A Unified Hierarchical Framework for Fine-grained Cross-view Geo-localization over Large-scale Scenarios

Cross-view geo-localization is a promising solution for large-scale localization problems, requiring the sequential execution of retrieval and metric localization tasks to achieve fine?grained predictions. However, existing methods typically focus on designing standalone models for these two tasks, resulting in inefficient collaboration and increased training overhead. In this paper, we propose UnifyGeo, a novel unified hierarchical geo-localization framework that integrates retrieval and metric localization tasks into a single network. Specifically, we first em?ploy a unified learning strategy to jointly learn multi-granularity representations, establishing task associations between retrieval and metric localization. Subsequently, we design a re-ranking mechanism guided by a dedicated loss function, which enhances geo-localization performance by improving both retrieval accuracy and metric localization references. Extensive experiments demonstrate that UnifyGeo significantly outperforms state-of-the?art methods in both task-isolated and task-associated settings. On the challenging VIGOR benchmark, UnifyGeo achieves 39.64% and 25.58% 1-meter-level localization recall under same-area and cross-area evaluations, respectively, demonstrating strong fine?grained localization capability in large-scale scenarios. Code will be available at https://github.com/chord-sz/UnifyGeo.

Towards UAV Detection in the Real World: A New Multispectral Dataset UAVNet-MS and a New Method

The proliferation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has created urgent demand for precise UAV monitoring. Existing RGB-based systems rely on spatial cues that degrade at small scales, particularly with high inter-type similarity, target-clutter ambiguity, and low contrast. Multispectral imaging (MSI) encodes material-aware spectral signatures, yet MSI-based fine-grained small-UAV detection remains underexplored due to lack of dedicated datasets. We introduce UAVNet-MS, the first multispectral dataset for fine-grained small-UAV detection, comprising 15,618 temporally synchronized RGB-MSI data cubes (1440x1080) with bounding box annotations. The dataset features challenging small objects (93.7% <= 32^2 pixels, average 18^2 pixels, ~0.02% image area) under low contrast. We propose MFDNet, a dual-stream baseline addressing array-induced parallax and spatial-spectral fusion. Extensive evaluation under RGB-only, MSI-only, and RGB+MSI protocols against 20 detectors shows MFDNet achieves +6.2% AP50 improvement over best RGB-only methods, demonstrating spectral cues provide complementary material evidence beyond spatial cues. This work provides foundational dataset, strong baseline, and benchmark for multispectral UAV monitoring research.

Design Your Ad: Personalized Advertising Image and Text Generation with Unified Autoregressive Models

Generating realistic and user-preferred advertisements is a key challenge in e-commerce. Existing approaches utilize multiple independent models driven by click-through-rate (CTR) to controllably create attractive image or text advertisements. However, their pipelines lack cross-modal perception and rely on CTR that only reflects average preferences. Therefore, we explore jointly generating personalized image-text advertisements from historical click behaviors. We first design a Unified Advertisement Generative model (Uni-AdGen) that employs a single autoregressive framework to produce both advertising images and texts. By incorporating a foreground perception module and instruction tuning, Uni-AdGen enhances the realism of the generated content. To further personalize advertisements, we equip Uni-AdGen with a coarse-to-fine preference understanding module that effectively captures user interests from noisy multimodal historical behaviors to drive personalized generation. Additionally, we construct the first large-scale Personalized Advertising image-text dataset (PAd1M) and introduce a Product Background Similarity (PBS) metric to facilitate training and evaluation. Extensive experiments show that our method outperforms baselines in general and personalized advertisement generation. Our project is available at https://github.com/JD-GenX/Uni-AdGen.

