Poisson laws and exterior stability for random alternating tensors

For fixed $k\ge3$, we determine the critical law of totally isotropic $r$-spaces for a uniform random map $Θ_N:Λ^k\mathbb {F}_q^N\to\mathbb {F}_q^m$. At the exact balance $m\binom rk=r(N-r)$, the entire null configuration is asymptotically an independent Bernoulli subset of $\operatorname{Gr}(r,\mathbb {F}_q^N)$ in total variation, uniformly in $q$ and $m$. Consequently, the counting measure $Ξ_r$ is asymptotically a Poisson point process, and its total mass $X_{N,r}$ is asymptotically Poisson. An exterior-rank stability theorem shows that near-extremal families decompose into Grassmann clusters with uniformly controlled span deficiency. We obtain quantitative rates and identify the first exterior-dependence scale. We also show that rare null $(r+1)$-spaces force high-order factorial-moment divergence, while the fixed-target bilinear cases $m=1,2$ exhibit non-Poisson critical behavior.

Unit Actions on Homometric Five-Point Subsets of Cyclic Groups: Orbit and fixed-point refinement of the seven-family classification

Erickson and Jones classified the nontrivial homometry classes of five-point binary bracelets into seven families, Types A-G, and conjectured that each family is invariant under multiplication by units modulo sign. We prove this conjecture and show that the induced actions are diagonal for Type A, multiplicative for Types B-E, affine for Type F, and regular through $U_{20}/\{\pm1\}\cong C_4$ for Type G. We derive closed arithmetic formulas for the numbers of unit orbits and classes fixed by every unit, and determine the orbit-size distributions in all seven types, including explicit stabilizer descriptions for Types A and F.

Pulse Graphs: Prime-Activated Boolean Dynamics on Directed Graphs

We study synchronous Boolean dynamics on finite loopless directed graphs in which a vertex is active at the next time step exactly when its number of active in-neighbors is prime. We call these systems Pulse Graphs. Let $L(n)$ denote the largest attractor period realizable on $n$ vertices. Exhaustive enumeration gives \[ L(1),\ldots,L(5)=1,1,1,3,9. \] Our main result determines the exponential order of the maximum period: \[ 2^{n-3}-1\leq L(n)\leq2^n-n-1 \qquad(n\geq5). \] The lower bound is obtained by implementing a maximal-length affine feedback register using prime-count logic gates. For $n\geq6$, the construction is loopless, has maximum in-degree five, and uses only $O(n)$ edges. For odd $n\geq7$, a period-3 control module improves the lower bound to \[ 3(2^{n-4}-1). \] For complete directed graphs, we derive an exact update formula, classify all attractors as fixed points or complement two-cycles, prove that every orbit reaches its eventual attractor within three updates, and count the attractors explicitly. We also derive the activation probability under independent random inputs. For sparse random directed graphs, the associated prime-Poisson mean-field map undergoes a nondegenerate fold at \[ c_\ast\approx3.824963, \qquad ρ_\ast\approx0.368241, \] with local bistability immediately above the threshold.
