A strange five vertex model and multispecies ASEP on a ring

We revisit the problem of constructing the stationary states of the multispecies asymmetric simple exclusion process on a one-dimensional periodic lattice. Central to our approach is a quantum oscillator weighted five vertex model which features a strange weight conservation distinct from the conventional one. Our results clarify the interrelations among several known results and refine their derivations. For instance, the stationary probability derived from the multiline queue construction by Martin (2020) and Corteel--Mandelshtam--Williams (2022) is identified with the partition function of a three-dimensional system. The matrix product operators by Prolhac--Evans--Mallick (2009) acquire a natural diagrammatic interpretation as corner transfer matrices (CTM). The origin of their recursive tensor structure, as questioned by Aggarwal--Nicoletti--Petrov (2023), is revealed through the CTM diagrams. Finally, the derivation of the Zamolodchikov--Faddeev algebra by Cantini--de Gier--Wheeler (2015) is made intrinsic by elucidating its precise connection to a solution to the Yang--Baxter equation originating from quantum group representations.

Oscillator representations of quantum affine orthosymplectic superalgebras

We introduce a category of $q$-oscillator representations over the quantum affine superalgebras of type $D$ and construct a new family of its irreducible representations. Motivated by the theory of super duality, we show that these irreducible representations naturally interpolate the irreducible $q$-oscillator representations of type $X_n^{(1)}$ and the finite-dimensional irreducible representations of type $Y_n^{(1)}$ for $(X,Y)=(C,D),(D,C)$ under exact monoidal functors. This can be viewed as a quantum (untwisted) affine analogue of the correspondence between irreducible oscillator and irreducible finite-dimensional representations of classical Lie algebras arising from Howe's reductive dual pairs $(\mathfrak{g},G)$, where $\mathfrak{g}=\mathfrak{sp}_{2n}, \mathfrak{so}_{2n}$ and $G=O_\ell, Sp_{2\ell}$.

Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules and quantum $K$-matrices

From a quantum $K$-matrix of the fundamental representation, we construct one for the Kirillov-Reshetikhin module by fusion construction. Using the $\imath$crystal theory by the last author, we also obtain combinatorial $K$-matrices corresponding to the symmetric tensor representations of affine type $A$ for all quasi-split Satake diagrams.

Solution to the reflection equation related to the $\iota$quantum group of type AII

A solution to the reflection equation associated to a coideal subalgebra of $U_q(A_{2n-1}^{(1)})$ of type AII in the symmetric tensor representations is presented. If parameters of the coideal subalgebra are suitably chosen, the $K$ matrix does not depend on the quantum parameter $q$ and still agrees with a solution in arXiv:nlin/0411044 at $q=0$.

Higher level $q$-oscillator representations for $U_q(C_n^{(1)}),U_q(C^{(2)}(n+1))$ and $U_q(B^{(1)}(0,n))$

We introduce higher level $q$-oscillator representations for the quantum affine (super)algebras of type $C_n^{(1)},C^{(2)}(n+1)$ and $B^{(1)}(0,n)$. These representations are constructed by applying the fusion procedure to the level one $q$-oscillator representations which were obtained through the studies of the tetrahedron equation. We prove that these higher level $q$-oscillator representations are irreducible. For type $C_n^{(1)}$ and $C^{(2)}(n+1)$, we compute their characters explicitly in terms of Schur polynomials.

Reflection $K$ matrices associated with an Onsager coideal of $U_p(A^{(1)}_{n-1})$, $U_p(B^{(1)}_n)$, $U_p(D^{(1)}_n)$ and $U_p(D^{(2)}_{n+1})$

We determine the intertwiners of a family of Onsager coideal subalgebras of the quantum affine algebra $U_p(A^{(1)}_{n-1})$ in the fundamental representations and $U_p(B^{(1)}_{n}), U_p(D^{(1)}_{n}), U_p(D^{(2)}_{n+1})$ in the spin representations. They reproduce the reflection $K$ matrices obtained recently by the matrix product construction connected to the three dimensional integrability. In particular the present approach provides the first proof of the reflection equation for the non type $A$ cases.

Matrix product solution to the reflection equation associated with a coideal subalgebra of $U_q(A^{(1)}_{n-1})$

We present a new solution to the reflection equation associated with a coideal subalgebra of $U_q(A^{(1)}_{n-1})$ in the symmetric tensor representations and their dual. Elements of the $K$ matrix are expressed by a matrix product formula involving terminating $q$-hypergeometric series in $q$-boson generators. At $q=0$, our result reproduces a known set-theoretical solution to the reflection equation connected to the crystal base theory.

