Collaborative Computation and Migration in Multi-UAV Networks with Semantic Communication

Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle (UAV)-assisted Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) is a key technology for future 6G networks, providing wide coverage and flexible computing services. However, the limited resources of UAVs and the dynamic changes in the network structure make it difficult to maintain high efficiency. Existing methods often ignore the semantic information of tasks and the complex relationships among UAVs and mobile terminals, resulting in poor coordination. This paper proposes a joint optimization framework for task offloading, task migration, and trajectory control in semantic communication-enabled multi-UAV edge computing systems, aiming to maximize semantic similarity while minimizing task latency and system energy consumption. To tackle the resultant problem, we develop a Heterogeneous Graph Attention Network-based Multi-Agent Twin Delayed Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (HAN-MATD3) algorithm. Specifically, we use a heterogeneous graph to model the network topology and apply HAN to extract important semantic features. These features are then integrated into the MATD3 framework to support joint optimization.

SemDPLA: Semantic Communication-based Distributed Physical-Layer Authentication for 6G-enabled Dense IoT

With the rapid development of 6G, increasingly dense device connectivity imposes more strict requirements on multi-users Physical-Layer Authentication (PLA). Compared with cryptography-based methods, PLA enables lightweight authentication by using the uniqueness of wireless channels. However, existing PLA schemes in dense wireless scenarios often suffer from weak fingerprint discriminability and limited computation and communication resources. To address these challenges, we propose a Semantic Communication-based Distributed PLA (SemDPLA) framework. The framework constructs fused central semantic Channel State Information (CSI) fingerprints by fusing semantic information from a central node and multiple distributed nodes. Specifically, we introduce semantic communication to reduce the impact of low Signal Noise Ratio (SNR) and the consumption of communication resource during the transmission from distributed nodes to central node. Furthermore, we propose an ArcFace-based classification method and a semantic fingerprint-oriented distributed voting consistency mechanism to enhance device classification accuracy. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed SemDPLA scheme performs better than single-node authentication, decision fusion, raw-CSI transmission, and feature fusion baselines. It achieves equal error rates (EERs) of 8.6% at 0 dB and 3.4% at 20 dB. It also achieves classification accuracies of 91.4% at 0 dB and above 95.8% from 5 to 20 dB. Moreover, SemDPLA is robust in low SNR environment and under attacks of abnormal nodes.

Agentic-SecPBFT: Agentic AI-Driven Proactive Security Framework for Wireless PBFT Consensus in Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks

The standard Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) protocol, designed for stable, wired environments, exhibits critical vulnerabilities when deployed in settings like mobile ad-hoc networks, thus making it susceptible to sophisticated threats such as Sybil attacks, Byzantine collusion, and message manipulation. Existing static defense mechanisms are ill-equipped to handle the intelligent and coordinated nature of these attacks. To address this challenge, this paper leverages the Agentic AI paradigm to build a distributed multi-agent system in which each consensus node is equipped with an intelligent agent. These agents employ a hierarchical Multi-Agent Deep Q-Network (MADQN) algorithm to learn and execute proactive security policies in real-time. By observing local network behavior, message consistency, and dynamically maintained reputation scores, the agents collaboratively identify suspicious behavior and recommend defensive actions under standard PBFT quorum and membership rules, thereby improving the integrity of the consensus process. We refer to the resulting framework as Agentic-SecPBFT. Then, we formally model key attack vectors and conduct extensive simulations. The results demonstrate that Agentic-SecPBFT reaches a 95.0% attack detection rate with a 1.8% false positive rate. Compared with mainstream PBFT variants, it achieves 3.1* higher throughput with 56% lower latency on average under 33% malicious nodes, offering a robust and adaptive security solution for decentralized wireless systems.

