Algorithmic universal \'etale $(\varphi,\Gamma)$-modules

Let $F/\mathbb{Q}_p$ be a finite extension and let $\breve{G}$ be a connected reductive group with connected center satisfying $p>h_{\breve{G}}$ (the Coxeter number). We write down explicit polynomial equations for the reduced Emerton-Gee stacks (the Borel and the twisted Borel versions that jointly cover the entire $\mathcal{X}_{\breve{G},\mathrm{red}}^{\mathrm{EG}}$), by introducing the mod $p$ Weil-Deligne stacks capturing derived structures of $(\varphi, \Gamma)$-modules in reduced families. This allows us to algorithmically compute the set of irreducible components of $\mathcal{X}_{\breve{G},\mathrm{red}}^{\mathrm{EG}}$, thereby establishing its equidimensionality, and the existence of crystalline lifts by showing the total number of irreducible components equals the number of (mod $p$) crystalline (or potentially semistable) components. The last step of the arguments is to interpolate the rigid analytic Weil-Deligne stacks and the mod $p$ Weil-Deligne stacks to deduce the number of potentially semistable components. An initial implementation of the algorithms based on Gr\"obner basis establishes the existence of crystalline lifts in the $\breve{G}=\mathrm{F}_4$ case for all $F/\mathbb{Q}_p$, and in the remaining $\breve{G}=\mathrm{E}_6, \mathrm{E}_7$, and $\mathrm{E}_8$ cases for all but finitely many $F/\mathbb{Q}_p$.

The topological Breuil-M\'ezard conjecture for classical groups

For unitary, orthogonal and symplectic groups, we compute the dimension of the reduced Emerton-Gee stacks, and give an explicit description of their top-dimensional Chow group. Our results are unconditional when $p\neq 2$. The main innovation is a new method for analyzing the vanishing locus of Galois cup products valued in high dimensions.

Extensions of de Rham Galois representations

We construct the parabolic version and the reductive version of the integral de Rham moduli stacks of Langlands parameters ($p>3$). We allow the group to be arbitrarily ramified. We propose that the top Chow group of the reduced Emerton-Gee stack $\mathcal{X}_{^L\!G}$ is isomorphic to that of the moduli of Weil-Deligne representations valued in $^L\!B$, where $^L\!B$ is a Borel of $^L\!G$. The latter bears a concrete description by Serre weights corrected by the Kottwitz homomorphism. We explicitly define such a map using parabolic de Rham moduli stacks as the composition of a chain of tautological maps, and confirm it is an isomorphism for (1) algebraic tori, (2) unitary, orthogonal and symplectic groups, (3) tame groups when restricted to the cyclotomic-free part of the Chow groups.

Heisenberg varieties and the existence of de Rham lifts

We establish the existence of de Rham lifts of Langlands parameters (or Galois representations) for unitary, orthogonal and symplectic (similitude) groups of arbitrary rank. Our results are unconditional except for the assumption $p>2$.

A Deligne-Lusztig type correspondence for tame $p$-adic groups

We establish a "matrix simultaneous diagonalization theorem" for disconnected reductive groups which relaxes both the semisimplicity condition and the commutativity condition. As an application, we prove the following basic results concerning mod $p$ Langlands parameters for quasi-split tame groups $G$ over a $p$-adic field $F$: (1) semisimple $L$-parameters $\operatorname{Gal}_F\to {^ L\!G}({\bar{\mathbb{F}}_p})$ factor through the $L$-group of a maximal $F$-torus of $G$; (2) All semisimple mod $p$ $L$-parameters admit a de Rham lift of regular $p$-adic Hodge type; (3) A version of tame inertial local Langlands correspondnece; and (4) A group-theoretic description of irreducible components of the reduced Emerton-Gee stacks away from Steinberg parts. We also propose generalizations of the explicit recipe for Serre weights (after Herzig) and the geometric Breuil-M\'ezard for tame groups.

Moduli stacks of generalized phi-modules

Let $F$ be an arbitrary $p$-adic field and let $G$ be an arbitrary reductive group over $F$ with Langlands dual group $^LG$. We show that the change-of-group morphism of Emerton-Gee stacks $\mathcal{X}_{^LG}\to\mathcal{X}_{GL_d}$ is relatively representable by algebraic stacks of finite presentation over $\operatorname{Spf}\mathbf{Z}_p$ for any embedding $^LG\to GL_d$, which improves the result of \cite{Min25} which says the morphism is representable by locally Noetherian formal algebraic stacks.

Crystalline lifts and a variant of the Steinberg-Winter theorem

Let $K/\mathbb{Q}_p$ be a finite extension. For all irreducible representations $\bar\rho: G_K \to G(\bar{\mathbb{F}}_p)$ valued in a general reductive group $G$, we construct crystalline lifts of $\bar\rho$ which are Hodge-Tate regular. We also discuss rationality questions. We prove a variant of the Steinberg-Winter theorem along the way.

Lyndon-Demushkin method and crystalline lifts of $G_2$-valued Galois representations

We show for all local fields $K/\mathbb{Q}_p$, with $p >3$, all representations $\bar\rho:G_K \to G_2(\bar{\mathbb{F}}_p)$ admit a crystalline lift $\rho: G_K\to G_2(\bar{\mathbb{Z}}_p)$, where $G_2$ is the exceptional Chevalley group of type $G_2$. The main ingredient is a new technique for analyzing the obstruction of non-abelian extensions of Galois modules, which has roots in combinatorial group theory. We also rely on the Emerton-Gee stack of $(\phi, \Gamma)$-modules to construct abelian extensions.
