FinanceComplexQA: Benchmarking Agentic Reasoning on Industrial-grade Financial Documents

Agentic Reasoning has become a transformative force in financial analysis due to its ability to integrate large-scale information and generate reliable and accurate content. However, when handling complex real-world problems, different agents still show significant performance variation. In this work, we design Finance-LaTeX SKILL, a skill for synthesizing financial documents with complex layouts based on expert knowledge. Using an agent workflow built on this skill, we generate 2,000 professional financial documents along with 6,000 high-quality question-answer pairs. To evaluate the overall capability of agents, we introduce FinanceComplexQA, a comprehensive open-ended generation benchmark for financial documents that closely resembles real-world scenarios. It contains 2,026 deep research tasks targeting 1009 financial documents. FinanceComplexQA has 8 key features: bilingual support; coverage of six mainstream scenarios and seven tasks; expert-level document reasoning questions; deep research of complex layouts; relatively stable and permanent reference answers; and precise evaluation through an Agent-as-a-Judge with multiple evaluation metrics. Using FinanceComplexQA, we conduct a comprehensive evaluation of leading RAG systems and agentic reasoning tools for financial document QA. Through identifying and analyzing failure cases, we provide an in-depth study of their capabilities in numerical computation, multi-hop reasoning, content summarization, and industry analysis.

FADPNet: Frequency-Aware Dual-Path Network for Face Super-Resolution

Face super-resolution (FSR) under limited computational budgets remains challenging. Existing methods often treat all facial pixels equally, leading to suboptimal resource allocation and degraded performance. CNNs are sensitive to high-frequency facial features such as contours and outlines, while Mamba excels at capturing low-frequency attributes like facial color and texture with lower complexity than Transformers. Motivated by this, we propose FADPNet, a Frequency-Aware Dual-Path Network that decomposes facial features into low- and high-frequency components for dedicated processing. The low-frequency branch employs a Mamba-based Low-Frequency Enhancement Block (LFEB) that integrates state-space attention with squeeze-and-excitation to restore global interactions and emphasize informative channels. The high-frequency branch uses a CNN-based Depthwise Position-aware Attention (DPA) module to refine structural details, followed by a lightweight High-Frequency Refinement (HFR) module for further frequency-specific refinement. These designs enable FADPNet to achieve a strong balance between FSR quality and efficiency, outperforming existing methods. Codes will be available at https://github.com/IVIPLab/FADPNet.

ConsiSpace: Learning Geometric Consistency Matters for Video Spatial Reasoning

Video spatial reasoning is essential for navigation-oriented perception and long-video question answering, where models must infer spatial relations across long horizons under changing viewpoints. However, existing multimodal large language models (MLLMs) remain largely semantic-centric, and often fail to reliably aggregate consistent spatial evidence from redundant video observations, leading to inefficient or unstable reasoning. To address these issues, we propose ConsiSpace, a geometry-consistency-aware framework for geometry-sensitive video spatial reasoning that turns spatial consistency into both an evidence organization principle and an explicit post-SFT learning signal. We build a geometry-consistent memory (GCM) including implicit evidence tokens and explicit geometric cues, and leverage efficient organization strategies to compactly preserve task-related spatial evidence. Furthermore, we utilize unified consistency self-supervised reinforcement learning (UC-SSRL) after supervised fine-tuning to improve cross-view stability, with answer-, metric-, and topology-consistency rewards. Extensive experiments on three spatial-reasoning benchmarks, VSI-Bench, OSI-Bench, and MMSI-Video-Bench, show consistent gains, improving the average score by 12.6 points over the strongest baselines.

