MulDP: Multimodal Diffusion Policy for Autonomous Quadruped Parkour Navigation across Complex Terrains

Quadruped robots have demonstrated impressive agility in parkour locomotion across complex terrains. However, most systems still rely on human intervention for high-level planning, and autonomous parkour navigation remains underexplored. The key challenges include fine-grained velocity regulation, long-horizon anticipatory behaviors, and tight coupling between perception and embodied execution. To address these challenges, we propose a Multimodal Diffusion Policy (MulDP) that integrates visual perception with robot proprioception and goal information to generate temporally coherent and anticipatory navigation velocity commands, tightly coupling perception with embodied control to enable robust autonomous navigation. To support the training of MulDP, we construct the first Quadruped Parkour Navigation Dataset (QPND), a multimodal dataset that encompasses diverse navigation behaviors and complex terrains. Extensive simulation and real-world experiments demonstrate that MulDP enables robust long-horizon autonomous navigation and effective traversal across complex terrains.

Preventing Data Leakage in EEG-Based Survival Prediction: A Two-Stage Embedding and Transformer Framework

Deep learning models have shown promise in EEG-based outcome prediction for comatose patients after cardiac arrest, but their reliability is often compromised by subtle forms of data leakage. In particular, when long EEG recordings are segmented into short windows and reused across multiple training stages, models may implicitly encode and propagate label information, leading to overly optimistic validation performance and poor generalization. In this study, we identify a previously overlooked form of data leakage in multi-stage EEG modeling pipelines. We demonstrate that violating strict patient-level separation can significantly inflate validation metrics while causing substantial degradation on independent test data. To address this issue, we propose a leakage-aware two-stage framework. In the first stage, short EEG segments are transformed into embedding representations using a convolutional neural network with an ArcFace objective. In the second stage, a Transformer-based model aggregates these embeddings to produce patient-level predictions, with strict isolation between training cohorts to eliminate leakage pathways. Experiments on a large-scale EEG dataset of post-cardiac-arrest patients show that the proposed framework achieves stable and generalizable performance under clinically relevant constraints, particularly in maintaining high sensitivity at stringent specificity thresholds. These results highlight the importance of rigorous data partitioning and provide a practical solution for reliable EEG-based outcome prediction.

Robust Calibrate Proxy Loss for Deep Metric Learning

The mainstream researche in deep metric learning can be divided into two genres: proxy-based and pair-based methods. Proxy-based methods have attracted extensive attention due to the lower training complexity and fast network convergence. However, these methods have limitations as the poxy optimization is done by network, which makes it challenging for the proxy to accurately represent the feature distrubtion of the real class of data. In this paper, we propose a Calibrate Proxy (CP) structure, which uses the real sample information to improve the similarity calculation in proxy-based loss and introduces a calibration loss to constraint the proxy optimization towards the center of the class features. At the same time, we set a small number of proxies for each class to alleviate the impact of intra-class differences on retrieval performance. The effectiveness of our method is evaluated by extensive experiments on three public datasets and multiple synthetic label-noise datasets. The results show that our approach can effectively improve the performance of commonly used proxy-based losses on both regular and noisy datasets.

Service Function Chaining Resource Allocation: A Survey

Service Function Chaining (SFC) is a crucial technology for future Internet. It aims to overcome the limitation of current deployment models which is rigid and static. Application of this technology relies on algorithms that can optimally mapping SFC to substrate network. This category of algorithms is referred as "Service Function Chaining Resource Allocation (SFC-RA)" algorithms or "VNF placement (VNFP)" algorithms. This paper presents a survey of current researches in SFC-RA algorithms. After presenting the formulation and related problems, several variants of SFC-RA problem are summarized. At last, we discussed several future research directions.
