Paradigm Shift from Statistical Channel Modeling to Digital Twin Prediction: An Environment-Generalizable ChannelLM for 6G AI-enabled Air Interface

As 6G advances, ubiquitous connectivity and higher capacity requirements of the air interface pose substantial challenges for accurate and real-time wireless channel acquisition in diverse environments. Conventional statistical channel modeling relies on offline measurement data from limited environments, struggling to support online applications facing diverse environments. To this end, the digital twin channel (DTC) has emerged as a novel paradigm that constructs a digital replica of the physical environment through high-fidelity sensing and predicts corresponding channel in real time utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) models. As the engine of DTC, existing AI models struggle to simultaneously achieve strong environmental generalization in real-world and end-to-end channel prediction for real time tasks. Therefore, this paper proposes a channel large model (ChannelLM)-driven DTC architecture comprising three modules: low-complexity and high-accuracy environment reconstruction based on dynamic object detection and multimodal alignment of image and point cloud data, physically interpretable environment feature extraction, and a ChannelLM core to mapping these features into generalized environment representations for multi-task channel prediction. Simulation results demonstrate that, in unseen test environments, compared with small-scale AI models, ChannelLM reduces prediction errors by 4.23 dB in channel state information prediction while achieving an end-to-end inference latency of 70 milliseconds in the real world.

OmniHands: Towards Robust 4D Hand Mesh Recovery via A Versatile Transformer

In this paper, we introduce OmniHands, a universal approach to recovering interactive hand meshes and their relative movement from monocular or multi-view inputs. Our approach addresses two major limitations of previous methods: lacking a unified solution for handling various hand image inputs and neglecting the positional relationship of two hands within images. To overcome these challenges, we develop a universal architecture with novel tokenization and contextual feature fusion strategies, capable of adapting to a variety of tasks. Specifically, we propose a Relation-aware Two-Hand Tokenization (RAT) method to embed positional relation information into the hand tokens. In this way, our network can handle both single-hand and two-hand inputs and explicitly leverage relative hand positions, facilitating the reconstruction of intricate hand interactions in real-world scenarios. As such tokenization indicates the relative relationship of two hands, it also supports more effective feature fusion. To this end, we further develop a 4D Interaction Reasoning (FIR) module to fuse hand tokens in 4D with attention and decode them into 3D hand meshes and relative temporal movements. The efficacy of our approach is validated on several benchmark datasets. The results on in-the-wild videos and real-world scenarios demonstrate the superior performances of our approach for interactive hand reconstruction. Poisoning the Inner Prediction Logic of Graph Neural Networks for Clean-Label Backdoor Attacks

Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) have achieved remarkable results in various tasks. Recent studies reveal that graph backdoor attacks can poison the GNN model to predict test nodes with triggers attached as the target class. However, apart from injecting triggers to training nodes, these graph backdoor attacks generally require altering the labels of trigger-attached training nodes into the target class, which is impractical in real-world scenarios. In this work, we focus on the clean-label graph backdoor attack, a realistic but understudied topic where training labels are not modifiable. According to our preliminary analysis, existing graph backdoor attacks generally fail under the clean-label setting. Our further analysis identifies that the core failure of existing methods lies in their inability to poison the prediction logic of GNN models, leading to the triggers being deemed unimportant for prediction. Therefore, we study a novel problem of effective clean-label graph backdoor attacks by poisoning the inner prediction logic of GNN models. We propose BA-Logic to solve the problem by coordinating a poisoned node selector and a logic-poisoning trigger generator. Extensive experiments on real-world datasets demonstrate that our method effectively enhances the attack success rate and surpasses state-of-the-art graph backdoor attack competitors under clean-label settings. Integrated Channel Sounding and Communication: Requirements, Architecture, Challenges, and Key Technologies