Evolving Intelligent Complex Systems via Intellicise Networks: Architecture, Technologies, and Pathways

Future engineering infrastructures are evolving into large-scale, open, heterogeneous, and wirelessly interconnected complex systems. These systems present significant challenges in optimizing network resource utilization, managing high-dimensional information spaces, and accommodating diverse business requirements. Intellicise networks, characterized by Intent-driven operation, semantic-native capability, and distributed intelligence, offer a promising paradigm for enabling such intelligent complex systems. We provide a systematic exploration of future intelligent complex systems from the perspective of intellicise networks. Specifically, we propose a cross-domain intelligent communication network architecture based on intellicise networks, grounded in information theory, systems theory, game theory, and cybernetics. The architecture comprises a cross-layer organizational framework, multi-functional planes, and novel information flows. The cross-layer framework defines the vertical evolution from perception and cognition to decision, while the control, user, data, computation, intelligence, and security planes deliver horizontal intellicise capabilities. Moreover, data, knowledge, model, and task flows interconnect the various layers and planes, forming a closed-loop process that derives simplicity from high-level intelligene while concurrently pursuing enhanced. Building on this architecture, we review key enabling technologies, tracing their evolution from semantic extraction to intent understanding, from heterogeneous resource integration to self-configuration and self-optimization, from generative artificial intelligence (AI) to agentic AI, and from embodied AI to symbodied AI. Additionally, we present a case study on intellicise networks for embodied agent communications and discuss representative applications and services for intelligent complex systems.

Collaborative Charging Optimization for Wireless Rechargeable Sensor Networks via Heterogeneous Mobile Chargers

Despite the rapid proliferation of Internet of Things applications driving widespread wireless sensor network (WSN) deployment, traditional WSNs remain fundamentally constrained by persistent energy limitations that severely restrict network lifetime and operational sustainability. Wireless rechargeable sensor networks (WRSNs) integrated with wireless power transfer (WPT) technology emerge as a transformative paradigm, theoretically enabling unlimited operational lifetime. In this paper, we investigate a heterogeneous mobile charging architecture that strategically combines an automated aerial vehicle (AAV) and a ground smart vehicle (SV) in heterogeneous deployment scenarios to collaboratively exploit the superior mobility of the AAV and extended endurance of the SV for energy distribution. We formulate a multi-objective optimization problem that simultaneously addresses the dynamic balance of heterogeneous charger advantages, charging efficiency versus mobility energy consumption trade-offs, and real-time adaptive coordination under time-varying network conditions. This problem presents significant computational challenges due to its high-dimensional continuous action space, non-convex optimization landscape, and dynamic environmental constraints. To address these challenges, we propose the improved heterogeneous agent trust region policy optimization (IHATRPO) algorithm that integrates a self-attention mechanism for enhanced complex environmental state processing and employs a Beta sampling strategy to achieve unbiased gradient computation in continuous action spaces. Simulation results demonstrate that IHATRPO achieves a 51% performance improvement over the original HATRPO, significantly outperforming state-of-the-art baseline algorithms while substantially decreasing sensor node mortality rate and improving charging system efficiency.

Wireless Copilot: An AI-Powered Partner for Navigating Next-Generation Wireless Complexity

The sixth-generation (6G) of wireless networks introduces a level of operational complexity that exceeds the limits of traditional automation and manual oversight. This paper introduces the "Wireless Copilot," an AI-powered technical assistant designed to function as a collaborative partner for human network designers, engineers, and operators. We posit that by integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with a robust cognitive framework. It will interact with wireless devices, transmitting the user's intentions into the actual network execution process. Then, Wireless Copilot can translate high-level human intent into precise, optimized, and verifiable network actions. This framework bridges the gap between human expertise and machine-scale complexity, enabling more efficient, intelligent, and trustworthy management of 6G systems. Wireless Copilot will be a novel layer between the wireless infrastructure and the network operators. Moreover, we explore \emph{Wireless Copilot}'s methodology and analyze its application in Low-Altitude Wireless Networks (LAWNets) assisting 6G, including network design, configuration, evaluation, and optimization. Additionally, we present a case study on intent-based LAWNets resource allocation, demonstrating its superior adaptability compared to others. Finally, we outline future directions toward creating a comprehensive human-AI collaborative ecosystem for the 6G.