Large-Scale Terminal Agentic Trajectory Generation from Dockerized Environments

Training agentic models for terminal-based tasks critically depends on high-quality terminal trajectories that capture realistic long-horizon interactions across diverse domains. However, constructing such data at scale remains challenging due to two key requirements: \textbf{\emph{Executability}}, since each instance requires a suitable and often distinct Docker environment; and \textbf{\emph{Verifiability}}, because heterogeneous task outputs preclude unified, standardized verification. To address these challenges, we propose \textbf{TerminalTraj}, a scalable pipeline that (i) filters high-quality repositories to construct Dockerized execution environments, (ii) generates Docker-aligned task instances, and (iii) synthesizes agent trajectories with executable validation code. Using TerminalTraj, we curate 32K Docker images and generate 50,733 verified terminal trajectories across eight domains. Models trained on this data with the Qwen2.5-Coder backbone achieve consistent performance improvements on TerminalBench (TB), with gains of up to 20\% on TB~1.0 and 10\% on TB~2.0 over their respective backbones. Notably, \textbf{TerminalTraj-32B} achieves strong performance among models with fewer than 100B parameters, reaching 35.30\% on TB~1.0 and 22.00\% on TB~2.0, and demonstrates improved test-time scaling behavior. All code and data are available at https://github.com/Wusiwei0410/TerminalTraj.

A Dual-Bearing Magnetorheological Grease Clutch with Intention-Based Demagnetization for Wearable Haptic Feedback

This paper presents the design, modeling, and control of a dual-bearing magnetorheological grease (MRG) clutch for wearable haptic feedback. Compared with conventional MR fluid devices, the proposed clutch avoids leakage-related reliability degradation while achieving high torque density in a compact structure. To provide physical insight into the torque-generation mechanism, a physics-inspired interpretive model is introduced to capture the dominant relationship among excitation current, magnetic-field evolution in the bearing gaps, and clutch locking torque. To mitigate the undesirable ``sticky'' sensation caused by passive bidirectional braking, an intention-based control strategy with active demagnetization is further developed to enable smoother release during human--robot interaction. Experimental characterization shows that the proposed clutch achieves a maximum locking torque of 43.42\,N$\cdot$m at 1.3\,A and a torque-to-mass ratio of 96.5\,N$\cdot$m/kg. Bench tests, replay validation, teleoperation experiments, and user studies indicate that the proposed approach accelerates clutch release and improves perceived release transparency and contact-to-release smoothness, while maintaining effective multi-level kinesthetic rendering.

Agentic Service-Oriented Computing: A Manifesto for the Next Frontier of Service-Oriented Computing

The rapid emergence of LLM-powered autonomous and semi-autonomous agents is reshaping software systems from static, request-response components into goal-directed, adaptive, and tool-using computational actors. As these agents move from isolated cognitive prototypes into complex distributed workflows, they confront challenges that the Service-Oriented Computing community has studied for more than two decades: composition, interoperability, quality of service, lifecycle management, governance, security, and trust. Yet much of today's agentic AI ecosystem is developing these foundations ad hoc, without the engineering rigour required for dependable enterprise and societal deployment. This paper introduces Agentic Service-Oriented Computing (ASOC) as a new research and practice area concerned with engineering agents as services, orchestrating services through autonomous and semi-autonomous agents, and governing ecosystems of agents and services under constraints of trust, cybersecurity, compliance, performance, and accountability. We articulate six foundational principles of ASOC (harness-ability, composability, lifecycle engineering, trustworthiness by design, goal-driven orchestration, and observability/accountability) and organise a five-dimensional research agenda spanning: (i) agentic services foundations and lifecycle engineering; (ii) composition, orchestration, and interoperability; (iii) governance, observability, and accountability; (iv) security, trust, and risk management; and (v) evaluation, certification, and Agentic QoS. We argue that the Services Computing community is especially well positioned to provide the conceptual and engineering spine for this emerging field, transforming agentic AI from fragmented demonstrations into dependable, service-based systems worthy of human and organisational trust.

ColorFM: An Optimization-to-Learning Framework for Color Transfer via Flow Matching

Color transfer aims to align the color distribution of a source image with that of a reference image while preserving structural and semantic consistency. However, existing methods often suffer from inaccurate global mapping, semantic misalignment, and visual artifacts. To address these issues, we propose ColorFM, an optimization-to-learning framework. ColorFM connects online optimization to offline inference by reformulating color transfer as the transport of pixel distributions along velocity fields via Flow Matching. Specifically, we introduce ColorFM-O, an instance-specific optimization scheme that fits the velocity field through hierarchical color coupling guided by semantic priors. By numerically integrating the induced flow trajectories, ColorFM-O produces precise and semantically consistent color transfer results, while generating high-quality paired data as pseudo-supervision. Building upon this, we design ColorFM-L, an efficient feed-forward model trained on the generated pairs. Through implicit state modeling, ColorFM-L extracts deep semantic features to predict flow parameters for bidirectional linearized transport, ensuring accurate color transfer. Extensive experiments demonstrate that ColorFM-L outperforms state-of-the-art methods in visual quality, structural fidelity, and semantic consistency, successfully combining the accuracy of optimization with the speed of feed-forward inference.