Triple Spectral Fusion for Sensor-based Human Activity Recognition

The field of sensor-based human activity recognition (HAR) mainly uses posture, motion and context data of Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) to identify daily activities. Despite the advancements in learning-based methods, it is challenging to perform information fusion from the temporal perspective due to the complexities in fusing heterogeneous sensor data and establishing long-term context correlations. This paper proposes a novel triple spectral fusion framework tailored for HAR. First, we develop an adaptive complementary filtering technique for noise suppression and organize each IMU's sensors into posture and motion modality nodes. Given that IMU nodes form a dynamic heterogeneous graph, we then apply adaptive filtering within the graph Fourier domain to merge both homogeneous and heterogeneous node information. Furthermore, an adaptive wavelet frequency selection approach is implemented to suppress context redundancy and shorten the length of features. This approach enhances both timestamp-based graph aggregation and the correlation of long-term contexts. Our framework uses adaptive filtering in the Fourier, graph Fourier, and wavelet domains, enabling effective multi-sensor fusion and context correlation. Extensive experiments on ten benchmark datasets demonstrate the superior performance of our framework. Project page: https://github.com/crocodilegogogo/TSF-TPAMI2026.

Probing Deep into Temporal Profile Makes the Infrared Small Target Detector Much Better

Infrared small target (IRST) detection is challenging in simultaneously achieving precise, robust, and efficient performance due to extremely dim targets and strong interference. Current learning-based methods attempt to leverage ``more" information from both the spatial and the short-term temporal domains, but suffer from unreliable performance under complex conditions while incurring computational redundancy. In this paper, we explore the ``more essential" information from a more crucial domain for the detection. Through theoretical analysis, we reveal that the global temporal saliency and correlation information in the temporal profile demonstrate significant superiority in distinguishing target signals from other signals. To investigate whether such superiority is preferentially leveraged by well-trained networks, we built the first prediction attribution tool in this field and verified the importance of the temporal profile information. Inspired by the above conclusions, we remodel the IRST detection task as a one-dimensional signal anomaly detection task, and propose an efficient deep temporal probe network (DeepPro) that only performs calculations in the time dimension for IRST detection. We conducted extensive experiments to fully validate the effectiveness of our method. The experimental results are exciting, as our DeepPro outperforms existing state-of-the-art IRST detection methods on widely-used benchmarks with extremely high efficiency, and achieves a significant improvement on dim targets and in complex scenarios. We provide a new modeling domain, a new insight, a new method, and a new performance, which can promote the development of IRST detection. Codes are available at https://tinalrj.github.io/DeepPro/.

UPGS: Unified Pose-aware Gaussian Splatting for Dynamic Scene Deblurring

Reconstructing dynamic 3D scenes from monocular video has broad applications in AR/VR, robotics, and autonomous navigation, but often fails due to severe motion blur caused by camera and object motion. Existing methods commonly follow a two-step pipeline, where camera poses are first estimated and then 3D Gaussians are optimized. Since blurring artifacts usually undermine pose estimation, pose errors could be accumulated to produce inferior reconstruction results. To address this issue, we introduce a unified optimization framework by incorporating camera poses as learnable parameters complementary to 3DGS attributes for end-to-end optimization. Specifically, we recast camera and object motion as per-primitive SE(3) affine transformations on 3D Gaussians and formulate a unified optimization objective. For stable optimization, we introduce a three-stage training schedule that optimizes camera poses and Gaussians alternatively. Particularly, 3D Gaussians are first trained with poses being fixed, and then poses are optimized with 3D Gaussians being untouched. Finally, all learnable parameters are optimized together. Extensive experiments on the Stereo Blur dataset and challenging real-world sequences demonstrate that our method achieves significant gains in reconstruction quality and pose estimation accuracy over prior dynamic deblurring methods.

Preserving Full Degradation Details for Blind Image Super-Resolution

The performance of image super-resolution relies heavily on the accuracy of degradation information, especially under blind settings. Due to the absence of true degradation models in real-world scenarios, previous methods learn distinct representations by distinguishing different degradations in a batch. However, the most significant degradation differences may provide shortcuts for the learning of representations such that subtle difference may be discarded. In this paper, we propose an alternative to learn degradation representations through reproducing degraded low-resolution (LR) images. By guiding the degrader to reconstruct input LR images, full degradation information can be encoded into the representations. In addition, we develop a distribution alignment loss to facilitate the learning of the degradation representations by introducing a bounded constraint. Moreover, to achieve larger receptive fields to capture information from a wider region for better restoration results, we introduce a degradation-aware Mamba module to efficiently model long-range dependency between the anchor pixel and the surrounding informative pixels. And the module strikes a flexible adaption to various degradations based on the learned representations. Experiments show that our representations can extract accurate and highly robust degradation information. Evaluations on both synthetic and real images demonstrate that our ReDSR achieves state-of-the-art performance for the blind SR tasks.

