On some components of $L(\rho)\otimes L(\rho)$ associated with rooted trees for symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebras

Let $\mathfrak{g}$ be a symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebra over $\mathbb{C}$ and let $L(\rho)$ be the irreducible integrable $\mathfrak{g}$-module with highest weight $\rho$. Let $I$ be a subgraph of the Dynkin diagram of $\mathfrak{g}$ which has only simple bonds and no cycle of length $\geq 3$. For every subset $D$ of $I$, denote by $\beta_D$ the sum of the simple roots corresponding to $D$. To every $D \subset I$ such that $\lambda_{D,I} = 2\rho - \beta_I - \beta_D$ is dominant, we associate certain elements $\pi_{D,I}$ of weight $\lambda_{D,I} {-} \rho$ in the crystal $B(\rho)$, which depend on the choice of a root vertex in each connected component of $I$. Then we prove that our elements are $\rho$-dominant elements of $B(\rho)$, hence provide new families of components of the tensor product $L(\rho)\otimes L(\rho)$.

Components of $V(m\rho) \otimes V(n\rho)$

Let $\mathfrak{g}$ be a symmetrizable Kac-Moody Lie algebra and let $\rho$ denote the sum of the fundamental weights. The irreducible highest weight representations $V(m\rho)$ occupy a distinguished position in representation theory due to their rich symmetry and geometric significance. In this paper, we study the tensor products \[ V(m\rho)\otimes V(n\rho), \quad m,n \in \mathbb{N}, \] and investigate the structure of their irreducible decompositions. Motivated by the classical conjecture of Kostant, which predicts a highly structured behavior in simpler settings, we propose a general framework describing the irreducible components appearing in such tensor products for finite-dimensional semisimple or affine Kac-Moody Lie algebras $\mathfrak{g}$. Our results identify a family of dominant weights governing the decomposition and provide criteria for their occurrence. This work extends the scope of Kostant-type phenomena and reveals new structural patterns in tensor products associated with multiples of the Weyl vector.

Chebyshev quotients, Demazure multiplicities, and Dyck-path models

We study Chebyshev quotients that arise in the representation theory of Lie algebras, specifically within the theory of Demazure flags for fusion products of $\mathfrak{sl}_2[t]$-modules. Using a recent formula that expresses numerical Demazure multiplicities as coefficients of such quotients, we prove a general eventual non-negativity theorem for the same rational functions that compute these multiplicities: each quotient either terminates or has strictly positive coefficients for sufficiently large degrees, which we in turn interpret in terms of matchings and bounded walks. In several natural infinite families, these are unsigned bounded Dyck path models, giving both a structural explanation for the observed positivity phenomenon and concrete combinatorial models for key families of Demazure multiplicities. The theorems in this paper were autonomously produced and formalized in Lean/Mathlib by AxiomProver from natural-language statements.

Graded characters, demazure multiplicities, and chebyshev polynomials

In this paper, we study numerical multiplicities of Demazure modules in the excellent filtration of $\mathfrak{sl}_2[t]$-modules $V(\xi)$, where $V(\xi)$ denotes the fusion product associated to a partition $\xi$. We express generating functions for the numerical multiplicities of level $m$ Demazure modules in excellent filtrations of $V(\xi)$ in terms of quotients of Chebyshev polynomials, thereby generalizing earlier results for fat hook partitions. We also revisit the graded multiplicities of irreducible $\mathfrak{sl}_2$-modules in $V(\xi)$ and provide a new and self-contained proof of their description in terms of cocharge Kostka--Foulkes polynomials. While this connection has been established in earlier works, our approach is elementary and relies only on recursive structures arising from short exact sequences of fusion products. As a consequence, we obtain a direct and self-contained derivation of the graded characters of $V(\xi)$ in terms of Hall--Littlewood polynomials with coefficients given by cocharge Kostka--Foulkes polynomials.

