$\mathcal{L}$-Lie Algebroids over Topological Ringed Spaces

Lie algebroids over a topological ringed space provides a unified framework to study various geometric structures. This geometric concept is intimately connected with well-known algebraic structures, including Gerstenhaber algebras and Batalin-Vilkovisky algebras. We introduce more general concepts such as $\mathcal{L}$-Lie algebroids and $\mathcal{A}$-Gerstenhaber algebras, associated with a given Lie algebroid $\mathcal{L}$ and Gerstenhaber algebra $\mathcal{A}$ over a topological ringed space, respectively. Following this, we explore how several standard correspondences extend within this broader framework.

Strong generalized holomorphic principal bundles

We introduce the notion of a strong generalized holomorphic (SGH) fiber bundle and develop connection and curvature theory for an SGH principal $G$-bundle over a regular generalized complex (GC) manifold, where $G$ is a complex Lie group. We develop a de Rham cohomology for regular GC manifolds, and a Dolbeault cohomology for SGH vector bundles. Moreover, we establish a Chern-Weil theory for SGH principal $G$-bundles under certain mild assumptions on the leaf space of the GC structure. We also present a Hodge theory along with associated dualities and vanishing theorems for SGH vector bundles. Several examples of SGH fiber bundles are given.

$G$-Connections on principal bundles over complete $G$-varieties

Let $X$ be a complete variety over an algebraically closed field $k$ of characteristic zero, equipped with an action of an algebraic group $G$. Let $H$ be a reductive group. We study the notion of $G$-connection on a principal $H$-bundle. We give necessary and sufficient criteria for the existence of $G$-connections extending the Atiyah-Weil type criterion for holomorphic connections obtained by Azad and Biswas. We also establish a relationship between the existence of $G$-connection and equivariant structure on a principal $H$-bundle, under the assumption that $G$ is semisimple and simply connected. These results have been obtained by Biswas et al. when the underlying variety is smooth.

Relative connections on Principal bundles and relative equivariant structures

We investigate relative holomorphic connections on a principal bundle over a family of compact complex manifolds. A sufficient condition is given for the existence of a relative holomorphic connection on a holomorphic principal bundle over a complex analytic family. We also introduce the notion of relative equivariant bundles and establish its relation with relative holomorphic connections on principal bundles.

Generalized complex structure on certain principal torus bundles

A principal torus bundle over a complex manifold with even dimensional fiber and characteristic class of type $(1,1)$ admits a family of regular generalized complex structures (GCS) with the fibers as leaves of the associated symplectic foliation. We show that such a generalized complex structure is equivalent to the product of the complex structure on the base and the symplectic structure on the fiber in a tubular neighborhood of an arbitrary fiber if and only if the bundle is flat. This has consequences for the generalized Dolbeault cohomology of the bundle that includes a K\"{u}nneth formula. On a more general note, if a principal bundle over a complex manifold with a symplectic structure group admits a GCS with the fibers of the bundle as leaves of the associated symplectic foliation, and the GCS is equivalent to a product GCS in a neighborhood of every fiber, then the bundle is flat and symplectic.

Logarithmic connections on principal bundles over normal varieties

Let $X$ be a normal projective variety over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. Let $D$ be a reduced Weil divisor on $X$. Let $G$ be a reductive linear algebraic group. We introduce the notion of a logarithmic connection on a principal $G$-bundle over $X$, which is singular along $D$. The existence of a logarithmic connection on the frame bundle associated with a vector bundle over $X$ is shown to be equivalent to the existence of a logarithmic covariant derivative on the vector bundle if the logarithmic tangent sheaf of $X$ is locally free. Additionally, when the algebraic group $G$ is semisimple, we show that a principal $G$-bundle admits a logarithmic connection if and only if the associated adjoint bundle admits one. We also prove that the existence of a logarithmic connection on a principal bundle over a toric variety, singular along the boundary divisor, is equivalent to the existence of a torus equivariant structure on the bundle.

Heegaard Floer invariants for cyclic 3-orbifolds

We define a notion of Heegaard Floer homology for three dimensional orbifolds with arbitrary cyclic singularities, generalizing the recent work of Biji Wong where the singular locus is assumed to be connected.

Classification, reduction and stability of toric principal bundles

Let $X$ be a complex toric variety equipped with the action of an algebraic torus $T$, and let $G$ be a complex linear algebraic group. We classify all $T$-equivariant principal $G$-bundles $\mathcal{E}$ over $X$ and the morphisms between them. When $G$ is connected and reductive, we characterize the equivariant automorphism group $\text{Aut}_T(\mathcal{E} )$ of $\mathcal{E}$ as the intersection of certain parabolic subgroups of $G$ that arise naturally from the $T$-action on $\mathcal{E}$. We then give a criterion for the equivariant reduction of the structure group of $\mathcal{E}$ to a Levi subgroup of $G$ in terms of $\text{Aut}_T(\mathcal{E} )$. We use it to prove a principal bundle analogue of Kaneyama's theorem on equivariant splitting of torus equivariant vector bundles of small rank over a projective space. When $X$ is projective and $G$ is connected and reductive, we show that the notions of stability and equivariant stability are equivalent for any $T$-equivariant principal $G$-bundle over $X$.

A construction of SKT manifolds using toric geometry

We produce infinite families of SKT manifolds by using methods of toric geometry like the $J$-construction. These SKT manifolds are total spaces of certain principal $G$-bundles over smooth projective toric varieties, where $G$ is an even dimensional compact connected Lie group.

