Local isomorphisms for families of projective non-unruled manifolds

Let $\pi\cln \cX\to S$ and $\pi\cln \cY\to S$ be two smooth families of projective non-uniruled manifolds over a Riemann surface $S$ (probably non-compact). Suppose these two families are pointwise isomorphic. We prove that there exists an open dense subset $U\subset S$ such that the two restricted families are locally isomorphic over $U$. This partially answers Wehler's question on locally isomorphic of families of compact complex manifolds.

Locally rigid implies globally rigid in Kahler geometry

In this paper, we study the rigidity properties of compact Kahler manifolds. Given a smooth family of compact Kahler manifolds X over the unit disk, we show that all the fibers are mutually isomorphic if the family is locally trivial at a point t_1 and the fiber X_{t_1} is non-uniruled. This proves that the locally rigid implies the global rigid in Kahler. It also can be used to prove the so called global non-deformability for non-uniruled Kahler manifolds under Kahler morphisms.

Deformation of nef adjoint canonical line bundles

Much inspired by J. A. Wi\'sniewski's nef-value function method, we prove that in a smooth projective family over the unit disk, if the adjoint bundle of the canonical line bundle with a relatively semiample line bundle is nef on one fiber, then it remains nef on all fibers. We further extend this result to the semiampleness of the adjoint canonical line bundles. Using these, we prove the deformation invariance of any generalized plurigenera by assuming that only one fiber admits the semiample canonical line bundle and improve the first author--Xiao-Lei Liu's recent deformation rigidity of projective manifolds with semiample canonical line bundles. In particular, also by E. Viehweg--K. Zuo's result on the minimal number of singular fibers in a family and the first author--X. Liu's isotriviality result, if a projective family over $\mathbb{P}^1$ or an elliptic curve has one fiber with the big and nef (or more generally semiample) canonical line bundle, then all fibers are isomorphic to this fiber. Next, much inspired by M. Andreatta--T. Peternell's deformation theoretical approach, we prove that, in a smooth K\"ahler family of threefolds, if the canonical line bundle of one fiber is not nef, then none of its small deformations admits a nef canonical line bundle either. This partially confirms a problem posed by F. Campana--T. Peternell and the global stability of semiampleness of canonical line bundles of threefolds under a K\"ahler smooth deformation.

Rigidity for compact hyperbolic complex manifolds

We study the deformation behavior of compact hyperbolic complex manifolds. Let $\pi:\mathcal{X}\rightarrow \Delta$ be a smooth family of compact complex manifolds over the unit disk in $\mathbb{C}$, and $H$ a compact hyperbolic complex manifold. Then the $H$-locus $\{t\in\Delta: X_t\cong H\}$ is either at most a discrete subset of $\Delta$ or the whole $\Delta$. For a smooth family over a compact Riemann surface $Y$, its $H$-locus is either at most finite or the whole $Y$. Furthermore, if $Y$ is isomorphic to $\mathbb{P}^1$ or an elliptic curve, then we conjecture that the $H$-locus is empty or the whole $Y$.

The holomorphic limit of Kahler manifolds

Let $\pi:\cX\to \Delta$ be a smooth family of compact complex manifolds over the unit disk $\Delta$, whose fibers $\cX_{t}$ are K\"ahler for all $t\in \Delta^*$. If $\pi$ is K\"ahler at a point $t_0\in\Delta^*$, we prove that there exists a pseudo-effective class on the central fiber $\cX_0$ with positive volume. Furthermore, we obtain that the holomorphic deformation limit of compact K\"ahler manifolds is a manifold in the Fujiki class $\mathcal{C}$ under some mild conditions. By adapting the argument used in the K\"ahler setting, we prove that the holomorphic deformation limit of projective manifolds is Moishezon without any additional condition.

Deformation rigidity for projective manifolds and isotriviality of smooth families

Let $\pi\cln X\to \Delta^m$ be a proper smooth K\"ahler morphism from a complex manifold $X$ to the unit polydisc $\Delta^m$. Suppose the fibers over the complement of a proper analytic subset are biholomorphic to a fixed projective manifold $S$. If the canonical line bundle of $S$ is semiample, then we show that all fibers over $\Delta^m$ are biholomorphic to $S$. As an application, we obtain that for smooth families where the canonical line bundle of the generic fiber is semiample, birational isotriviality is equivalent to isotriviality. Moreover, we establish a new Parshin-Arakelov type isotriviality criterion.

Quantum Lefschetz property for genus two stable quasimap invariants

By the reduced component in a moduli space of stable quasimaps to n-dimensional projective space we mean the closure of the locus in which the domain curves are smooth. As in the moduli space of stable maps, we prove the reduced component is smooth in genus 2, degree greater or equal to 3. Then we prove the virtual fundamental cycle of the moduli space of stable quasimaps to a complete intersection X in the projective space of genus 2, degree greater or equal to 3 is explicitly expressed in terms of the fundamental cycle of the reduced component of the projective space and virtual cycles of lower genus moduli spaces of X.

Splitting of the virtual class for genus one stable quasimaps

We analyse the local structure of moduli space of genus one stable quasimaps. Combining it with the p-fields theory developed in \cite{L}, we prove the splitting formula for the virtual cycle of stable quasimaps to complete intersections in $\PP^n$.

Cohomologies of Landau-Ginzburg models

Let V be a holomorphic bundle over a complex manifold M, and s be a holomorphic section of V. We study different types of cohomology associated to the Koszul complex induced by s. When M is complete, these cohomologies are isomorphic to each other and have self duality.

Genus one stable quasimap invariants for projective complete intersections

By using the infinitesimally marking point to break the loop in the localization calculation as Kim and Lho, and Zinger's explicit formulas for double $J$-functions, we obtain a formula for genus one stable quasimaps invariants when the target is a complete intersection Calabi-Yau in projective space, which gives a new proof of Kim and Lho's mirror theorem for elliptic quasimap invariants.

Virtual Residue and an integral formalism

We generalize Grothendieck's residues $Res\frac{\psi}{s}$ to virtual cases, namely cases when the zero loci of the section $s$ has dimension larger than the expected dimension(zero). We also provide an exponential type integral formalism for the virtual residue, which can be viewed as an analogue of the Mathai-Quillen formalism for localized Euler classes.