Existence of a new family of irreducible components in the tensor product and its applications

In this paper, using crystal theory we prove the existence of a new family of irreducible components appearing in the tensor product of two irreducible integrable highest weight modules over symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebras motivated by the Schur positivity conjecture, Kostant conjecture and Wahl conjecture. We also prove Schur positivity conjecture in full generality when the Lie algebra is a simple Lie algebra under the assumption that $\lambda > > \mu$, i.e. if $\lambda$ and $\mu$ are the two dominant weights appearing in the tensor product then $\lambda+w\mu$ is a dominant weight for all the Weyl group elements $w$.

Ideals in enveloping algebras of affine Kac-Moody algebras

Let $L$ be an affine Kac-Moody algebra, with central element $c$, and let $\lambda \in \mathbb C$. We study two-sided ideals in the central quotient $U_\lambda(L):= U(L)/(c-\lambda)$ of the universal enveloping algebra of $L$, and prove: Theorem 1. If $\lambda \neq 0$ then $U_\lambda(L)$ is simple. Theorem 2. The algebra $U_0(L)$ has just-infinite growth, in the sense that any proper quotient has polynomial growth. As an immediate corollary, we show that the annihilator of any nontrivial integrable highest weight representation of $L$ is centrally generated, extending a result of Chari for Verma modules. We also show that universal enveloping algebras of loop algebras and current algebras of finite-dimensional simple Lie algebras have just-infinite growth, and prove similar results to Theorems 1 and 2 for quotients of symmetric algebras of these Lie algebras by Poisson ideals.

Tensor Representations for the Drinfeld Double of the Taft Algebra

Over an algebraically closed field $\mathbb k$ of characteristic zero, the Drinfeld double $D_n$ of the Taft algebra that is defined using a primitive $n$th root of unity $q \in \mathbb k$ for $n \geq 2$ is a quasitriangular Hopf algebra. Kauffman and Radford have shown that $D_n$ has a ribbon element if and only if $n$ is odd, and the ribbon element is unique; however there has been no explicit description of this element. In this work, we determine the ribbon element of $D_n$ explicitly. For any $n \geq 2$, we use the R-matrix of $D_n$ to construct an action of the Temperley-Lieb algebra $\mathsf{TL}_k(\xi)$ with $\xi = -(q^{\frac{1}{2}}+q^{-\frac{1}{2}})$ on the $k$-fold tensor power $V^{\otimes k}$ of any two-dimensional simple $D_n$-module $V$. This action is known to be faithful for arbitrary $k \geq 1$. We show that $\mathsf{TL}_k(\xi)$ is isomorphic to the centralizer algebra $\text{End}_{D_n}(V^{\otimes k})$ for $1 \le k \le 2n-2$.

McKay Matrices for Finite-dimensional Hopf Algebras

For a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra $A$, the McKay matrix $M_V$ of an $A$-module $V$ encodes the relations for tensoring the simple $A$-modules with $V$. We prove results about the eigenvalues and the right and left (generalized) eigenvectors of $M_V$ by relating them to characters. We show how the projective McKay matrix $Q_V$ obtained by tensoring the projective indecomposable modules of $A$ with $V$ is related to the McKay matrix of the dual module of $V$. We illustrate these results for the Drinfeld double $D_n$ of the Taft algebra by deriving expressions for the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of $M_V$ and $Q_V$ in terms of several kinds of Chebyshev polynomials. For the matrix $N_V$ that encodes the fusion rules for tensoring $V$ with a basis of projective indecomposable $D_n$-modules for the image of the Cartan map, we show that the eigenvalues and eigenvectors also have such Chebyshev expressions.

Macdonald Polynomials and level two Demazure modules for affine $\mathfrak{sl}_{n+1}$

We define a family of symmetric polynomials $G_{\nu,\lambda}(z_1,\cdots, z_{n+1},q)$ indexed by a pair of dominant integral weights. The polynomial $G_{\nu,0}(z,q)$ is the specialized Macdonald polynomial and we prove that $G_{0,\lambda}(z,q)$ is the graded character of a level two Demazure module associated to the affine Lie algebra $\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}}_{n+1}$. Under suitable conditions on $(\nu,\lambda)$ (which includes the case when $\nu=0$ or $\lambda=0$) we prove that $G_{\nu,\lambda}(z,q)$ is Schur positive and give explicit formulae for them in terms of Macdonald polynomials.