Simulating the Real World: A Unified Survey of Multimodal Generative Models

Understanding and replicating the real world is a critical challenge in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) research. To achieve this, many existing approaches, such as world models, aim to capture the fundamental principles governing the physical world, enabling more accurate simulations and meaningful interactions. However, current methods often treat different modalities, including 2D (images), videos, 3D, and 4D representations, as independent domains, overlooking their interdependencies. Additionally, these methods typically focus on isolated dimensions of reality without systematically integrating their connections. In this survey, we present a unified survey for multimodal generative models that investigate the progression of data dimensionality in real-world simulation. Specifically, this survey starts from 2D generation (appearance), then moves to video (appearance+dynamics) and 3D generation (appearance+geometry), and finally culminates in 4D generation that integrate all dimensions. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first attempt to systematically unify the study of 2D, video, 3D and 4D generation within a single framework. To guide future research, we provide a comprehensive review of datasets, evaluation metrics and future directions, and fostering insights for newcomers. This survey serves as a bridge to advance the study of multimodal generative models and real-world simulation within a unified framework.

SpecDETR: A transformer-based hyperspectral point object detection network

Hyperspectral target detection (HTD) aims to identify specific materials based on spectral information in hyperspectral imagery and can detect extremely small-sized objects, some of which occupy a smaller than one-pixel area. However, existing HTD methods are developed based on per-pixel binary classification, neglecting the three-dimensional cube structure of hyperspectral images (HSIs) that integrates both spatial and spectral dimensions. The synergistic existence of spatial and spectral features in HSIs enable objects to simultaneously exhibit both, yet the per-pixel HTD framework limits the joint expression of these features. In this paper, we rethink HTD from the perspective of spatial-spectral synergistic representation and propose hyperspectral point object detection as an innovative task framework. We introduce SpecDETR, the first specialized network for hyperspectral multi-class point object detection, which eliminates dependence on pre-trained backbone networks commonly required by vision-based object detectors. SpecDETR uses a multi-layer Transformer encoder with self-excited subpixel-scale attention modules to directly extract deep spatial-spectral joint features from hyperspectral cubes. We develop a simulated hyperspectral point object detection benchmark termed SPOD, and for the first time, evaluate and compare the performance of visual object detection networks and HTD methods on hyperspectral point object detection. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our proposed SpecDETR outperforms SOTA visual object detection networks and HTD methods. Traffic Image Restoration under Adverse Weather via Frequency-Aware Mamba

Traffic image restoration under adverse weather conditions remains a critical challenge for intelligent transportation systems. Existing methods primarily focus on spatial-domain modeling but neglect frequency-domain priors. Although the emerging Mamba architecture excels at long-range dependency modeling through patch-wise correlation analysis, its potential for frequency-domain feature extraction remains unexplored. To address this, we propose Frequency-Aware Mamba (FAMamba), a novel framework that integrates frequency guidance with sequence modeling for efficient image restoration. Our architecture consists of two key components: (1) a Dual-Branch Feature Extraction Block (DFEB) that enhances local-global interaction via bidirectional 2D frequency-adaptive scanning, dynamically adjusting traversal paths based on sub-band texture distributions; and (2) a Prior-Guided Block (PGB) that refines texture details through wavelet-based high-frequency residual learning, enabling high-quality image reconstruction with precise details. Meanwhile, we design a novel Adaptive Frequency Scanning Mechanism (AFSM) for the Mamba architecture, which enables the Mamba to achieve frequency-domain scanning across distinct subgraphs, thereby fully leveraging the texture distribution characteristics inherent in subgraph structures. Extensive experiments demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of FAMamba.

