Toward Unbreaking the Universe: MINERVA Measurements of Color Gradients in Massive Quiescent Galaxies Can Help Ease Too-Early Star Formation Tensions

The discovery of a population of massive, ancient quiescent galaxies within the first 2 Gyr of the Universe's history has led to significant tensions with models of galaxy formation. However, these analyses are often based on slit spectroscopy, which typically captures only the center-most region of these galaxies and, crucially, assumes these cores are representative of the entire galaxy. To illustrate the varying stellar populations present throughout these galaxies, we present an analysis of color gradients in four $z>3$, $\log(M_\star/M_\odot)>11$ quiescent galaxies which previous works have argued are in tension with models. Using medium-band photometry from MINERVA JWST observations, we measure resolved photometry in a series of elliptical annuli out to $0.7^{\prime\prime}$ ($\sim4~R_e$). We find negative color gradients in three galaxies, and for the most extreme color gradient ($\Delta(U-V)/\Delta R=-0.126\pm0.030~{\rm mag~kpc^{-1}}$), we find the stellar mass is 0.1 dex lower when compared to photometry measured within NIRSpec slits. In the limiting case where these color gradients are entirely driven by age, we find lessened tensions with extreme value statistics models out to $z\sim9.5$, though different stellar population modeling choices also contribute significantly. Ultimately, these findings highlight the need for integral field unit spectroscopy. Spatially-resolved spectra can provide the evidence needed to break the age--dust--metallicity degeneracy, and reliably separate the effects of the observed color gradients from the effects of different physical modeling assumptions on the formation histories of these galaxies.

Comparative Security Performance of Workday Cloud ERP Across Key Dimensions

Workday is a cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning-ERP system that brings HR, Finance, Supply Chain functions , Prism Analytics and Extend custom built in application together under an integrated software as a service SaaS environment. As every organization that undergoes digital transformation, the importance of securing sensitive enterprise data in cloud ERP systems has always been more challeging. To analyze Workday's security architecture, we present a Security analysis in both CIA Triad Enhanced Framework and Zero Trust Security Architecture. The study examines five key dimensions confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and compliance with weighted sub metric analysis and qualitative document review. The results show Workday delivers a composite score of 0.86 with an overall score that closely matches international standards of best practices like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, etc. The platform uses encryption protocols, granular access controls, network safeguards, and continuous verification mechanisms to enable least-privilege access and adaptive defense. Security groups and business process access rules provide scalable governance across very large organizational structures.Workday's layered security to tackle everyday cloud security weaknesses. The work concludes that Workday's architecture demonstrates the best practices for secure, scalable, and compliant ERP application-oriented deployment, which can make this a standard for enterprise cloud security management. These insights provide important guidance for organizations that wish to bolster their cloud ERP defenses and stay ahead of changing regulatory expectations.

AI-Enabled Orchestration of Event-Driven Business Processes in Workday ERP for Healthcare Enterprises

The adoption of cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms such as Workday has transformed healthcare operations by integrating financial, supply-chain, and workforce processes into a unified ecosystem. However, traditional workflow logic in ERP systems often lacks the adaptability required to manage event-driven and data-intensive healthcare environments. This study proposes an AI-enabled event-driven orchestration framework within Workday ERP that intelligently synchronizes financial and supply-chain workflows across distributed healthcare entities. The framework employs machine-learning triggers, anomaly detection, and process mining analytics to anticipate and automate responses to operational events such as inventory depletion, payment delays, or patient demand fluctuations. A multi-organization case analysis demonstrates measurable gains in process efficiency, cost visibility, and decision accuracy. Results confirm that embedding AI capabilities into Workday's event-based architecture enhances operational resilience, governance, and scalability. The proposed model contributes to the broader understanding of intelligent ERP integration and establishes a reference for next-generation automation strategies in healthcare enterprises.

