Symmetry, uniqueness and nondegeneracy of positive solutions of the Choquard equation

We study positive solutions $Q\in H^1(\mathbb R^N)$ of \[-ΔQ+Q=(I_α*Q^p)Q^{p-1},\] where $I_α$ is the Riesz potential of order $α$, $N\ge1$, $0<α 1+α/N$, and $(N-2)p<N+α$. We prove that every such solution is radially symmetric and strictly decreasing about some point. For $p\ge2$, we establish uniqueness up to translations and show that the real linearized operator has Morse index one and kernel spanned by $\partial_1Q,\ldots,\partial_NQ$. The symmetry proof uses the method of moving planes. Uniqueness follows from nondegeneracy and compactness through a continuation argument.

Sharp Quantitative Stability for the Affine $p$-Sobolev Inequality, Part II: The Case $1<p<2$

We prove a sharp quantitative stability result for the affine $L^p$-Sobolev inequality, for $1<p<2$, introduced by Lutwak--Yang--Zhang (\emph{J. Differential Geom.}, \textbf{62} (2002),17--38). Moreover, the stability exponent is shown to be optimal, and equal to $2$.

Sharp Stability for the Affine Fractional Sobolev Inequality

In this paper, we prove a sharp quantitative stability result for the affine fractional $L^2$-Sobolev inequality in $\dot H^s(\mathbb R^n)$, $0<s<1$, introduced by Haddad--Ludwig (\emph{Math. Ann.} \textbf{388} (2024), 1091--1115). In particular, we identify the kernel of the affine Hessian, determine the sharp local spectral gap, and show that the optimal global stability constant is strictly smaller than the corresponding local spectral value.
