Representations of the Lie superalgebra of superderivations of the Grassmann algebra at infinity

The Lie superalgebra $W(\infty)$ is defined to be the direct limit of the simple finite-dimensional Cartan type Lie superalgebras $W(n)$ as $n$ goes to infinity, where $W(n)$ denotes the Lie superalgebra of superderivations of the Grassmann algebra $\Lambda(n)$. The zeroth component of $W(\infty)$ in its natural $\mathbb{Z}$-grading is isomorphic to $\mathfrak{gl}(\infty)$. In this paper, we initiate the study of the representation theory of $W(\infty)$. We study $\mathbb{Z}$-graded $W(\infty)$-modules, and we introduce a category $\mathbb{T}_W$ that is closely related to the Koszul category $\mathbb{T}_{\mathfrak{sl}(\infty)}$ of tensor $\mathfrak{sl}(\infty)$-modules introduced and studied by Dan-Cohen, Serganova and Penkov. We classify the simple objects of $\mathbb{T}_W$ (up to isomorphism). We prove that each simple module in $\mathbb{T}_W$ is isomorphic to the unique simple quotient of a module induced from a simple module in $\mathbb{T}_{\mathfrak{gl}(\infty)}$, and vice versa, which is analogous to the case for $W(n)$ studied by Serganova. As a corollary, we find that all simple modules in $\mathbb{T}_W$ are highest weight modules with respect to a certain Borel subalgebra. We realize each simple module from $\mathbb{T}_W$ as a module of tensor fields, generalizing work of Bernstein and Leites for $W(n)$. We prove that the category $\mathbb{T}_W$ has enough injective objects, and for each simple module, we provide an explicit injective module in $\mathbb{T}_W$ that contains it.

Finite-dimensional representations of map superalgebras

We obtain a complete classification of all finite-dimensional irreducible modules over classical map superalgebras, provide formulas for their (super)characters and a description of their extension groups. Furthermore, we describe the block decomposition of the category of finite-dimensional modules for such map superalgebras. As an application, we specialize our results to the case of loop superalgebras in order to obtain a classification of finite-dimensional irreducible modules and block decomposition of the category of finite-dimensional modules over affine Lie superalgebras.

Harish-Chandra modules for map and affine Lie superalgebras

We obtain a classification of simple modules with finite weight multiplicities over basic classical map superalgebras. Any such module is parabolic induced from a simple cuspidal bounded module over a cuspidal map superalgebra. Further on, any simple cuspidal bounded module is isomorphic to an evaluation module. As an application, we obtain a classification of all simple Harish-Chandra modules for basic classical loop superalgebras. Extending these results to affine Kac-Moody Lie superalgebras obtained by adding the degree derivation, we construct a family of bounded simple modules of level zero, and conjecture that all bounded simple cuspidal modules belong to this family. Finally, we show that for affine Kac-Moody Lie superalgebras of type I the Kac induction functor reduces the classification of all simple bounded modules to the classification of the same class of modules over the even part, whose classification is claimed by Dimitrov and Grantcharov.

Local Weyl modules and fusion products for the current superalgebra $\mathfrak{sl}(1|2)[t]$

We study a class of modules, called Chari-Venkatesh modules, for the current superalgebra $\mathfrak{sl}(1|2)[t]$. This class contains other important modules, such as graded local Weyl, truncated local Weyl and Demazure-type modules. We prove that Chari-Venkatesh modules can be realized as fusion products of generalized Kac modules. In particular, this proves Feigin and Loktev's conjecture, that fusion products are independent of their fusion parameters in the case where the fusion factors are generalized Kac modules. As an application of our results, we obtain bases, dimension and character formulas for Chari-Venkatesh modules.

Non-standard Verma type modules for $\mathfrak{q}(n)^{(2)}$

We study non-standard Verma type modules over the Kac-Moody queer Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{q}(n)^{(2)}$. We give a sufficient condition under which such modules are irreducible. We also give a classification of all irreducible diagonal $\mathbb{Z}$-graded modules over certain Heisenberg Lie superalgebras contained in $\mathfrak{q}(n)^{(2)}$.

On the structure of simple bounded weight modules of $\mathfrak{sl}(\infty)$, $\mathfrak{o}(\infty)$, $\mathfrak{sp}(\infty)$

We study the structure of bounded simple weight $\mathfrak{sl}(\infty)$-, $\mathfrak{o}(\infty)$-, $\mathfrak{sp}(\infty)$-modules, which have been recently classified in [6]. Given a splitting parabolic subalgebra $\mathfrak{p}$ of $\mathfrak{sl}(\infty)$, $\mathfrak{o}(\infty)$, $\mathfrak{sp}(\infty)$, we introduce the concepts of $\mathfrak{p}$-aligned and pseudo $\mathfrak{p}$-aligned $\mathfrak{sl}(\infty)$-, $\mathfrak{o}(\infty)$-, $\mathfrak{sp}(\infty)$-modules, and give necessary and sufficient conditions for bounded simple weight modules to be $\mathfrak{p}$-aligned or pseudo $\mathfrak{p}$-aligned. The existence of pseudo $\mathfrak{p}$-aligned modules is a consequence of the fact that the Lie algebras considered have infinite rank.

