Large Language Models for Multilingual Code Intelligence: A Survey

Large language models have transformed AI-assisted software engineering, but current research remains biased toward high-resource languages such as Python, with weaker performance in languages like Rust and OCaml. Since real-world systems are inherently polyglot, robust multilingual code intelligence is crucial. This survey focuses on two key tasks: multilingual code generation from shared natural-language requirements, and multilingual code translation that preserves semantics across languages. It reviews representative methods, benchmarks, and evaluation metrics, and highlights challenges and opportunities for trustworthy cross-language generalization.

From Heuristics to Transformers: A Comprehensive Survey of Type Inference from Stripped Binaries

The recovery of high-level type information from stripped binaries-executables devoid of symbol tables and debugging information-is a cornerstone of software reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, and decompilation. This survey tracks the evolution of binary type inference from early rule-based heuristics and static analysis to modern deep learning architectures. We analyze the shift from "duck typing" and constraint-solving techniques (e.g., BITY, BinSub) to context-aware neural models (e.g., EKLAVYA, CATI) and finally to state-of-the-art Transformer and Graph Neural Network (GNN) architectures (e.g., SeeType, TYGR). We identify core challenges, including optimization-induced semantics loss and structural type recovery, and propose future research directions in neuro-symbolic inference.

Experimental implementation of dimension-dependent contextuality inequality

We present a derivation and experimental implementation of a dimension-dependent contextuality inequality to certify both the quantumness and dimensionality of a given system. Existing methods for certification of the dimension of quantum system can be cheated by using larger classical systems, creating a potential loophole in these benchmarks. Our approach uses contextuality inequalities that cannot be violated by classical systems thus closing the previous loophole. We validate this framework experimentally with photons, observing violations of a CHSH-based contextuality inequality and surpassing the qutrit bound of the CGLMP4-based contextuality inequality. These show that contextuality can be used for noise-robust tests of the number of qubits.

The holographic principle and the Immirzi parameter of loop quantum gravity

The geometrical spectra in loop quantum gravity (LQG) suffer from ambiguity up to the free Immirzi parameter that is often determined by comparing results from the theory with the established dynamics at the black hole horizon. We address conceptual difficulties associated with such approaches and point out that the Immirzi parameter can be fixed naively by applying the LQG version of the equipartition rule at a holographic boundary such that the Hawking-Unruh temperature law follows. The value of the Immirzi parameter derived in this way should possess universal validity. This approach also provides a clue that this parameter could be rooted in the holographic principle.

A Correction to the Immirizi Parameter of SU(2) Spin Networks

The elegant predictions of loop quantum gravity are obscured by the free Immirizi parameter. Dreyer (2003), considering the asymptotic quasinormal modes spectrum of a black hole, proposed that the Immirizi parameter may be fixed by letting the j=1 transitions of spin networks as the dominant processes contributing to the black hole area, as opposed to the expected j=1/2 transitions. This suggested that the gauge group of the theory might be SO(3) rather than SU(2). Corichi (2003), maintaining SU(2) as the underlying gauge group, and invoking the principle of local fermion-number conservation, reported the same value of the Immirizi parameter for j=1 processes as obtained by Dreyer. In this note, preserving the SU(2) structure of the theory, and considering j=1 transitions as the dominant processes, we point out that the value of the Immirizi parameter is in fact twice the value reported by these authors. We arrive at this result by assuming the asymptotic quasinormal modes themselves as dynamical systems obeying SU(2) symmetry.

Coherent states for polynomial su(1,1) algebra and a conditionally solvable system

In a previous paper [{\it J. Phys. A: Math. Theor.} {\bf 40} (2007) 11105], we constructed a class of coherent states for a polynomially deformed $su(2)$ algebra. In this paper, we first prepare the discrete representations of the nonlinearly deformed $su(1,1)$ algebra. Then we extend the previous procedure to construct a discrete class of coherent states for a polynomial su(1,1) algebra which contains the Barut-Girardello set and the Perelomov set of the SU(1,1) coherent states as special cases. We also construct coherent states for the cubic algebra related to the conditionally solvable radial oscillator problem.
