SemanticAgent: A Semantics-Aware Framework for Text-to-SQL Data Synthesis

Existing text-to-SQL synthesis pipelines still conflate executability with semantic validity: syntactic checks and execution-based validation can retain queries that execute successfully while violating database semantics. To address these limitations, we propose SemanticAgent, a semantic-aware synthesis framework. SemanticAgent organizes synthesis around three specialized modules: an analyzer, a synthesizer, and a verifier. Through a three-stage protocol of semantic analysis, stepwise synthesis, and diagnostic refinement, SemanticAgent transforms execution-based validation alone into a traceable reasoning process. Our framework generates synthetic data that consistently outperforms prior synthesis methods under semantic-quality evaluation, leading to stronger downstream fine-tuning performance, especially on semantically demanding benchmarks.

Quantitative Function and Algorithm for Community Detection in Bipartite Networks

Community detection in complex networks is a topic of high interest in many fields. Bipartite networks are a special type of complex networks in which nodes are decomposed into two disjoint sets, and only nodes between the two sets can be connected. Bipartite networks represent diverse interaction patterns in many real-world systems, such as predator-prey networks, plant-pollinator networks, and drug-target networks. While community detection in unipartite networks has been extensively studied in the past decade, identification of modules or communities in bipartite networks is still in its early stage. Several quantitative functions proposed for evaluating the quality of bipartite network divisions are based on null models and have distinct resolution limits. In this paper, we propose a new quantitative function for community detection in bipartite networks, and demonstrate that this quantitative function is superior to the widely used Barber's bipartite modularity and other functions. Based on the new quantitative function, the bipartite network community detection problem is formulated into an integer programming model. Bipartite networks can be partitioned into reasonable overlapping communities by maximizing the quantitative function. We further develop a heuristic and adapted label propagation algorithm (BiLPA) to optimize the quantitative function in large-scale bipartite networks. BiLPA does not require any prior knowledge about the number of communities in the networks. We apply BiLPA to both artificial networks and real-world networks and demonstrate that this method can successfully identify the community structures of bipartite networks.

Study of $η$ photoproduction on the proton in a chiral constituent quark approach via one-gluon-exchange model

A formalism based on a chiral quark model ($χ$QM) approach complemented with a one-gluon exchange model, to take into account the breakdown of the $SU(6)\otimes O(3)$ symmetry, is presented. The configuration mixing of wave functions for nucleon and resonances are derived. % With few adjustable parameters, differential cross-section and polarized beam asymmetry for the $γp \to ηp$ process are calculated and successfully compared with the data in the centre-of-mass energy range from threshold up to 2 GeV. The known resonances $S_{11}(1535)$, $S_{11}(1650)$, $P_{13}(1720)$, $D_{13}(1520)$, and $F_{15}(1680)$, as well as two new $S_{11}$ and $D_{15}$ resonances are found to be dominant in the reaction mechanism. Besides, connections among the scattering amplitudes of the $χ$QM approach and the helicity amplitudes, as well as decay widths of resonances are established. Possible contributions from the so-called "missing resonances" are investigated and found to be negligible.

Chiral constituent quark model study of the process $γp \to ηp$

A constituent quark model is developed for the reaction, allowing us to investigate all available data for differential cross sections as well as single polarization asymmetries (beam and target) by including {\it all} of the PDG, one to four star, nucleon resonances ($S_{11}$, $P_{11}$, $P_{13}$, $D_{13}$, $D_{15}$, $F_{15}$, $F_{17}$, $G_{17}$, $G_{19}$, $H_{19}$, $I_{1,11}$, and $K_{1,13}$). Issues related to the missing resonances are also briefly discussed by examining possible contributions from several new resonances ($S_{11}$, $P_{11}$, $P_{13}$, $D_{13}$, $ D_{15}$, and $H_{1,11}$).

Vector Meson Photoproduction with an Effective Lagrangian in the Quark Model

A quark model approach to the photoproduction of vector mesons off nucleons is proposed. Its starting point is an effective Lagrangian of the interaction between the vector meson and the quarks inside the baryon, which generates the non-diffractive s- and u- channel resonance contributions. Additional t-channel $π^0$ and $σ$ exchanges are included for the $ω$ and $ρ^0$ production respectively to account for the large diffractive behavior in the small $t$ region as suggested by Friman and Soyeur. The numerical results are presented for the $ω$ and $ρ$ productions in four isospin channels with the same set of parameters, and they are in good agreement with the available data not only in $ω$ and $ρ^0$ productions but also in the charged $ρ$ productions where the additional t-channel $σ$ exchange does not contribute so that it provides an important test to this approach. The investigation is also extended to the $ϕ$ photoproduction, and the initial results show that the non-diffractive behavior of the $ϕ$ productions in the large $t$ region can be described by the s- and u- channel contributions with significantly smaller coupling constants, which is consistent with the findings in the similar studies in the QHD framework. The numerical investigation has also shown that polarization observables are essential for identifying so-called "missing resonances".

Vector Meson Photoproduction with an Effective Lagrangian in the Quark Model II: $ω$ Photoproduction

An investigation of $γp\to ωp$ is presented in a constituent quark model approach. The sparse data in the large $t$ region where the resonances dominate is well described within the model, while the diffractive behavior in the small $t$ region requires an additional t-channel exchange. Taking into account the t-channel $π^0$ exchange, we find a good overall agreement with the available data with only 3 free parameters. Our study shows that the differential cross section is not sensitive to s-channel resonances, however, the polarization observables are demonstrated to be very sensitive. Thus, measuring polarization observables is the crucial part of the vector meson photoproduction program in the search for "missing" resonances.