Kirillov-Reshetikhin crystals $B^{7,s}$ for type $E_7^{(1)}$

We construct a combinatorial crystal structure on the Kirillov-Reshetikhin crystal $B^{7,s}$ in type $E_7^{(1)}$, where $7$ is the unique node in the orbit of $0$ in the affine Dynkin diagram. We then describe the combinatorial $R$-matrix $R \colon B^{7,s} \otimes B^{7,s'} \to B^{7,s'} \otimes B^{7,s}$.

A combinatorial formula for graded multiplicities in excellent filtrations

A filtration of a representation whose successive quotients are isomorphic to Demazure modules is called an excellent filtration. In this paper we study graded multiplicities in excellent filtrations of fusion products for the current algebra $\mathfrak{sl}_2[t]$. We give a combinatorial formula for the polynomials encoding these multiplicities in terms of two dimensional lattice paths. Corollaries to our main theorem include a combinatorial interpretation of various objects such as the coeffficients of Ramanujan's fifth order mock theta functions $\phi_0, \phi_1, \psi_0, \psi_1$, Kostka polynomials for hook partitions and quotients of Chebyshev polynomials. We also get a combinatorial interpretation of the graded multiplicities in a level one flag of a local Weyl module associated to the simple Lie algebras of type $B_n \text{ and } G_2$.

Demazure flags, $q$--Fibonacci polynomials and hypergeometric series

We study a family of finite--dimensional representations of the hyperspecial parabolic subalgebra of the twisted affine Lie algebra of type $\tt A_2^{(2)}$. We prove that these modules admit a decreasing filtration whose sections are isomorphic to stable Demazure modules in an integrable highest weight module of sufficiently large level. In particular, we show that any stable level $m'$ Demazure module admits a filtration by level $m$ Demazure modules for all $m\ge m'$. We define the graded and weighted generating functions which encode the multiplicity of a given Demazure module and establish a recursive formulae. In the case when $m'=1,2$ and $m=2,3$ we determine these generating functions completely and show that they define hypergeoemetric series and that they are related to the $q$--Fibonacci polynomials defined by Carlitz.

Demazure Flags, Chebyshev polynomials, Partial and Mock theta functions

We study the level $m$--Demazure flag of a level $\ell$--Demazure module for $\frak{sl}_2[t]$. We define the generating series $A_n^{\ell \rightarrow m}(x,q)$ which encodes the $q$--multiplicity of the level $m$ Demazure module of weight $n$. We establish two recursive formulae for these functions. We show that the specialization to $q=1$ is a rational function involving the Chebyshev polynomials. We give a closed form for $A_n^{\ell \rightarrow \ell+1}(x,q)$ and prove that it is given by a rational function. In the case when $m=\ell+1$ and $\ell=1,2$, we relate the generating series to partial theta series. We also study the specializations $A_n^{1\rightarrow 3}(q^k,q)$ and relate them to the fifth order mock-theta functions of Ramanujan.

Minuscule Schubert varieties: Poset polytopes, PBW-degenerated Demazure modules, and Kogan faces

We study a family of posets and the associated chain and order polytopes. We identify the order polytope as a maximal Kogan face in a Gelfand-Tsetlin polytope of a multiple of a fundamental weight. We show that the character of such a Kogan face equals to the character of a Demazure module which occurs in the irreducible representation of $\mathfrak{sl}_n$ having highest weight multiple of fundamental weight and for any such Demazure module there exists a corresponding poset and associated maximal Kogan face. We prove that the chain polytope parametrizes a monomial basis of the associated PBW-graded Demazure module and further, that the Demazure module is a favourable module, e.g. interesting geometric properties are governed by combinatorics of convex polytopes. Thus, we obtain for any minuscule Schubert variety a flat degeneration into a toric projective variety which is projectively normal and arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay. We provide a necessary and sufficient condition on the Weyl group element such that the toric variety associated to the chain polytope and the toric variety associated to the order polytope are isomorphic.