Randomized box-ball systems, limit shape of rigged configurations and Thermodynamic Bethe ansatz

We introduce a probability distribution on the set of states in a generalized box-ball system associated with Kirillov-Reshetikhin (KR) crystals of type $A^{(1)}_n$. Their conserved quantities induce $n$-tuple of random Young diagrams in the rigged configurations. We determine their limit shape as the system gets large by analyzing the Fermionic formula by thermodynamic Bethe ansatz. The result is expressed as a logarithmic derivative of a deformed character of the KR modules and agrees with the stationary local energy of the associated Markov process of carriers.

Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules of generalized quantum group of type $A$

The generalized quantum group of type $A$ is an affine analogue of quantum group associated to a general linear Lie superalgebra, which appears in the study of solutions to the tetrahedron equation or the three-dimensional Yang-Baxter equation. In this paper, we develop the crystal base theory for finite-dimensional representations of generalized quantum group of type $A$. As a main result, we construct Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules, that is, a family of irreducible modules which have crystal bases. We also give an explicit combinatorial description of the crystal structure of Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules, the combinatorial $R$ matrix, and energy function on their tensor products.

Rigged configuration bijection and proof of the $X=M$ conjecture for nonexceptional affine types

We establish a bijection between rigged configurations and highest weight elements of a tensor product of Kirillov-Reshetikhin crystals for all nonexceptional types. A key idea for the proof is to embed both objects into bigger sets for simply-laced types $A_n^{(1)}$ or $D_n^{(1)}$, whose bijections have already been established. As a consequence we settle the $X=M$ conjecture in full generality for nonexceptional types. Furthermore, the bijection extends to a classical crystal isomorphism and sends the combinatorial $R$-matrix to the identity map on rigged configurations.

Integrable Structure of Multispecies Zero Range Process

We present a brief review on integrability of multispecies zero range process in one dimension introduced recently. The topics range over stochastic $R$ matrices of quantum affine algebra $U_q (A^{(1)}_n)$, matrix product construction of stationary states for periodic systems, $q$-boson representation of Zamolodchikov-Faddeev algebra, etc. We also introduce new commuting Markov transfer matrices having a mixed boundary condition and prove the factorization of a family of $R$ matrices associated with the tetrahedron equation and generalized quantum groups at a special point of the spectral parameter.

A $q$-boson representation of Zamolodchikov-Faddeev algebra for stochastic $R$ matrix of $U_q(A^{(1)}_n)$

We construct a $q$-boson representation of the Zamolodchikov-Faddeev algebra whose structure function is given by the stochastic $R$ matrix of $U_q(A^{(1)}_n)$ introduced recently. The representation involves quantum dilogarithm type infinite products in the $n(n-1)/2$-fold tensor product of $q$-bosons. It leads to a matrix product formula of the stationary probabilities in the $U_q(A_n^{(1)})$-zero range process on a one-dimensional periodic lattice.

Matrix product formula for $U_q(A^{(1)}_2)$-zero range process

The $U_q(A^{(1)}_n)$-zero range processes introduced recently by Mangazeev, Maruyama and the authors are integrable discrete and continuous time Markov processes associated with the stochastic $R$ matrix derived from the well-known $U_q(A_n^{(1)})$ quantum $R$ matrix. By constructing a representation of the relevant Zamolodchikov-Faddeev algebra, we present, for $n=2$, a matrix product formula for the steady state probabilities in terms of $q$-boson operators.

Stochastic $R$ matrix for $U_q(A^{(1)}_n)$

We show that the quantum $R$ matrix for symmetric tensor representations of $U_q(A^{(1)}_n)$ satisfies the sum rule required for its stochastic interpretation under a suitable gauge. Its matrix elements at a special point of the spectral parameter are found to factorize into the form that naturally extends Povolotsky's local transition rate in the $q$-Hahn process for $n=1$. Based on these results we formulate new discrete and continuous time integrable Markov processes on a one-dimensional chain in terms of $n$ species of particles obeying asymmetric stochastic dynamics. Bethe ansatz eigenvalues of the Markov matrices are also given.

Type $D_n^{(1)}$ rigged configuration bijection

We establish a bijection between the set of rigged configurations and the set of tensor products of Kirillov--Reshetikhin crystals of type $D^{(1)}_n$ in full generality. We prove the invariance of rigged configurations under the action of the combinatorial $R$-matrix on tensor products and show that the bijection preserves certain statistics (cocharge and energy). As a result, we establish the fermionic formula for type $D_n^{(1)}$. In addition, we establish that the bijection is a classical crystal isomorphism.

Multispecies totally asymmetric zero range process: II. Hat relation and tetrahedron equation

We consider a three-dimensional (3D) lattice model associated with the intertwiner of the quantized coordinate ring $A_q(sl_3)$, and introduce a family of layer to layer transfer matrices on $m\times n$ square lattice. By using the tetrahedron equation we derive their commutativity and bilinear relations mixing various boundary conditions. At $q=0$ and $m=n$, they lead to a new proof of the steady state probability of the $n$-species totally asymmetric zero range process obtained recently by the authors, revealing the 3D integrability in the matrix product construction.
