Hyponormal and subnormal dual Toeplitz operators
In this paper, we completely characterize hyponormal dual Toeplitz operators with general bounded measurable symbols by using the Douglas theorem in [R. G. Douglas, Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 17 (1966), 413-415]. As an application, the hyponormality of dual Toeplitz operators with radial symbols and polynomial symbols in $z$ and $\bar{z}$ is characterized concretely. Moreover, we obtain complete characterizations for both subnormal dual Toeplitz operators with harmonic polynomial symbols and $\varTheta$-class dual Toeplitz operators with bounded harmonic symbols.
