Rigorous numerical computation of the Stokes multipliers for linear differential equations with single level one

We describe a practical algorithm for computing the Stokes multipliers of a linear differential equation with polynomial coefficients at an irregular singular point of single level one. The algorithm follows a classical approach based on Borel summation and numerical ODE solving, but avoids a large amount of redundant work compared to a direct implementation. It applies to differential equations of arbitrary order, with no genericity assumption, and is suited to high-precision computations. In addition, we present an open-source implementation of this algorithm in the SageMath computer algebra system and illustrate its use with several examples. Our implementation supports arbitrary-precision computations and automatically provides rigorous error bounds. The article assumes minimal prior knowledge of the asymptotic theory of meromorphic differential equations and provides an elementary introduction to the linear Stokes phenomenon that may be of independent interest.

On Gevrey regularity of solutions for inhomogeneous nonlinear moment partial differential equations

In this article we investigate Gevrey regularity of formal power series solutions for a certain class of nonlinear moment partial differential equations, the inhomogeneity of which is $\sigma$-Gevrey with respect to the time variable $t$ for a fixed $\sigma\ge 0$. The results are achieved by analyzing the geometric structure of the Newton polygon associated with the equation and are a generalization of similar results obtained for standard nonlinear partial differential equations as well as linear moment differential equations.

Meromorphic solutions of linear $q$-difference equations

In this article, we construct explicit meromorphic solutions of first order linear $q$-difference equations in the complex domain and we describe the location of all their zeros and poles. The homogeneous case leans on the study of four fundamental equations, providing the previous informations in the framework of entire or meromorphic coefficients. The inhomogeneous situation, which stems from the homogeneous one and two fundamental equations, is also described in detail. We also address the case of higher-order linear $q$-difference equations, using a classical factorization argument. All these results are illustrated by several examples.

Resurgence, Stokes phenomenon and alien derivatives for level-one linear differential systems

A precise description of the singularities of the Borel transform of solutions of a level-one linear differential system is deduced from a proof of the summable-resurgence of the solutions by the perturbative method of J. Écalle. Then we compare the meromorphic classification (Stokes phenomenon) from the viewpoint of the Stokes cocycle and the viewpoint of alien derivatives. We make explicit the Stokes-Ramis matrices as functions of the connection constants in the Borel plane and we develop two examples. No assumption of genericity is made.