AI Integration In ERP Evaluation Across Trends and Architectures

The incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a dramatic transition from static, on-premises systems to systems that can adapt and operate in cloud-native architectures. Cloud ERP solutions like Workday illustrate this evolution by incorporating machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing into a centralized data-driven ecosystem. As the complexity of AI-driven ERP solutions expands, traditional evaluation frameworks that look at cost, function, and user satisfaction suffer from a lack of consideration for algorithmic transparency, adaptability, or ethics. This review will systematically investigate the latest trends, models of computing architecture, and analytical methods applied in assessing the performance of AI-integrated ERP services, specifically on cloud-based platforms. Based on academic and industry sources, the paper distills current research in line with architectural integration, analytical methodologies, and organizational impact. It identifies critical performance metrics and emphasizes the absence of any standard assessment frameworks or AI-aware systems capable of evaluating automation efficiency, security concerns as well as flexible learning modes. We put forward a theoretical model that brings AI-enabled capabilities -- such as predictive intelligence or adaptive automation -- into alignment with metrics in performance assessment for ERPs. By combining current literature and identifying major gaps in research, this paper attempts to present a complete picture of how innovations in AI are changing ERP evaluation. These research and methodological findings are intended to steer researchers and practitioners towards developing rigorous, data-driven assessment approaches, aligning with the fast-developing world of intelligent self-optimizing enterprise ecosystems

MINERVA: A NIRCam Medium Band and MIRI Imaging Survey to Unlock the Hidden Gems of the Distant Universe

We present an overview of the MINERVA survey, a 259.8 hour (prime) and 127 hour (parallel) Cycle 4 treasury program on the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). MINERVA is obtaining 8 filter NIRCam medium band imaging (F140M, F162M, F182M, F210M, F250M, F300M, F360M, F460M) and 2 filter MIRI imaging (F1280W, F1500W) in four of the five CANDELS Extragalactic fields: UDS, COSMOS, AEGIS and GOODS-N. These fields were previously observed in Cycle 1 with 7 - 9 NIRCam filters by the PRIMER, CEERS and JADES programs. MINERVA reaches a 5$\sigma$ depth of 28.1 mag in F300M and covers $\sim$ 542 arcmin$^2$, increasing the area of existing JWST medium-band coverage in at least 8 bands by $\sim$ 7$\times$. The MIRI imaging reaches a 5$\sigma$ depth of 23.9 mag in F1280W and covers $\sim$ 275 arcmin$^2$ in at least 2 MIRI filters. When combined with existing imaging, these data will provide a photometric catalog with 20-26 JWST filters (depending on field) and 26-35 filters total, including HST. This paper presents a detailed breakdown of the filter coverage, exposure times, and field layout relative to previous observations, as well as an overview of the primary science goals of the project. These include uncovering the physics of enigmatic sources hiding in current broadband catalogs, improving systematics on stellar mass functions and number densities by factors of $\gtrsim$ 3, and resolved mapping of stellar mass and star formation at 1 $< z <$ 6. When complete, MINERVA will become an integral part of the treasury deep field imaging datasets, significantly improving population studies with well-understood completeness, robust photometric redshifts, stellar masses, and sizes, and facilitating spectroscopic follow up for decades to come.

Towards Machine Learning-Based Meta-Studies: Applications to Cosmological Parameters

We develop a new model for automatic extraction of reported measurement values from the astrophysical literature, utilising modern Natural Language Processing techniques. We use this model to extract measurements present in the abstracts of the approximately 248,000 astrophysics articles from the arXiv repository, yielding a database containing over 231,000 astrophysical numerical measurements. Furthermore, we present an online interface (Numerical Atlas) to allow users to query and explore this database, based on parameter names and symbolic representations, and download the resulting datasets for their own research uses. To illustrate potential use cases we then collect values for nine different cosmological parameters using this tool. From these results we can clearly observe the historical trends in the reported values of these quantities over the past two decades, and see the impacts of landmark publications on our understanding of cosmology.