Real-World Asset Integration in Next-Generation Communication Networks: Fundamental, Framework, and Case Study

Next-generation communication networks are characterized by integrated ultra-high reliability, ultra-low latency, massive connectivity, and ubiquitous coverage. However, this paradigm faces significant structural challenges of liquidity and security. Liquidity issues arise from prohibitive upfront costs of network resources, which strain the limited capital and financial flexibility. This also limits the deployment of the resource- and investment-intensive security solutions, bringing security issues. Security vulnerabilities arise from the decentralized architecture as well, particularly threats posed by Byzantine nodes. To address these dual challenges, we propose a novel framework utilizing Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization for tokenizing network resources. RWA tokenization uses blockchain to convert ownership rights of real-world assets into digital tokens that can be programmed, divided, and traded. We then analyze the criteria for identifying suitable assets. Through a case study on dynamic spectrum allocation, we demonstrate the superior performance of this RWA approach. Particularly under conditions of resource scarcity, it can exhibit strong resilience against collusion and default attacks. Finally, we delineate fruitful avenues for future research in this nascent field.

SkyChain Intelligence: A Blockchain-Secured Multi-Agent DRL Framework for Low-Altitude Embodied Artificial Intelligence

With the rapid development of the Low-Altitude Economy (LAE) ecosystem, Low-Altitude Embodied Artificial Intelligence (LAEAI) agents have become the core carriers of autonomous aerial services, thereby enabling dynamic Low-altitude Computility Networks (LACNets) for distributed computing resource sharing. However, resource-constrained LAEAI agents in decentralized LACNets face a fundamental trilemma of autonomy, security, and efficiency. Existing solutions primarily focus on either optimizing computational performance or enhancing security in isolation, failing to address the inherent trade-offs among trust, performance, and overhead in untrusted dynamic environments with malicious agents. To tackle this challenge, this paper proposes SkyChain Intelligence, a holistic framework that synergistically integrates agentic AI, consortium blockchain, and Multi-Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning (MADRL). We design a lightweight blockchain-based decentralized trust management system with a dynamic reputation mechanism and develop a hybrid-action-space MADDPG algorithm that embeds on-chain reputation scores into the reward function to jointly optimize offloading decisions, resource allocation, and drone 3D trajectories. Extensive simulations demonstrate that our framework outperforms state-of-the-art baselines in task completion latency and energy consumption, while achieving a 94.1% task completion rate in the baseline scenario and stable convergence within 300 training episodes. This work provides a viable path for building secure, autonomous, and efficient machine-to-machine computing ecosystems in the low-altitude domain.

DWM-RO: Decentralized World Models with Reasoning Offloading for SWIPT-enabled Satellite-Terrestrial HetNets

Wireless networks are undergoing a paradigm shift toward massive connectivity with energy-efficient operation, driving the integration of satellite-terrestrial architectures with simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT). Optimizing transmit beamforming and power splitting in such systems faces formidable challenges, e.g., time-varying channels and multi-tier interference, which create a complex decision landscape where conventional model-free multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) suffers from sample inefficiency due to rarely-encountered state transitions and poor coordination as decentralized agents act independently. This paper proposes the Decentralized World Model with Reasoning Offloading (DWM-RO) framework to address these fundamental limitations. Specifically, each agent employs a world model to learn compact predictive representations of environment dynamics, enabling imagination-based policy training that dramatically reduces required environment interactions. An uncertainty-aware offloading gate monitors local interference levels and model reconstruction errors to trigger selective edge coordination. When activated, a lightweight latent decorrelation mechanism at the edge refines agents' strategic representations, guiding them toward orthogonal actions that minimize resource conflicts. Extensive simulations demonstrate that DWM-RO converges 5 times faster than state-of-the-art baselines while achieving 34.7% higher spectral efficiency and reducing constraint violations by 40%. In dense network scenarios with 10 users, DWM-RO maintains violation rates below 20% while baselines exceed 70%, validating superior robustness.