Channel models are essential for the design, evaluation, and optimization of wireless communication systems. The emerging space-air-ground-sea integrated network (SAGSIN), characterized by diverse service applications and extended-spectrum operations, places even greater demands on highly accurate channel models. However, conventional channel sounding is limited by generalized measurement campaigns, inadequate cross-band consistency, and insufficient real-time adaptability, making it unable to meet the needs of SAGSIN for scenario-specific and high-precision channel modeling. To address this challenge, we propose a novel technological framework, termed integrated channel sounding and communication (ICSC). By deeply integrating sounding and communication, the ICSC enables efficient and real-time acquisition of dynamic channel characteristics during communication processes, supporting fine-grained site- and scenario-specific measurements. Furthermore, leveraging artificial intelligence techniques, ICSC can identify channel conditions and adapt waveform parameters in real-time according to scenario variations, which in turn enhances communication performance. This article first introduces the fundamental principles of the ICSC framework, elaborates on its core concepts and key advantages, and demonstrates its feasibility through the development of an integrated verification system (IVS). Subsequently, the potential applications and opportunities of the ICSC are analyzed in depth, followed by a discussion of its future development directions and remaining challenges.

Evaluate-as-Action: Self-Evaluated Process Rewards for Retrieval-Augmented Agents

Retrieval-augmented agents can query external evidence, yet their reliability in multi-step reasoning remains limited: noisy retrieval may derail multi-hop question answering, while outcome-only reinforcement learning provides credit signals that are too coarse to optimize intermediate steps. We propose \textsc{EvalAct} (Evaluate-as-Action), which converts implicit retrieval quality assessment into an explicit action and enforces a coupled Search-to-Evaluate protocol so that each retrieval is immediately followed by a structured evaluation score, yielding process signals aligned with the interaction trajectory. To leverage these signals, we introduce Process-Calibrated Advantage Rescaling (PCAR), a GRPO-based optimization method that rescales advantages at the segment level according to evaluation scores, emphasizing reliable segments while updating uncertain ones conservatively. Experiments on seven open-domain QA benchmarks show that \textsc{EvalAct} achieves the best average accuracy, with the largest gains on multi-hop tasks, and ablations verify that the explicit evaluation loop drives the primary improvements while PCAR provides consistent additional benefits.

World2Mind: Cognition Toolkit for Allocentric Spatial Reasoning in Foundation Models

Achieving robust spatial reasoning remains a fundamental challenge for current Multimodal Foundation Models (MFMs). Existing methods either overfit statistical shortcuts via 3D grounding data or remain confined to 2D visual perception, limiting both spatial reasoning accuracy and generalization in unseen scenarios. Inspired by the spatial cognitive mapping mechanisms of biological intelligence, we propose World2Mind, a training-free spatial intelligence toolkit. At its core, World2Mind leverages 3D reconstruction and instance segmentation models to construct structured spatial cognitive maps, empowering MFMs to proactively acquire targeted spatial knowledge regarding interested landmarks and routes of interest. To provide robust geometric-topological priors, World2Mind synthesizes an Allocentric-Spatial Tree (AST) that uses elliptical parameters to model the top-down layout of landmarks accurately. To mitigate the inherent inaccuracies of 3D reconstruction, we introduce a three-stage reasoning chain comprising tool invocation assessment, modality-decoupled cue collection, and geometry-semantics interwoven reasoning. Extensive experiments demonstrate that World2Mind boosts the performance of frontier models, such as GPT-5.2, by 5%~18%. Astonishingly, relying solely on the AST-structured text, purely text-only foundation models can perform complex 3D spatial reasoning, achieving performance approaching that of advanced multimodal models.