OpenGround: Planning-based Online Perception for Open-World 3D Visual Grounding

3D visual grounding aims to locate objects based on natural language descriptions in 3D scenes. Existing supervised methods are limited by generalization and recent zero-shot methods typically rely on a predefined Object Lookup Table (OLT) to query Visual Language Models (VLMs) for reasoning about object locations via a single step grounding, which limits the applications in scenarios with undefined targets and complex queries. To address these problems, we present OpenGround, a novel zero-shot framework for open-world 3D visual grounding that remains compatible with recent zero-shot methods. OpenGround integrates Task-Chain Planning to decompose a query into a plan of context-to-target sub-goals for progressive grounding, and Context-Guided Perception to perceive novel objects online under context guidance from the task chain. We also propose a new dataset named OpenTarget, which contains over 7000 object-description pairs to mimic open-world evaluation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that OpenGround achieves competitive performance on Nr3D, state-of-the-art on ScanRefer, and delivers a substantial 17.6\% improvement on OpenTarget. Beyond Static Rules: Automated Discovery of Latent Vulnerabilities in Text-to-SQL

While Large Language Models (LLMs) have achieved remarkable success in Text-to-SQL tasks, their deployment in real-world environments is hindered by latent reliability issues. Identifying these latent weaknesses is critical for building trustworthy database interfaces, yet current diagnostic approaches rely heavily on static, expert-defined rules, which lack the capability for systematic and automated exploration. To bridge this gap, we propose SAGE (Systematic Automated Guided Exploration), a novel framework designed to autonomously uncover latent failure patterns in LLM-based Text-to-SQL generation. Specifically, SAGE generates vulnerability hypotheses for given samples and references a continuously evolving Vulnerability Codex to design targeted perturbations, thereby iteratively verifying and documenting potential defects. Extensive experiments on state-of-the-art open-source LLMs demonstrate that SAGE uncovers a substantial number of failure cases, highlighting the significant fragility of current models. Furthermore, our analysis reveals that the Vulnerability Codex exhibits strong cross-model transferability, indicating that the discovered patterns represent generalized structural weaknesses. Finally, we explore SAGE's potential for remediation. Although preliminary, lightweight fine-tuning on the generated samples yields promising improvements, suggesting a scalable pathway for closing the reliability loop in future work.

HyperDCM: Dynamic Cluster Memory Replay in Hyperbolic Space for Continual Robotic Navigation Across Scenes

Continual learning in visual navigation remains challenging due to catastrophic forgetting and the difficulties associated with adapting to diverse and evolving environments. To address these issues, we propose Hyperbolic Dynamic Cluster Memory (HyperDCM), a structure-aware memory mechanism that enhances diffusion policy-based navigation through scene graph modeling and principled memory replay. HyperDCM extracts semantic scene triples from RGB observations using large vision-language models, encodes them into scene graph embeddings via a Relational Graph Convolutional Network (R-GCN), and projects the embeddings into hyperbolic space to enhance structural separability and retention in continual navigation. A dynamic clustering and structure-sensitive update strategy selects representative samples for memory replay, thereby preserving knowledge diversity and mitigating catastrophic forgetting. Experiments on multi-scene indoor and outdoor datasets demonstrate that HyperDCM achieves superior retention of past navigation capabilities and improved generalization compared to representative continual learning baselines adapted to diffusion policy navigation.