$ω$ and $ρ$ Photoproduction with an Effective Quark Model Lagrangian

An unified approach for vector meson photoproduction is presented in the constit quark model. The s- and u-channel resonance contributions are generated using an effective quark vector-meson Lagrangian. In addition, taking into account $π^0$ and $σ$ t-channel exchanges for diffractive production, the available total and differential cross section data for $ω$, $ρ^0$, $ρ^+$, and $ρ^-$ photoproduction can be well described with the same quark model parameter set. Our results clearly indicate that polarization observables are essential to identify so-called "missing" resonances.

Vector Meson Photoproduction with an Effective Lagrangian in the Quark Model I: Formalism

A quark model approach to the photoproduction of vector mesons off nucleons is proposed. Its starting point is an effective Lagrangian of the interaction between the vector meson and the quarks inside the baryon. This paper develops the formalism and highlights the dynamical roles of s-channel resonances. It is demonstrated that the proposed approach is ideal to support searching for the missing resonances in the vector meson photoproduction experiments proposed at TJNAF.

Sigma Signal for Hybrid Baryon Decay

We develop an ansatze of the sigma enhancement of the I=0, L=0 $π$-$π$ scattering amplitude as arising from a low-energy glueball pole. Using this picture we estimate the $π^0π^0$ to $π^0$ branching ratio for the decays of the Roper resonance, which we previously found to be a hybrid in our QCD sum rule calculation. We find that the sigma decay might be a good signal for gluonic components of hadrons.

Kaon Productions Off Nucleons And The Structure of Baryon Resonances

The recent Investigations in the chiral quark model show that kaon productions of nucleon play an important role in understanding the structure of baryons. The evidences of a third $S_{11}$ resonance in the second resonance region and two narrow states around 2 GeV suggest a set of the molecular type baryons with hidden strangeness. Confirming these states requires further theoretical and experimental studies of the strangeness production.

An Unified Approach To Pseudo Scalar Meson Photoproductions Off Nucleons In The Quark Model

An unified approach to the pseudo scalar meson ($π, η$, and $K$) photoproduction off nucleons are presented. It begins with the low energy QCD Lagrangian, and the resonances in the s- and u- channels are treated in the framework of the quark model The duality hypothesis is imposed to limit the number of the t-channel exchanges. The CGLN amplitudes for each reaction are evaluated, which include both proton and neutron targets. The important role by the S-wave resonances in the second resonance region is discussed, it is particularly important for the $K, η$ and $η^\prime$ photoproductions.

The electromagnetic effects in isospin symmetry breakings of q{\bar q} systems

The isospin symmetry breakings of q{\bar q} are investigated in the QCD sum rule method. The electromagnetic effects are evaluated following the procedure requiring that the electromagnetic effects for charged meson be gauge invariant. We find that the electromagnetic effects are also dominant in the isospin violations of rho meson, which have been shown to be the case in the mass splittings of pions. The numerical results for the difference of pion decay constants and the masses of rho mesons are presented, which are consistent with the data.

Determining the Gluonic Content of Isoscalar Mesons

We develop tools to determine the gluonic content of a resonance of known mass, width and $J^{PC}$ from its branching fraction in radiative quarkonium decays and production cross section in $γγ$ collisions. We test the procedures by applying them to known $q\bar{q}$ mesons, then analyze four leading glueball candidates. We identify inconsistencies in data for $J/ψ\to γf_0(1500)$ and $J/ψ\to γf_J(1710)$ whose resolution can quantify their glueball status. When $Γ(f_0(1500) \to γγ)$ and $Γ(f_J(1710) \to γγ)$ are known, the $n\bar{n}, s\bar{s},gg$ mixing angles can be determined. The enigmatic situation in 1400-1500 MeV region of the isosinglet $0^{-+}$ sector is discussed.

The $η^\prime$ Photoproduction off the Nucleon in the quark model

The reaction $γ+ p\to η^\prime + p$ is investigated in the quark model approach. The quark model predicts that the off-shell contributions from the resonance $S_{11}(1535)$ dominate the $\etap$ production in the threshold region. We find that the coulping constant $α_{\etap NN}$ from the fit to a few total cross section data is small. The results of the total and differential cross sections are presented at different energies, which can be tested in the future experiments. If the future total cross data indeed show a resonance structure around 2 GeV suggested in a recent study, it would be an evidence of a non $qqq$ structure in its wavefunction.

Effects Of The Quantity $σ_{TS}$ On The Spin Structure Functions Of Nucleons In The Resonance Region

In this paper, we investigate the effects of the quantity $σ_{TS}$ on the spin-structure functions of nucleons in the resonance region. The Schwinger sum rule for the spin structure function $g_2(x,Q^2)$ at the real photon limit is derived for the nucleon treated as a composite system, and it provides a crucial constraint on the longitudinal transition operator which has not been treated consistently in the literature. The longitudinal amplitude $S_{\frac 12}$ is evaluated in the quark model with the transition operator that generates the Schwinger sum rule. The numerical results of the quantity $σ_{TS}$ are presented for both spin structure functions $g_1(x,Q^2)$ and $g_2(x,Q^2)$ in the resonance region. Our results show that this quantity plays an important role in the low $Q^2$ region, which can be tested in the future experiments at CEBAF.

Do we have three $S_{11}$ resonances in the second resonance region?

We review the status of the $S_{11}$ N$^*$ resonances in light of some recent theoretical and phenomenological results. Whereas the quark model predicts two such resonances around 1.6 GeV, there is considerable evidence for a third $S_{11}$ resonance in this energy range. This suggests that a $KΣ$ or $KΛ$ quasi-bound state may indeed exist below the kaon production threshold. We show that kaon production experiments, in particular $K^0$ photoproduction off nucleons, would be very sensitive to the existence of the third $S_{11}$ resonance.