SCL-GNN: Towards Generalizable Graph Neural Networks via Spurious Correlation Learning

Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) have demonstrated remarkable success across diverse tasks. However, their generalization capability is often hindered by spurious correlations between node features and labels in the graph. Our analysis reveals that GNNs tend to exploit imperceptible statistical correlations in training data, even when such correlations are unreliable for prediction. To address this challenge, we propose the Spurious Correlation Learning Graph Neural Network (SCL-GNN), a novel framework designed to enhance generalization on both Independent and Identically Distributed (IID) and Out-of-Distribution (OOD) graphs. SCL-GNN incorporates a principled spurious correlation learning mechanism, leveraging the Hilbert-Schmidt Independence Criterion (HSIC) to quantify correlations between node representations and class scores. This enables the model to identify and mitigate irrelevant but influential spurious correlations effectively. Additionally, we introduce an efficient bi-level optimization strategy to jointly optimize modules and GNN parameters, preventing overfitting. Extensive experiments on real-world and synthetic datasets demonstrate that SCL-GNN consistently outperforms state-of-the-art baselines under various distribution shifts, highlighting its robustness and generalization capabilities.

UniTS: Unified Spatio-Temporal Generative Model for Remote Sensing

One of the primary objectives of satellite remote sensing is to capture the complex dynamics of the Earth environment, which encompasses tasks such as reconstructing continuous cloud-free image sequences, detecting land cover changes, and forecasting future surface evolution. However, existing methods typically require specialized models tailored to different tasks, and lack a general framework that can address these multi-level tasks from a unified perspective. In this paper, we propose a Unified Spatio-Temporal Generative Model (UniTS), which integrates several long-separated core tasks, including time series reconstruction, time series cloud removal, time series semantic change detection, and time series forecasting. Based on the flow matching generative paradigm, UniTS constructs a deterministic evolution path from noise to targets under the guidance of task-specific conditions, achieving unified modeling of spatiotemporal representations for multi-level tasks. The UniTS architecture consists of a diffusion transformer with spatiotemporal blocks, where we design an Adaptive Condition Injector (ACor) to enhance the model's conditional perception of multimodal inputs, enabling high-quality controllable generation. Additionally, we design a Spatiotemporal-aware Modulator (STM) to improve the ability of spatiotemporal blocks to capture complex spatiotemporal dependencies. It substantially outperforms existing specialized models, particularly under challenging conditions such as severe cloud contamination, modality absence, and forecasting complex phenological variations.

DISTINCT: A Description-Guided Branch-Consistency Analysis Framework for Non-Regressive Test Case Generation

Automated test-generation research overwhelmingly assumes the correctness of focal methods, yet practitioners routinely face non-regression scenarios where the focal method may be defective. A baseline evaluation of EVOSUITE and two leading Large Language Model (LLM)-based generators, namely CHATTESTER and CHATUNITEST, on defective focal methods reveals that, despite achieving up to 83% branch coverage, none of the generated tests expose defects, due to a lack of awareness of developer intent. To resolve this problem, we first construct two new benchmarks, namely Defects4J-Desc and QuixBugs-Desc, for experiments, where each focal method is equipped with an additional Natural Language Description (NLD) to support code functionality understanding. Subsequently, we propose DISTINCT, a description-guided branch-consistency analysis framework that transforms LLMs into fault-aware test generators. DISTINCT carries three iterative components: (1) a Generator that derives initial tests based on the NLDs and the focal method, (2) a Validator that iteratively fixes uncompilable tests using compiler diagnostics, and (3) an Analyzer that iteratively aligns test behavior with NLD semantics via branch-level analysis. Extensive experiments confirm the effectiveness of our approach. Compared to state-of-the-art approaches, DISTINCT achieves an average improvement of 14.64% in Compilation Success Rate (CSR), 6.66% in Passing Rate (PR), and particularly 95.22% in Defect Detection Rate (DDR) across both benchmarks. In terms of code coverage, DISTINCT improves Statement Coverage (SC) by an average of 3.77% and Branch Coverage (BC) by 5.36%. These results set a new baseline for non-regressive test generation and highlight how description-driven reasoning enables LLMs to move beyond coverage chasing toward effective defect detection.