Annihilators of simple integrable weight $\mathfrak{sl}(\infty)$-modules

Let $\mathfrak{g}=\mathfrak{sl}(\infty)$. We compute the annihilators of a class of simple integrable weight $\mathfrak{g}$-modules with finite-dimensional weight spaces. It is a claim of I. Dimitrov, that this class exhausts all simple integrable weight $\mathfrak{g}$-modules with finite-dimensional weight spaces. The main feature of interest is that Dimitrov's class of modules contains non highest weight modules. Here we provide another construction for these modules, which allows to apply results of [PP18] to compute such annihilators.

Highest weight modules for affine Lie superalgebras

We describe Borel and parabolic subalgebras of affine Lie superalgebras and study the Verma type modules associated to such subalgebras. We give necessary and sufficient conditions under which these modules are simple.

Weyl modules and Weyl functors for Lie superalgebras

Given an algebraically closed field $\Bbbk$ of characteristic zero, a Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{g}$ over $\Bbbk$ and an associative, commutative $\Bbbk$-algebra $A$ with unit, a Lie superalgebra of the form $\mathfrak{g} \otimes_\Bbbk A$ is known as a map superalgebra. Map superalgebras generalize important classes of Lie superalgebras, such as, loop superalgebras (where $A=\Bbbk[t, t^{-1}]$), and current superalgebras (where $A=\Bbbk[t]$). In this paper, we define Weyl functors, global and local Weyl modules for all map superalgebras where $\mathfrak{g}$ is either $\mathfrak{sl} (n,n)$ with $n \ge 2$, or a finite-dimensional simple Lie superalgebra not of type $\mathfrak{q}(n)$. Under certain conditions on the triangular decomposition of these Lie superalgebras we prove that global and local Weyl modules satisfy certain universal and tensor product decomposition properties. We also give necessary and sufficient conditions for local (resp. global) Weyl modules to be finite dimensional (resp. finitely generated).

Irreducible modules for equivariant map superalgebras and their extensions

Let $\Gamma$ be a group acting on a scheme $X$ and on a Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{g}$, both defined over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero $\Bbbk$. The corresponding equivariant map superalgebra $M(\mathfrak{g}, X)^\Gamma$ is the Lie superalgebra of equivariant regular maps from $X$ to $\mathfrak{g}$. In this paper we complete the classification of finite-dimensional irreducible $M(\mathfrak{g}, X)^\Gamma$-modules when $\mathfrak{g}$ is a finite-dimensional simple Lie superalgebra, $X$ is of finite type and $\Gamma$ is a finite abelian group acting freely on the rational points of $X$, by classifying these $M(\mathfrak{g},X)^\Gamma$-modules in the case where $\mathfrak{g}$ is a periplectic Lie superalgebra. We also describe extensions between irreducible modules in terms of homomorphisms and extensions between modules for certain finite-dimensional Lie superalgebras.

Weyl modules for Lie superalgebras

We define global and local Weyl modules for Lie superalgebras of the form $\mathfrak{g} \otimes A$, where $A$ is an associative commutative unital $\mathbb{C}$-algebra and $\mathfrak{g}$ is a basic Lie superalgebra or $\mathfrak{sl}(n,n)$, $n \ge 2$. Under some mild assumptions, we prove universality, finite-dimensionality, and tensor product decomposition properties for these modules. These properties are analogues of those of Weyl modules in the non-super setting. We also point out some features that are new in the super case.

Equivariant map queer Lie superalgebras

An equivariant map queer Lie superalgebra is the Lie superalgebra of regular maps from an algebraic variety (or scheme) $X$ to a queer Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{q}$ that are equivariant with respect to the action of a finite group $\Gamma$ acting on $X$ and $\mathfrak{q}$. In this paper, we classify all irreducible finite-dimensional representations of the equivariant map queer Lie superalgebras under the assumption that $\Gamma$ is abelian and acts freely on $X$. We show that such representations are parameterized by a certain set of $\Gamma$-equivariant finitely supported maps from $X$ to the set of isomorphism classes of irreducible finite-dimensional representations of $\mathfrak{q}$. In the special case where $X$ is the torus, we obtain a classification of the irreducible finite-dimensional representations of the twisted loop queer superalgebra.