PASDiff: Physics-Aware Semantic Guidance for Joint Real-World Low-Light Face Enhancement and Restoration

Face images captured in real-world low light suffer multiple degradations-low illumination, blur, noise, and low visibility, etc. Existing cascaded solutions often suffer from severe error accumulation, while generic joint models lack explicit facial priors and struggle to resolve clear face structures. In this paper, we propose PASDiff, a Physics-Aware Semantic Diffusion with a training-free manner. To achieve a plausible illumination and color distribution, we leverage inverse intensity weighting and Retinex theory to introduce photometric constraints, thereby reliably recovering visibility and natural chromaticity. To faithfully reconstruct facial details, our Style-Agnostic Structural Injection (SASI) extracts structures from an off-the-shelf facial prior while filtering out its intrinsic photometric biases, seamlessly harmonizing identity features with physical constraints. Furthermore, we construct WildDark-Face, a real-world benchmark of 700 low-light facial images with complex degradations. Extensive experiments demonstrate that PASDiff significantly outperforms existing methods, achieving a superior balance among natural illumination, color recovery, and identity consistency. Code and dataset will be available at https://github.com/IVIPLab/PASDiff.

Temporal and Cross-Modal Alignment for Enhanced Audiovisual Video Captioning

While Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) have advanced video understanding, achieving precise temporal and cross-modal alignment in audiovisual video captioning remains a formidable challenge. Most existing approaches suffer from modality detachment and temporal incoherence, failing to accurately bind auditory events to visual entities or capture complex causal dynamics. To address these deficiencies, we propose TCA-Captioner, a framework specifically engineered to enhance Temporal and Cross-Modal Alignment for audiovisual video captioning. We first introduce the Observer-Checker-Corrector (OCC) framework, an iterative refinement strategy that generates high-fidelity, meticulously grounded training data. Leveraging a curated high-density human interaction dataset, TCA-Captioner is optimized to model sophisticated audiovisual interactions. Furthermore, we present TCA-Bench, a diagnostic benchmark utilizing a Decoupled Evaluation Protocol to isolate and quantify model proficiency in audiovisual binding and temporal relational reasoning. Extensive experiments demonstrate that TCA-Captioner sets a new standard for temporally-coherent and synchronized audiovisual narratives.

GaussianEmoTalker: Real-Time Emotional Talking Head Synthesis with Audio-Driven and Blendshape-Based 3D Gaussian Splatting

Audio-driven talking head synthesis has achieved impressive progress in lip synchronization and visual quality, yet generating expressive emotional avatars with controllable intensity remains challenging, especially under real-time constraints. In this paper, we present GaussianEmoTalker, an audio-driven framework for real-time emotional talking head synthesis based on 3D Gaussian Splatting. Instead of directly predicting the final emotional avatar from speech, we formulate emotional animation as a neutral-to-emotional residual deformation problem. GaussianEmoTalker first constructs an identity-specific neutral talking space with GaussianBlendshapes, which provides high-fidelity Gaussian attributes and phoneme-synchronized neutral motion. It then predicts an emotion-conditioned residual deformation by combining mesh displacement cues, audio features, emotion categories, and intensity encodings. To fuse these heterogeneous signals, we introduce a spatial-audio-emotion attention module that estimates the offsets of Gaussian attributes for expressive and temporally stable rendering. Extensive experiments demonstrate that GaussianEmoTalker achieves competitive video quality, accurate lip synchronization, controllable emotional expression, and real-time rendering compared with recent emotional talking head methods. RefAlign: Representation Alignment for Reference-to-Video Generation

Reference-to-video (R2V) generation is a controllable video synthesis paradigm that constrains the generation process using both text prompts and reference images, enabling applications such as personalized advertising and virtual try-on. In practice, existing R2V methods typically introduce additional high-level semantic or cross-modal features alongside the VAE latent representation of the reference image and jointly feed them into the diffusion Transformer (DiT). These auxiliary representations provide semantic guidance and act as implicit alignment signals, which can partially alleviate pixel-level information leakage in the VAE latent space. However, they may still struggle to address copy--paste artifacts and multi-subject confusion caused by modality mismatch across heterogeneous encoder features. In this paper, we propose RefAlign, a representation alignment framework that explicitly aligns DiT reference-branch features to the semantic space of a visual foundation model (VFM). The core of RefAlign is a reference alignment loss that pulls the reference features and VFM features of the same subject closer to improve identity consistency, while pushing apart the corresponding features of different subjects to enhance semantic discriminability. This simple yet effective strategy is applied only during training, incurring no inference-time overhead, and achieves a better balance between text controllability and reference fidelity. Extensive experiments on the OpenS2V-Eval benchmark demonstrate that RefAlign outperforms current state-of-the-art methods in TotalScore, validating the effectiveness of explicit reference alignment for R2V tasks.