STCC: A Unified Source-Channel Semantic Token Coding Framework for Semantic Communications

Deep Joint Source-Channel Coding (JSCC) has emerged as a promising paradigm for overcoming the ``cliff effect" in wireless communications. However, existing Deep JSCC frameworks operate directly on raw analog data such as image pixels rather than the discrete semantic tokens that foundation models require. Moreover, traditional systems employ fixed, hand-designed constellations that treat all tokens equally, leading to catastrophic random errors under channel noise. In this paper, the Semantic Token Codebook Communication (STCC) is proposed as a unified source-channel semantic token coding framework designed to transmit the discrete semantic tokens of foundation models over noisy channels. The core of STCC is the Semantic Token Codec (STC). It accepts discrete tokens as input, which maintains compatibility with foundation models while employing a residual multiple layer perceptron, i.e., MLP-based encoder that learns geometrically structured constellations optimized with a triple-loss objective. This learned mapping forces the channel topology to align with the semantic embedding space, ensuring that channel noise results in topological errors rather than random corruption. This phenomenon is theoretically and empirically characterized, identifying ``Semantic Drift" in symbolic modalities and ``Structural Distortion" in perceptual modalities, where errors shift predictions to semantically or structurally similar tokens. Extensive experiments demonstrate that STCC significantly outperforms traditional systems in low-SNR regimes, effectively converting channel noise into semantic variations without requiring receiver-side modification.

Efficient Onboard Vision-Language Inference in UAV-Enabled Low-Altitude Economy Networks via LLM-Enhanced Optimization

The rapid advancement of Low-Altitude Economy Networks (LAENets) has enabled a variety of applications, including aerial surveillance, environmental sensing, and semantic data collection. To support these scenarios, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) equipped with onboard vision-language models (VLMs) offer a promising solution for real-time multimodal inference. However, ensuring both inference accuracy and communication efficiency remains a significant challenge due to limited onboard resources and dynamic network conditions. In this paper, we first propose a UAV-enabled LAENet system model that jointly captures UAV mobility, user-UAV communication, and the onboard visual question answering (VQA) pipeline. Based on this model, we formulate a mixed-integer non-convex optimization problem to minimize task latency and power consumption under user-specific accuracy constraints. To solve the problem, we design a hierarchical optimization framework composed of two parts: (i) an Alternating Resolution and Power Optimization (ARPO) algorithm for resource allocation under accuracy constraints, and (ii) a Large Language Model-augmented Reinforcement Learning Approach (LLaRA) for adaptive UAV trajectory optimization. The large language model (LLM) serves as an expert in refining reward design of reinforcement learning in an offline fashion, introducing no additional latency in real-time decision-making. Numerical results demonstrate the efficacy of our proposed framework in improving inference performance and communication efficiency under dynamic LAENet conditions.

IPRU: Input-Perturbation-based Radio Frequency Fingerprinting Unlearning for LAWNs

Radio Frequency Fingerprinting (RFF) is a key technology for identity authentication in wireless networks. However, due to the rapid dynamics of Autonomous Aerial Vehicles (AAVs) in low-altitude wireless networks, RFF models require parameter updates to maintain authentication performance, posing a major challenge to existing schemes. Conventional retraining approaches for handling departed or compromised AAVs are computationally prohibitive and risk retaining polluted features, which compromises both authentication security and user privacy. To address these limitations, we propose an Input-Perturbation-based RFF Unlearning (IPRU) scheme. By optimizing a universal Fingerprint Forget Vector (FFV) as a lightweight input perturbation, IPRU successfully erases the fingerprints of target AAVs without modifying the RFF model parameters, achieving an effective balance between efficient unlearning and preserved authentication performance. A combinatorial optimization strategy further enables multi-AAV forgetting on demand. The simulation results demonstrate that IPRU achieves 1.41% unlearning accuracy, 99.41% remaining accuracy, and 100% resistance to membership inference attack, while running 5.79X faster than retraining and 2.1X faster than the baseline scheme.