CloSET: Modeling Clothed Humans on Continuous Surface with Explicit Template Decomposition

Creating animatable avatars from static scans requires the modeling of clothing deformations in different poses. Existing learning-based methods typically add pose-dependent deformations upon a minimally-clothed mesh template or a learned implicit template, which have limitations in capturing details or hinder end-to-end learning. In this paper, we revisit point-based solutions and propose to decompose explicit garment-related templates and then add pose-dependent wrinkles to them. In this way, the clothing deformations are disentangled such that the pose-dependent wrinkles can be better learned and applied to unseen poses. Additionally, to tackle the seam artifact issues in recent state-of-the-art point-based methods, we propose to learn point features on a body surface, which establishes a continuous and compact feature space to capture the fine-grained and pose-dependent clothing geometry. To facilitate the research in this field, we also introduce a high-quality scan dataset of humans in real-world clothing. Our approach is validated on two existing datasets and our newly introduced dataset, showing better clothing deformation results in unseen poses. PyMAF-X: Towards Well-aligned Full-body Model Regression from Monocular Images

We present PyMAF-X, a regression-based approach to recovering parametric full-body models from monocular images. This task is very challenging since minor parametric deviation may lead to noticeable misalignment between the estimated mesh and the input image. Moreover, when integrating part-specific estimations into the full-body model, existing solutions tend to either degrade the alignment or produce unnatural wrist poses. To address these issues, we propose a Pyramidal Mesh Alignment Feedback (PyMAF) loop in our regression network for well-aligned human mesh recovery and extend it as PyMAF-X for the recovery of expressive full-body models. The core idea of PyMAF is to leverage a feature pyramid and rectify the predicted parameters explicitly based on the mesh-image alignment status. Specifically, given the currently predicted parameters, mesh-aligned evidence will be extracted from finer-resolution features accordingly and fed back for parameter rectification. To enhance the alignment perception, an auxiliary dense supervision is employed to provide mesh-image correspondence guidance while spatial alignment attention is introduced to enable the awareness of the global contexts for our network. When extending PyMAF for full-body mesh recovery, an adaptive integration strategy is proposed in PyMAF-X to produce natural wrist poses while maintaining the well-aligned performance of the part-specific estimations. The efficacy of our approach is validated on several benchmark datasets for body, hand, face, and full-body mesh recovery, where PyMAF and PyMAF-X effectively improve the mesh-image alignment and achieve new state-of-the-art results. Step-DeepResearch Technical Report

As LLMs shift toward autonomous agents, Deep Research has emerged as a pivotal metric. However, existing academic benchmarks like BrowseComp often fail to meet real-world demands for open-ended research, which requires robust skills in intent recognition, long-horizon decision-making, and cross-source verification. To address this, we introduce Step-DeepResearch, a cost-effective, end-to-end agent. We propose a Data Synthesis Strategy Based on Atomic Capabilities to reinforce planning and report writing, combined with a progressive training path from agentic mid-training to SFT and RL. Enhanced by a Checklist-style Judger, this approach significantly improves robustness. Furthermore, to bridge the evaluation gap in the Chinese domain, we establish ADR-Bench for realistic deep research scenarios. Experimental results show that Step-DeepResearch (32B) scores 61.4% on Scale AI Research Rubrics. On ADR-Bench, it significantly outperforms comparable models and rivals SOTA closed-source models like OpenAI and Gemini DeepResearch. These findings prove that refined training enables medium-sized models to achieve expert-level capabilities at industry-leading cost-efficiency.