IREU: Identity-Related Encoder-Only Unlearning for Customized Portrait Generation

Customized Portrait Generation (CPG) technologies have been widely used to generate high-fidelity person images given an input image indicating the identity and a text prompt indicating the required edits. Yet these methods pose significant privacy risks by spreading fake visual information. Against such risks, each public generator should be able to suppress its generation ability for a particular person when requested. Therefore, in this work we investigate the identity unlearning problem for CPG. Since there are no previous methods in this field, we propose a simple baseline that updates the image encoder by minimizing identity similarity between generated and input images for target identities to be unlearned, while maximizing it for identities to be retained. However, we find such a global perturbation in the feature space harms the fidelity of generated images for other identities to be retained. To solve this problem, we propose a novel method IREU, which first locates identity-related features in an offline manner and then only performs feature perturbations on them. The experimental results show that our proposed method IREU achieves better identity unlearning performance for target identities to be unlearned, and also keeps high fidelity for other identities to be retained. In addition, our unlearned image encoder is generalizable across different generators with the same encoder without fine-tuning, which is friendly for deployment in practice.

CuraWeb: Joint Optimization of Quality, Redundancy, and Diversity for Web-Scale Pretraining Data

Open-web corpora curated via highly selective filters, such as FineWeb-Edu and DCLM, constitute the core of LLM pretraining data and have significantly advanced LLM performance. However, these pipelines typically rely on singular optimization objectives, which inevitably narrows distributional diversity and marginalizes long-tail knowledge, thereby restricting data coverage and underutilizing the vast potential of the open web. To address this limitation, we propose a novel curation paradigm that shifts from linear pruning to the joint optimization of quality, redundancy, and diversity. This framework synergizes dual-track cleaning (rule-based and model-driven) with hybrid deduplication (n-gram and semantic), while employing a multi-objective sampler to balance informational quality with distributional breadth. Applying this framework to Common Crawl, we construct CuraWeb, a 2T-token English corpus. Unlike existing resources, CuraWeb establishes an industrial-grade standard for data curation by recovering a more holistic data distribution with enhanced diversity and minimal redundancy, achieving broader coverage of long-tail knowledge across diverse domains. Experimental evaluations at the 3B scale demonstrate that CuraWeb significantly outperforms state-of-the-art baselines, yielding an average performance gain of 1.8\% across a wide range of benchmarks, particularly in knowledge-intensive and reasoning tasks.

OrthoTryOn: Geometric Orthogonalization for Conflict-Free Unified Fashion Generation

Unified fashion generation integrates tasks like virtual try-on and garment reconstruction into a single model to reduce task-specific adaptation costs. However, naive parameter sharing across semantically distinct tasks induces negative transfer through severe inter-task gradient conflict. We propose OrthoTryOn, a unified framework mitigating this interference within a shared Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) module. Its Orthogonal Subspace Projection (OSP) applies task-specific orthogonal rotations to bottleneck features, mapping them into decorrelated coordinate frames. To address residual semantic coupling at inference time, we further propose Fisher-guided Negative Guidance (FNG), a parameter-free strategy that utilizes diagonal Fisher information to quantify inter-task sensitivity overlap and explicitly repels generation trajectories from the most confusable task via Classifier-Free Guidance. Extensive experiments demonstrate that OrthoTryOn avoids the severe performance degradation typical of naive unified training and even surpasses independently trained task-specific models, achieving state-of-the-art results across multiple benchmarks while generalizing robustly across diverse diffusion backbones. Code is available at https://github.com/NJU-PCALab/OrthoTryOn.
