Trivial zeros of zeta functions of type $\mathrm{A}_r$

In this paper, we investigate the values of zeta functions of root systems at non-positive integer points. In particular, we focus on the zeta functions of type $\mathrm{A}_r$. Since non-positive integer points are included in the set of singularities of zeta functions of root systems, we introduce the \emph{ordered limit values} to define those values. We study four particular ordered limit values and give explicit formulas for them, or recurrence formulas that allow us to calculate them inductively. We then prove that three ordered limit values of zeta functions of type $\mathrm{A}_r$ vanish under some conditions that can be regarded as a multivariable analogue of the trivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function. Finally, we discuss the other zeros of zeta functions of type $\mathrm{A}_r$ at non-positive integer points and a possible connection of such zeros and non-trivial identities among classical Eisenstein series.

Hilbert Forest in the SISAP 2025 Indexing Challenge

We report our participation in the SISAP 2025 Indexing Challenge using a novel indexing technique called the Hilbert forest. The method is based on the fast Hilbert sort algorithm, which efficiently orders high-dimensional points along a Hilbert space-filling curve, and constructs multiple Hilbert trees to support approximate nearest neighbor search. We submitted implementations to both Task 1 (approximate search on the PUBMED23 dataset) and Task 2 (k-nearest neighbor graph construction on the GOOAQ dataset) under the official resource constraints of 16 GB RAM and 8 CPU cores. The Hilbert forest demonstrated competitive performance in Task 1 and achieved the fastest construction time in Task 2 while satisfying the required recall levels. These results highlight the practical effectiveness of Hilbert order-based indexing under strict memory limitations.

Stirling polynomials and multiple zeta (star) functions at non-positive integers

It is known that the values of multiple zeta functions (MZFs) at non-positive integers can be expressed by Bernoulli numbers. This paper gives explicit formulas for the values of MZFs and multiple zeta star functions (MZSFs) at non-positive integers using Stirling polynomials. We also study the following two points: a connection between MZFs and MZSFs at non-positive integers and a connection between reverse values and generalized Gregory coefficients studied by Matsusaka, Murahara, and Onozuka.

Shuffle product for multiple zeta functions

In this paper, we investigate the shuffle product relations for Euler-Zagier multiple zeta functions as functional relations. To this end, we generalize the classical partial fraction decomposition formula and give two proofs. One is based on a connection formula for Gauss's hypergeometric functions, the other one is based on an elementary calculus. Though it is hard to write down explicit formula of the shuffle product relations for multiple zeta functions as in the case of multiple zeta values, we will provide inductive steps by using the zeta-functions of root systems. As an application, we get the functional double shuffle relations for multiple zeta functions and show that some relations for multiple zeta values/functions can be deduced from our results.

Multiple zeta functions at regular integer points

We show the recurrence relations of the Euler-Zagier multiple zeta-function which describes the $r$-fold function with one variable specialized to a non-positive integer as a rational linear combination of $(r-1)$-fold functions, which extends the previous results of Akiyama-Egami-Tanigawa and Matsumoto. As an application, we obtain an explicit method to calculate the special values of the multiple zeta-function at any integer point (the arguments could be neither all-positive nor all-non-positive) as a rational linear summation of the multiple zeta values.