Towards Semantic-based Agent Communication Networks: Vision, Technologies, and Challenges

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) identifies "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Communication" as one of six key usage scenarios for 6G. Agentic AI, characterized by its ca-pabilities in multi-modal environmental sensing, complex task coordination, and continuous self-optimization, is anticipated to drive the evolution toward agent-based communication net-works. Semantic communication (SemCom), in turn, has emerged as a transformative paradigm that offers task-oriented efficiency, enhanced reliability in complex environments, and dynamic adaptation in resource allocation. However, comprehensive reviews that trace their technologi-cal evolution in the contexts of agent communications remain scarce. Addressing this gap, this paper systematically explores the role of semantics in agent communication networks. We first propose a novel architecture for semantic-based agent communication networks, structured into three layers, four entities, and four stages. Three wireless agent network layers define the logical structure and organization of entity interactions: the intention extraction and understanding layer, the semantic encoding and processing layer, and the distributed autonomy and collabora-tion layer. Across these layers, four AI agent entities, namely embodied agents, communication agents, network agents, and application agents, coexist and perform distinct tasks. Furthermore, four operational stages of semantic-enhanced agentic AI systems, namely perception, memory, reasoning, and action, form a cognitive cycle guiding agent behavior. Based on the proposed architecture, we provide a comprehensive review of the state-of-the-art on how semantics en-hance agent communication networks. Finally, we identify key challenges and present potential solutions to offer directional guidance for future research in this emerging field.

Leveraging Large Vision Model for Multi-UAV Co-perception in Low-Altitude Wireless Networks

Multi-uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) cooperative perception has emerged as a promising paradigm for diverse low-altitude economy applications, where complementary multi-view observations are leveraged to enhance perception performance via wireless communications. However, the massive visual data generated by multiple UAVs poses significant challenges in terms of communication latency and resource efficiency. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a communication-efficient cooperative perception framework, termed Base-Station-Helped UAV (BHU), which reduces communication overhead while enhancing perception performance. Specifically, we employ a Top-K selection mechanism to identify the most informative pixels from UAV-captured RGB images, enabling sparsified visual transmission with reduced data volume and latency. The sparsified images are transmitted to a ground server via multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO), where a Swin-large-based MaskDINO encoder extracts bird's-eye-view (BEV) features and performs cooperative feature fusion for ground vehicle perception. Furthermore, we develop a diffusion model-based deep reinforcement learning (DRL) algorithm to jointly select cooperative UAVs, sparsification ratios, and precoding matrices, achieving a balance between communication efficiency and perception utility. Simulation results on the Air-Co-Pred dataset demonstrate that, compared with traditional CNN-based BEV fusion baselines, the proposed BHU framework improves perception performance by over 5% while reducing communication overhead by 85%, providing an effective solution for multi-UAV cooperative perception under resource-constrained wireless environments.

Knowledge-driven Reasoning for Mobile Agentic AI: Concepts, Approaches, and Directions

Mobile agentic AI is extending autonomous capabilities to resource-constrained platforms such as edge robots and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), where strict size, weight, power, and cost (SWAP-C) constraints and intermittent wireless connectivity limit both on-device computation and cloud access. Existing approaches mostly optimize per-round communication efficiency, yet mobile agents must sustain competence across a stream of tasks. We propose a knowledge-driven reasoning framework that extracts reusable decision structures from past execution, synchronizes them over bandwidth-limited links, and injects them into on-device reasoning to reduce latency, energy, and error accumulation. A DIKW-inspired taxonomy distinguishes raw observations, episode-scoped traces, and persistent cross-task knowledge, and categorizes knowledge into retrieval, structured, procedural, and parametric representations, each with a distinct tradeoff between reasoning speedup and failure risk. A key finding is that knowledge exposure is non-monotonic: too little forces costly trial-and-error replanning, while too much introduces conflicting cues and errors. A UAV case study validates the framework, where a compact knowledge pack synchronized over intermittent backhaul enables a 3B-parameter onboard model to achieve perfect mission reliability with lower reasoning cost than both knowledge-free on-device reasoning and cloud-centric replanning.

