The Quantum KKL Inequality

In this paper, we resolve the quantum KKL conjecture of Montanaro and Osborne \cite{MO2010} for quantum Boolean functions on the $n$-qubit hypercube. More precisely, for every self-adjoint unitary $T$, we bound the largest $L_2$-influence from below by a constant multiple of $\mathrm{Var}(T)\log(n)/n$. The proof heavily depends on upper and lower commutator estimates on the Hilbert space.

Acoustic Filtering and Pressure Recovery for a Two-Parameter Hyperbolic Relaxation of the Incompressible Navier--Stokes Equations

We study a two-parameter first-order hyperbolic relaxation approximation of the incompressible Navier--Stokes equations on the two-dimensional torus. Existing derivative-level large-perturbation estimates recover the velocity but control the pressure only after multiplication by the square root of the artificial-compressibility parameter. We isolate the corresponding acoustic oscillation by introducing a non-autonomous acoustic--stress corrector. Two compensated variables reveal a physical-space cancellation which yields an integrated gradient estimate for the velocity corrector. The two-dimensional Ladyzhenskaya inequality then gives a quadratic bound for its self-interaction. After the corrector is removed, the remaining nonlinear error has zero initial data and is controlled at the next order. If the relaxation parameters $ε$ and $δ$ satisfy $δ^2\llε\leqμ_*δ$, we prove strong recovery of the filtered pressure in $L^\infty(0,T;L^2(\mathbb T^2))$. Quantitatively, the filtered pressure and velocity errors are bounded by $C_Tδ/\sqrtε$ and $C_Tδ$, respectively. The argument also clarifies why strong convergence of the unfiltered pressure cannot in general be expected for ill-prepared acoustic data.

Quantum KKL-type Inequalities Revisited

In the present paper, we develop the random restriction method in the quantum framework. By applying this method, we establish the quantum Eldan-Gross inequality, the quantum Talagrand isoperimetric inequality, and related quantum KKL-type inequalities. Our results recover some recent results of Rouzé et al. \cite{RWZ2024} and Jiao et al. \cite{JLZ2025}, which can be viewed as alternative answers to the quantum KKL conjecture proposed by Motanaro and Osborne in \cite{MO2010}.
