Poisson process and sharp constants in Lp and Schauder estimates for a class of degenerate Kolmogorov operators

We consider a possibly degenerate Kolmogorov-Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator of the form L = Tr(BD 2) + Az, D , where A, B are N x N matrices, z $\in$ R N , N $\ge$ 1, which satisfy the Kalman condition which is equivalent to the hypoellipticity condition. We prove the following stability result: the Schauder and Sobolev estimates associated with the corresponding parabolic Cauchy problem remain valid, with the same constant, for the parabolic Cauchy problem associated with a second order perturbation of L, namely for L + Tr(S(t)D 2) where S(t) is a non-negative N x N matrix depending continuously on t $\ge$ 0. Our approach relies on the perturbative technique based on the Poisson process introduced in [15].

Weak well-posedness for degenerate SDEs driven by L\'evy processes

In this article, we study the effects of the propagation of a non-degenerate L\'evy noise through a chain of deterministic differential equations whose coefficients are H\"older continuous and satisfy a weak H\"ormander-like condition. In particular, we assume some non-degeneracy with respect to the components which transmit the noise. Moreover, we characterize, for some specific dynamics, through suitable counterexamples , the almost sharp regularity exponents that ensure the weak well-posedness for the associated SDE. As a by-product of our approach, we also derive some Krylov-type estimates for the density of the weak solutions of the considered SDE.

Density and gradient estimates for non degenerate Brownian SDEs with unbounded measurable drift

We consider non degenerate Brownian SDEs with H{ö}lder continuous in space diffusion coefficient and unbounded drift with linear growth. We derive two sided bounds for the associated density and pointwise controls of its derivatives up to order two under some additional spatial H{ö}lder continuity assumptions on the drift. Importantly, the estimates reflect the transport of the initial condition by the unbounded drift through an auxiliary, possibly regularized, flow.

$L^$p Estimates For Degenerate Non-Local Kolmogorov Operators

Let $z = (x,y) \in {\mathbb R}^d \times {\mathbb R}^{N-d}$, with $1 \le d < N$. We prove a priori estimates of the following type :$$\|Δ\_{x}^{\frac α2} v \|\_{L^p({\mathbb R}^N)} \lec\_p\Big \| L\_{x } v + \sum\_{i,j=1}^{N}a\_{ij}z\_{i}\partial\_{z\_{j}} v \Big \|\_{L^p({\mathbb R}^N)}, \;\; 1<p<\infty,$$for $v \in C\_0^{\infty}({\mathbb R}^N)$,where $L\_x$ is a non-local operator comparable with the ${\mathbb R}^d $-fractional Laplacian $Δ\_{x}^{\frac α2}$ in terms of symbols, $α\in (0,2)$. We require that when $L\_x$ is replaced by the classical ${\mathbb R}^d$-Laplacian $Δ\_{x}$, i.e., in the limit local case $α=2$, the operator$ Δ\_{x} + \sum\_{i,j=1}^{N}a\_{ij}z\_{i}\partial\_{z\_{j}} $ satisfy a weak type Hörmander condition with invariance by suitable dilations. {Such} estimates were only known for $α=2$. This is one of the first results on $L^p $ estimates for degenerate non-local operators under Hörmander type conditions. We complete our result on $L^p$-regularity for $ L\_{x } + \sum\_{i,j=1}^{N}a\_{ij}z\_{i}\partial\_{z\_{j}} $ by proving estimates like\begin{equation*} \|Δ\_{y\_i}^{\frac {α\_i} {2}} v \|\_{L^p({\mathbb R}^N)} \lec\_p \Big \| L\_{x } v + \sum\_{i,j=1}^{N}a\_{ij}z\_{i}\partial\_{z\_{j}} v \Big \|\_{L^p({\mathbb R}^N)},\end{equation*}involving fractional Laplacians in the degenerate directions $y\_i$ (here $α\_i \in (0, { {1\wedge α}})$ depends on $α$ and on the numbers of commutators needed to obtain the $y\_i$-direction). The last estimates are new even in the local limit case $α=2$ which is also considered.

Weak Error for Continuous Time Markov Chains Related to Fractional in Time P(I)DEs

We provide sharp error bounds for the difference between the transition densities of some multidimensional Continuous Time Markov Chains (CTMC) and the fundamental solutions of some fractional in time Partial (Integro) Differential Equations (P(I)DEs). Namely, we consider equations involving a time fractional derivative of Caputo type and a spatial operator corresponding to the generator of a non degenerate Brownian or stable driven Stochastic Differential Equation (SDE).