Federated Agentic AI for Wireless Networks: Fundamentals, Approaches, and Applications

Agentic artificial intelligence (AI) presents a promising pathway toward realizing autonomous and self-improving wireless network services. However, resource-constrained, widely distributed, and data-heterogeneous nature of wireless networks poses significant challenges to existing agentic AI that relies on centralized architectures, leading to high communication overhead, privacy risks, and non-independent and identically distributed (non-IID) data. Federated learning (FL) has the potential to improve the overall loop of agentic AI through collaborative local learning and parameter sharing without exchanging raw data. This paper proposes new federated agentic AI approaches for wireless networks. We first summarize fundamentals of agentic AI and mainstream FL types. Then, we illustrate how each FL type can strengthen a specific component of agentic AI's loop. Moreover, we conduct a case study on using FRL to improve the performance of agentic AI's action decision in low-altitude wireless networks (LAWNs). Finally, we provide a conclusion and discuss future research directions.

Image Steganography For Securing Intellicise Wireless Networks: "Invisible Encryption" Against Eavesdroppers

As one of the most promising technologies for intellicise (intelligent and consice) wireless networks, Semantic Communication (SemCom) significantly improves communication efficiency by extracting, transmitting, and recovering semantic information, while reducing transmission delay. However, an integration of communication and artificial intelligence (AI) also exposes SemCom to security and privacy threats posed by intelligent eavesdroppers. To address this challenge, image steganography in SemCom embeds secret semantic features within cover semantic features, allowing intelligent eavesdroppers to decode only the cover image. This technique offers a form of "invisible encryption" for SemCom. Motivated by these advancements, this paper conducts a comprehensive exploration of integrating image steganography into SemCom. Firstly, we review existing encryption techniques in SemCom and assess the potential of image steganography in enhancing its security. Secondly, we delve into various image steganographic paradigms designed to secure SemCom, encompassing three categories of joint source-channel coding (JSCC) models tailored for image steganography SemCom, along with multiple training strategies. Thirdly, we present a case study to illustrate the effectiveness of coverless steganography SemCom. Finally, we propose future research directions for image steganography SemCom.

IGAA: Intent-Driven General Agentic AI for Edge Services Scheduling using Generative Meta Learning

Agentic AI (AAI), which extends Large Language Models with enhanced reasoning capabilities, has emerged as a promising paradigm for autonomous edge service scheduling. However, user mobility creates highly dynamic service demands in edge networks, and existing service scheduling agents often lack generalization capabilities for new scenarios. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel Intent-Driven General Agentic AI (IGAA) framework. Leveraging a meta-learning paradigm, IGAA enables AAI to continuously learn from prior service scheduling experiences to achieve generalized scheduling capabilities. Particularly, IGAA incorporates three core mechanisms. First, we design a Network-Service-Intent matrix mapping method to allow agents to simulate novel scenarios and generate training datasets. Second, we present an easy-to-hard generalization learning scheme with two customized algorithms, namely Resource Causal Effect-aware Transfer Learning (RCETL) and Action Potential Optimality-aware Transfer Learning (APOTL). These algorithms help IGAA adapt to new scenarios. Furthermore, to prevent catastrophic forgetting during continual IGAA learning, we propose a Generative Intent Replay (GIR) mechanism that synthesizes historical service data to consolidate prior capabilities. Finally, to mitigate the effect of LLM hallucinations on scenario simulation, we incorporate a scenario evaluation and correction model to guide agents in generating rational scenarios and datasets. Extensive experiments demonstrate IGAA's strong generalization and scalability. Specifically, IGAA enables rapid adaptation by transferring learned policies to analogous new ones, such as applying latency-sensitive patterns from real-time computing to optimize novel Internet of Vehicles (IoV) services. Compared to scenario-specific methods, IGAA maintains the intent-satisfaction rate gap within 3.81%.
