Virtual crystals and Kleber's algorithm

Abstract

Kirillov and Reshetikhin conjectured what is now known as the fermionic formula for the decomposition of tensor products of certain finite dimensional modules over quantum affine algebras. This formula can also be extended to the case of $q$-deformations of tensor product multiplicities as recently conjectured by Hatayama et al. (math.QA/9812022 and math.QA/0102113). In its original formulation it is difficult to compute the fermionic formula efficiently. Kleber (q-alg/9611032 and math.QA/9809087) found an algorithm for the simply-laced algebras which overcomes this problem. We present a method which reduces all other cases to the simply-laced case using embeddings of affine algebras. This is the fermionic analogue of the virtual crystal construction by the authors, which is the realization of crystal graphs for arbitrary quantum affine algebras in terms of those of simply-laced type.

Reverse Module Categories of Vertex Operator Algebras

We study the realization of the reverse braided category of the module category of a rational vertex operator algebra V. Using holomorphic extensions and commutant constructions, we prove that this realization property is preserved under suitable cosets, tensor products, extensions, and finite-group orbifolds. As applications, we establish the property for unitary Virasoro minimal models, affine vertex operator algebras of types ABCDE at positive integral levels, the corresponding principal W-algebras of type ADE, and related parafermion vertex operator algebras.

Semisimple module categories with fusion rules of the compact flag manifold type

We classify semisimple left module categories over the representation category of a type A quantum group whose fusion rules arise from Levi subalgebras. The classification is connected to equivariant Poisson structures on compact flag manifolds in the operator-algebraic setting, and on semisimple coadjoint orbits in the algebraic setting. We also provide an explicit construction based on the BGG categories of deformed quantum enveloping algebras, whose unitarizability corresponds to being of quotient type. Finally, we present a brief discussion of the non-quantum group case

Two Non--Commutative U(1)-Gauge Laplacians in the Quantum Hyperboloid

In this paper, we will characterize the spectrum of two $U(1)$--gauge Laplacians, which do not commute with each other, on the upper sheet of a two--sheet quantum hyperboloid equipped with a concrete differential calculus; while we provide a thorough and comprehensive study of the geometric structures on the related quantum spaces.
