Degenerations of the fourth order $q$-Garnier system arising from confluences in quivers

The $q$-Garnier system was first proposed by Sakai, and alternative directions for its discrete time evolutions were provided by Nagao and Yamada. Recently, it was shown that all of those evolution directions are derived from a birational representation of an extended affine Weyl group which arises from the cluster algebraic construction established by Masuda, Okubo and Tsuda. In this article, we investigate a degeneration structure of the fourth order $q$-Garnier system by using confluences in quivers.

A solution in terms of mock modular forms for the $q$-Painlev\'{e} equation of the type $(A_2+A_1)^{(1)}$

We present a solution of the $(A_2+A_1)^{(1)}$ $q$-Painlev\'{e} equation in terms of the $\mu$-function. The $\mu$-function introduced by Zwegers is the most fundamental object in the study of mock theta functions. The results of this paper give us an expectation that the theory of mock modular forms and the $\tau$-functions of discrete integrable systems are closely related.

$q$-difference equations satisfied by the universal mock theta functions

In this paper, we give fundamental solutions of some $q$-difference equations satisfied by the universal mock theta functions and the higher level Appell functions. As an application, we provide an alternative proof of the representation formulas of the universal mock theta functions and the higher level Appell functions using Zwegers' $\mu$-function.

The generalized Zwegers' $\mu$-function and transformation formulas for the bilateral basic hypergeometric series

By applying Slater's transformation formulas for the bilateral basic hypergeometric series ${}_2\psi_{2}$, we derive three type translation formulas for the generalized Zwegers' $\mu$-function (``continuous $q$-Hermite function'') which was introduced by Shibukawa--Tsuchimi (SIGMA, 2023). From some Bailey's transformation formula of ${}_2\psi_{2}$, we also give a formula for the expression of the generalized Zwegers' $\mu$-function by some very-well-poised bilateral basic hypergeometric series ${}_4\psi_{8}$. As an application of this new expression formula for the generalized Zwegers' $\mu$-function, we obtain some new Fourier expansions for the Weierstrass and Jacobi elliptic functions.

A Generalization of Zwegers' $\mu$-Function According to the $q$-Hermite-Weber Difference Equation

We introduce a one parameter deformation of the Zwegers' $\mu$-function as the image of $q$-Borel and $q$-Laplace transformations of a fundamental solution for the $q$-Hermite-Weber equation. We further give some formulas for our generalized $\mu$-function, for example, forward and backward shift, translation, symmetry, a difference equation for the new parameter, and bilateral $q$-hypergeometric expressions. From one point of view, the continuous $q$-Hermite polynomials are some special cases of our $\mu$-function, and the Zwegers' $\mu$-function is regarded as a continuous $q$-Hermite polynomial of ''$-1$ degree''.