A Comprehensive Survey of 3GPP Release 19 ISAC Channel Modeling: From Empirical Features to Unified Methodology and Standardized Simulator

Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) has been identified as a key 6G application by ITU and 3GPP. Channel measurement and modeling is a prerequisite for ISAC system design and has attracted widespread attention from both academia and industry. 3GPP Release 19 initiated the ISAC channel study item in December 2023 and finalized its modeling specification in May 2025 after extensive technical discussions. However, a comprehensive survey that provides a systematic overview, from empirical channel features to modeling methodologies and standardized simulators, remains unavailable. In this paper, the key requirements and challenges in ISAC channel research are first analyzed, followed by a structured overview of the standardization workflow throughout the 3GPP Release 19 process. Then, critical aspects of ISAC channels, including physical objects, target channels, and background channels, are examined in depth, together with additional features such as spatial consistency, environment objects, Doppler characteristics, and shared clusters, supported by measurement-based analysis. To establish a unified ISAC channel modeling framework, an Extended Geometry-based Stochastic Model (E-GBSM) is proposed, incorporating all the aforementioned ISAC channel characteristics. Finally, a standardized simulator is developed based on E-GBSM, and a two-phase calibration procedure aligned with 3GPP Release 19 is conducted to validate both the model and the simulator, demonstrating close agreement with industrial reference results. Overall, this paper provides a systematic survey of 3GPP Release 19 ISAC channel standardization and offers insights into best practices for new feature characterization, unified modeling methodology, and standardized simulator implementation, which can effectively supporting ISAC technology evaluation and future 6G standardization.

TokenSqueeze: Performance-Preserving Compression for Reasoning LLMs

Emerging reasoning LLMs such as OpenAI-o1 and DeepSeek-R1 have achieved strong performance on complex reasoning tasks by generating long chain-of-thought (CoT) traces. However, these long CoTs result in increased token usage, leading to higher inference latency and memory consumption. As a result, balancing accuracy and reasoning efficiency has become essential for deploying reasoning LLMs in practical applications. Existing long-to-short (Long2Short) methods aim to reduce inference length but often sacrifice accuracy, revealing a need for an approach that maintains performance while lowering token costs. To address this efficiency-accuracy tradeoff, we propose TokenSqueeze, a novel Long2Short method that condenses reasoning paths while preserving performance and relying exclusively on self-generated data. First, to prevent performance degradation caused by excessive compression of reasoning depth, we propose to select self-generated samples whose reasoning depth is adaptively matched to the complexity of the problem. To further optimize the linguistic expression without altering the underlying reasoning paths, we introduce a distribution-aligned linguistic refinement method that enhances the clarity and conciseness of the reasoning path while preserving its logical integrity. Comprehensive experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of TokenSqueeze in reducing token usage while maintaining accuracy. Notably, DeepSeek-R1-Distill-Qwen-7B fine-tuned using our proposed method achieved a 50\% average token reduction while preserving accuracy on the MATH500 benchmark. TokenSqueeze exclusively utilizes the model's self-generated data, enabling efficient and high-fidelity reasoning without relying on manually curated short-answer datasets across diverse applications. Our code is available at https://github.com/zhangyx1122/TokenSqueeze.

Semantic-driven Wireless Environment Knowledge Representation for Efficiency-Accuracy Balanced Beam Prediction in Vehicular Networks

The rapid evolution of the internet of vehicles demands ultra-reliable low-latency communication in high-mobility environments, where conventional beam prediction methods suffer from high-dimensional inputs, prolonged training times, and limited interpretability. To address these challenges, the propagation environment semantics-aware wireless environment knowledge beam prediction (PES-WEKBP) framework is proposed. PES-WEKBP pioneers a novel electromagnetic (EM)-grounded knowledge distillation method, transforming raw visual data into an ultra-lean, interpretable material and location-related wireless environment knowledge matrix. This matrix explicitly encodes critical propagation environment semantics, which is material EM properties and spatial relationships through a physics-informed parameterization process, distilling the environment and channel interplay into a minimal yet information-dense representation. A lightweight decision network then leverages this highly compressed knowledge for low-complexity beam prediction. To holistically evaluate the performance of PES-WEKBP, we first design the prediction consistency-efficiency index (PCEI), which combines prediction accuracy with a stability-penalized logarithmic training time to ensure a balanced optimization of reliability and computational efficiency. Experiments validate that PES-WEKBP achieves a 99.75% to 99.96% dimension reduction and improves accuracy by 5.52% to 8.19%, which outperforms state-of-the-art methods in PCEI scores across diverse vehicular scenarios.

