Bosonic String Amplitudes From Ribbon Graphs

We develop a method for numerically computing higher genus CFT correlators and string amplitudes based on Kontsevich's ribbon graph parametrization of the moduli space $\mathcal{M}_{g,n}$ of punctured Riemann surfaces. Using this method, we compute the compact boson partition function up to genus 6 as well as the moduli space integrand for bosonic string vacuum amplitudes up to genus 3. Our results pass a number of nontrivial numerical checks. In particular, the moduli space integrand of bosonic string amplitudes reproduce the Igusa cusp forms at genera 2 and 3.

Branes and Representations of DAHA $C^\vee C_1$: affine braid group action on category

We study the representation theory of the spherical double affine Hecke algebra (DAHA) of $C^\vee C_1$, using brane quantization. By showing a one-to-one correspondence between Lagrangian $A$-branes with compact support and finite-dimensional representations of the spherical DAHA, we provide evidence of derived equivalence between the $A$-brane category of $\mathrm{SL}(2,\mathbb{C})$-character variety of a four-punctured sphere and the representation category of DAHA of $C^\vee C_1$. The $D_4$ root system plays an essential role in understanding both the geometry and representation theory. In particular, this $A$-model approach reveals the action of an affine braid group of type $D_4$ on the category. As a by-product, our geometric investigation offers detailed information about the low-energy effective dynamics of the SU(2) $N_f=4$ Seiberg-Witten theory.

Automated Exploration of Reaction Network and Mechanism via Meta-dynamics Nanoreactor

We developed an automated approach to construct the complex reaction network and explore the reaction mechanism for several reactant molecules. The nanoreactor type molecular dynamics was employed to generate possible chemical reactions, in which the meta-dynamics was taken to overcome reaction barriers and the semi-empirical GFN2-xTB method was used to reduce computational cost. The identification of reaction events from trajectories was conducted by using the hidden Markov model based on the evolution of the molecular connectivity. This provided the starting points for the further transition state searches at the more accurate electronic structure levels to obtain the reaction mechanism. Then the whole reaction network with multiply pathways was obtained. The feasibility and efficiency of this automated construction of the reaction network was examined by two examples. The first reaction under study was the HCHO + NH3 biomolecular reaction. The second example focused on the reaction network for a multi-species system composed of dozens of HCN and H2O compounds. The result indicated that the proposed approach was a valuable and effective tool for the automated exploration of reaction networks.