Toric co-Higgs bundles on toric varieties

Starting from the data of a nonsingular complex projective toric variety, we define an associated notion of toric co-Higgs bundle. We provide a Lie-theoretic classification of these objects by studying the interaction between Klyachko's fan filtration and the fiber of the co-Higgs bundle at a closed point in the open orbit of the torus action. This can be interpreted, under certain conditions, as the construction of a coarse moduli scheme of toric co-Higgs bundles of any rank and with any total equivariant Chern class.

On stability of tangent bundle of toric varieties

Let $X$ be a nonsingular complex projective toric variety. We address the question of semi-stability as well as stability for the tangent bundle $T{X}$. In particular, a complete answer is given when $X$ is a Fano toric variety of dimension four with Picard number at most two, complementing earlier work of Nakagawa. We also give an infinite set of examples of Fano toric varieties for which $TX$ is unstable; the dimensions of this collection of varieties are unbounded. Our method is based on the equivariant approach initiated by Klyachko and developed further by Perling and Kool.

Tannakian classification of equivariant principal bundles on toric varieties

Let $X$ be a complete toric variety equipped with the action of a torus $T$ and $G$ a reductive algebraic group, defined over an algebraically closed field $K$. We introduce the notion of a compatible $\Sigma$--filtered algebra associated to $X$, generalizing the notion of a compatible $\Sigma$--filtered vector space due to Klyachko, where $\Sigma$ denotes the fan of $X$. We combine Klyachko's classification of $T$--equivariant vector bundles on $X$ with Nori's Tannakian approach to principal $G$--bundles, to give an equivalence of categories between $T$--equivariant principal $G$--bundles on $X$ and certain compatible $\Sigma$--filtered algebras associated to $X$, when the characteristic of $K$ is $0$.

On equivariant Serre problem for principal bundles

Let $E_G$ be a $\Gamma$--equivariant algebraic principal $G$--bundle over a normal complex affine variety $X$ equipped with an action of $\Gamma$, where $G$ and $\Gamma$ are complex linear algebraic groups. Suppose $X$ is contractible as a topological $\Gamma$--space with a dense orbit, and $x_0 \in X$ is a $\Gamma$--fixed point. We show that if $\Gamma$ is reductive, then $E_G$ admits a $\Gamma$--equivariant isomorphism with the product principal $G$--bundle $X \times_{\rho} E_G(x_0)$, where $\rho\,:\, \Gamma \, \longrightarrow\, G$ is a homomorphism between algebraic groups. As a consequence, any torus equivariant principal $G$-bundle over an affine toric variety is equivariantly trivial. This leads to a classification of torus equivariant principal $G$-bundles over any complex toric variety.

Group actions, non-K\"ahler complex manifolds and SKT structures

We give a construction of integrable complex structures on the total space of a smooth principal bundle over a complex manifold, with an even dimensional compact Lie group as structure group, under certain conditions. This generalizes the constructions of complex structure on compact Lie groups by Samelson and Wang, and on principal torus bundles by Calabi-Eckmann and others. It also yields large classes of new examples of non-K\"ahler compact complex manifolds. Moreover, under suitable restrictions on the base manifold, the structure group, and characteristic classes, the total space of the principal bundle admits SKT metrics. This generalizes recent results of Grantcharov et al. We study the Picard group and the algebraic dimension of the total space in some cases. We also use a slightly generalized version of the construction to obtain (non-K\"ahler) complex structures on tangential frame bundles of complex orbifolds.

A classification of equivariant principal bundles over nonsingular toric varieties

We classify holomorphic as well as algebraic torus equivariant principal $G$-bundles over a nonsingular toric variety $X$, where $G$ is a complex linear algebraic group. It is shown that any such bundle over an affine, nonsingular toric variety admits a trivialization in equivariant sense. We also obtain some splitting results.

Equivariant principal bundles and logarithmic connections on toric varieties

Let $M$ be a smooth complex projective toric variety equipped with an action of a torus $T$, such that the complement $D$ of the open $T$--orbit in $M$ is a simple normal crossing divisor. Let $G$ be a complex reductive affine algebraic group. We prove that an algebraic principal $G$--bundle $E_G\to M$ admits a $T$--equivariant structure if and only if $E_G$ admits a logarithmic connection singular over $D$. If $E_H\to M$ is a $T$-equivariant algebraic principal $H$--bundle, where $H$ is any complex affine algebraic group, then $E_H$ in fact has a canonical integrable logarithmic connection singular over $D$.

Equivariant principal bundles on nonsingular toric varieties

We give a classification of the equivariant principal $G$-bundles on a nonsingular toric variety when $G$ is a closed Abelian subgroup of $GL_k(\mathbb{C})$. We prove that any such bundle splits, that is, admits a reduction of structure group to the intersection of $G$ with a torus. We give an explicit parametrization of the isomorphism classes of such bundles for a large family of $G$ when $X$ is complete.

Holomorphic orbidiscs and Lagrangian Floer cohomology of symplectic toric orbifolds

We develop Floer theory of Lagrangian torus fibers in compact symplectic toric orbifolds. We first classify holomorphic orbi-discs with boundary on Lagrangian torus fibers. We show that there exists a class of basic discs such that we have one-to-one correspondences between a) smooth basic discs and facets of the moment polytope, and b) between basic orbi-discs and twisted sectors of the toric orbifold. We show that there is a smooth Lagrangian Floer theory of these torus fibers, which has a bulk-deformation by fundamental classes of twisted sectors of the toric orbifold. We show by several examples that such bulk-deformation can be used to illustrate the very rigid Hamiltonian geometry of orbifolds. We define its potential and bulk-deformed potential, and develop the notion of leading order potential. We study leading term equations analogous to the case of toric manifolds by Fukaya, Oh, Ohta and Ono.