A Novel Multi-Reference-Point Modeling Framework for Monostatic Background Channel: Toward 3GPP ISAC Standardization

Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) has been identified as a key 6G application by ITU and 3GPP. A realistic, standard-compatible channel model is essential for ISAC system design. To characterize the impact of Sensing Targets (STs), 3GPP defines ISAC channel as a combination of target and background channels, comprising multipath components related to STs and those originating solely from the environment, respectively. Although the background channel does not carry direct ST information, its accurate modeling is critical for evaluating sensing performance, especially in complex environments. Existing communication standards characterize propagation between separated transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx). However, modeling background channels in the ISAC monostatic mode, where the Tx and Rx are co-located, remains a pressing challenge. In this paper, we firstly conduct ISAC monostatic background channel measurements for an indoor scenario at 28 GHz. Realistic channel parameters are extracted, revealing pronounced single-hop propagation and discrete multipath distribution. Inspired by these properties, a novel stochastic model is proposed to characterizing the ISAC monostatic background channel as the superposition of sub-channels between the monostatic Tx&Rx and multiple communication Rx-like Reference Points (RPs). This model is compatible with standardizations, and a 3GPP-extended implementation framework is introduced. Finally, a genetic algorithm-based method is proposed to extract the optimal number and placement of multi-RPs. The optimization approach and modeling framework are validated by comparing measured and simulated channel parameters. Results demonstrate that the proposed model effectively captures monostatic background channel characteristics, addresses a critical gap in ISAC channel modeling, and supports 6G standardization.

FinResearchBench: A Logic Tree based Agent-as-a-Judge Evaluation Framework for Financial Research Agents

Recently, AI agents are rapidly evolving in intelligence and widely used in professional research applications, such as STEM, software development, and finance. Among these AI agents, deep research agent is a key category as it can perform long-horizon tasks and solve problems of greater complexity. However, there are few evaluation frameworks and benchmarks that systematically and automatically investigate the capabilities of these research agents. In addition, financial research problems have distinct complexity and subtlety. To fill in the gap, we propose FinResearchBench, which is a logic tree-based Agent-as-a-Judge and targets specifically for the financial research agents. It provides a comprehensive and automatic assessment of the research agents across 7 key types of tasks in the financial research domain. The contributions of this work are two-folded: (1) the first and innovative Agent-as-a-Judge system that extracts the logic tree of the research outcome and uses it as the intermediate information to present a comprehensive, reliable, and robust evaluation; (2) finance-oriented that it covers 70 typical financial research questions, spreading across 7 frequently encountered types of task in the domain.

A Robust CSI-Based Scatterer Geometric Reconstruction Method for 6G ISAC System

Digital twin (DT) is a core enabler of sixth generation (6G) mobile systems. As a prerequisite for DT, scatterer geometric reconstruction (SGR) in propagation environments is essential but typically requires extra sensors such as cameras and LiDAR. With integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) in 6G, we reinterpret the linear sampling method (LSM) from a wireless channel viewpoint and propose a CSI based variant for sensor free SGR: by exploiting the shared channel characteristics of multipath and scattering, in band CSI replaces the scattered field measurements usually required by LSM. However, aperture limited arrays reduce LSM robustness. To address this, we propose matched filtering enhanced multi frequency LSM (MF MLSM). Multi frequency data increases frequency diversity, and matched filtering coherently aligns inter frequency phases to avoid artifacts, both of which improve robustness. Experiments with apertures of 93.6 deg, 144 deg, and 180 deg and SNRs of 27 dB and 12 dB demonstrate robust SGR with this approach.
