Geometric Dynamics of Consumer Credit Cycles: A Multivector-based Linear-Attention Framework for Explanatory Economic Analysis

This study introduces geometric algebra to decompose credit system relationships into their projective (correlation-like) and rotational (feedback-spiral) components. We represent economic states as multi-vectors in Clifford algebra, where bivector elements capture the rotational coupling between unemployment, consumption, savings, and credit utilization. This mathematical framework reveals interaction patterns invisible to conventional analysis: when unemployment and credit contraction enter simultaneous feedback loops, their geometric relationship shifts from simple correlation to dangerous rotational dynamics that characterize systemic crises.

Positive-, negative-, and orthogonal-phase-velocity propagation of electromagnetic plane waves in a simply moving medium

Planewave propagation in a simply moving, dielectric-magnetic medium that is isotropic in the co-moving reference frame, is classified into three different categories: positive-, negative-, and orthogonal-phase-velocity (PPV, NPV, and OPV). Calculations from the perspective of an observer located in a non-co-moving reference frame show that, whether the nature of planewave propagation is PPV or NPV (or OPV in the case of nondissipative mediums) depends strongly upon the magnitude and direction of that observer's velocity relative to the medium. PPV propagation is characterized by a positive real wavenumber, NPV propagation by a negative real wavenumber. OPV propagation only occurs for nondissipative mediums, but weakly dissipative mediums can support nearly OPV propagation.

A short note on climbing gravity improbable: Superradiant ring fellowship of launching the high Lorentz-factor outflows/jets

The spin energy extraction from a rotating black hole by amplification of scalar waves inside superradiance resonance wedge cavity (ring), followed by jet formation via magnetic reconnection assisted by the amplified scalar fields, is proposed. This mechanism may explain the availability of energy for as well as the formation of relativistic jets with high Lorentz-factor in microquasars and quasars. It is speculated that it may also explain that the spin of the central black hole, which facilitates the formation of superradiance cavity, which in turn would produce the amplified scalar waves by taking the hole's spin energy, is the source for the distinction between radio-loud and radio-quiet active galaxies.

Electromagnetic waves with negative phase velocity in Schwarzschild-de Sitter spacetime

The propagation of electromagnetic plane waves with negative phase velocity (NPV) is considered in Schwarzschild-(anti-)de Sitter spacetime. It is demonstrated that NPV propagation occurs in Schwarzschild-de Sitter spacetime at lower values of the cosmological constant than is the case for de Sitter spacetime. Furthermore, we report that neither is NPV propagation observed in Schwarzschild-anti-de Sitter spacetime, nor is it possible outside the event horizon of a Schwarzschild blackhole.

Mapping of electromagnetic negative-phase-velocity propagation in the ergosphere of a rotating black hole

We report on the occurrence of negative-phase-velocity (NPV) planewave propagation in the ergosphere of a rotating black hole. By implementing the Kerr metric, it is demonstrated that regions of NPV propagation are concentrated at the equator of the ergosphere, while NPV propagation is less common towards the polar regions. Increasing the angular velocity of the black hole exaggerates the NPV concentration at the equator. NPV propagation is not observed outside the stationary limit surface.

Gravitation and Electromagnetic Wave Propagation with Negative Phase Velocity

Gravitation has interesting consequences for plane wave propagation in a vacuum. The propagation of plane waves with phase velocity directed opposite to the the time-averaged Poynting vector is investigated for a generally curved spacetime. Conditions for such negative-phase-velocity (NPV) propagation are established in terms of the metric components for general and special cases. The negative energy density implications of NPV propagation are discussed.

Global and local perspectives of gravitationally assisted negative-phase-velocity propagation of electromagnetic waves in vacuum

Consistently with the Einstein equivalence principle and using an electromagnetic formulation first suggested by Tamm, we show that a local observer cannot observe negative-phase-velocity (NPV) propagation of electromagnetic waves in vacuum, whereas a global observer can appreciate that phenomenon. Using the specific example of the Kerr metric, we also demonstrate the possibility of NPV propagation within the ergosphere of a rotating black hole.

Negative phase velocity of electromagnetic waves and the cosmological constant

Examining the propagation of electromagnetic plane waves with the wavevector directed in opposition to the time-averaged Poynting vector in cosmological spacetime with piecewise uniform metric, we show that such negative-phase-velocity (NPV) propagation is possible in certain de Sitter spacetimes but not in anti-de Sitter spacetimes. This difference suggests the possibility of an optical/electromagnetic experiment to discern the cosmological constant of a four-dimensional universe stemming from a five-dimensional brane universe.