Bidirectional Feature-aligned Motion Transformation for Efficient Dynamic Point Cloud Compression

Efficient dynamic point cloud compression (DPCC) critically depends on accurate motion estimation and compensation. However, the inherently irregular structure and substantial local variations of point clouds make this task highly challenging. Existing approaches typically rely on explicit motion estimation, whose encoded motion vectors often fail to capture complex dynamics and inadequately exploit temporal correlations. To address these limitations, we propose a Bidirectional Feature-aligned Motion Transformation (Bi-FMT) framework that implicitly models motion in the feature space. Bi-FMT aligns features across both past and future frames to produce temporally consistent latent representations, which serve as predictive context in a conditional coding pipeline, forming a unified ``Motion + Conditional'' representation. Built upon this bidirectional feature alignment, we introduce a Cross-Transformer Refinement module (CTR) at the decoder side to adaptively refine locally aligned features. By modeling cross-frame dependencies with vector attention, CRT enhances local consistency and restores fine-grained spatial details that are often lost during motion alignment. Moreover, we design a Random Access (RA) reference strategy that treats the bidirectionally aligned features as conditional context, enabling frame-level parallel compression and eliminating the sequential encoding. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Bi-FMT surpasses D-DPCC and AdaDPCC in both compression efficiency and runtime, achieving BD-Rate reductions of 20% (D1) and 9.4% (D1), respectively.

Deep Lookup Network

Convolutional neural networks are constructed with massive operations with different types and are highly computationally intensive. Among these operations, multiplication operation is higher in computational complexity and usually requires {more} energy consumption with longer inference time than other operations, which hinders the deployment of convolutional neural networks on mobile devices. In many resource-limited edge devices, complicated operations can be calculated via lookup tables to reduce computational cost. Motivated by this, in this paper, we introduce a generic and efficient lookup operation which can be used as a basic operation for the construction of neural networks. Instead of calculating the multiplication of weights and activation values, simple yet efficient lookup operations are adopted to compute their responses. To enable end-to-end optimization of the lookup operation, we construct the lookup tables in a differentiable manner and propose several training strategies to promote their convergence. By replacing computationally expensive multiplication operations with our lookup operations, we develop lookup networks for the image classification, image super-resolution, and point cloud classification tasks. It is demonstrated that our lookup networks can benefit from the lookup operations to achieve higher efficiency in terms of energy consumption and inference speed while maintaining competitive performance to vanilla convolutional networks. Extensive experiments show that our lookup networks produce state-of-the-art performance on different tasks (both classification and regression tasks) and different data types (both images and point clouds).

PanMatch: Unleashing the Potential of Large Vision Models for Unified Matching Models

This work presents PanMatch, a versatile foundation model for robust correspondence matching. Unlike previous methods that rely on task-specific architectures and domain-specific fine-tuning to support tasks like stereo matching, optical flow or feature matching, our key insight is that any two-frame correspondence matching task can be addressed within a 2D displacement estimation framework using the same model weights. Such a formulation eliminates the need for designing specialized unified architectures or task-specific ensemble models. Instead, it achieves multi-task integration by endowing displacement estimation algorithms with unprecedented generalization capabilities. To this end, we highlight the importance of a robust feature extractor applicable across multiple domains and tasks, and propose the feature transformation pipeline that leverage all-purpose features from Large Vision Models to endow matching baselines with zero-shot cross-view matching capabilities. Furthermore, we assemble a cross-domain dataset with near 1.8 million samples from stereo matching, optical flow, and feature matching domains to pretrain PanMatch. We demonstrate the versatility of PanMatch across a wide range of domains and downstream tasks using the same model weights. Our model outperforms UniMatch and Flow-Anything on cross-task evaluations, and achieves comparable performance to most state-of-the-art task-specific algorithms on task-oriented benchmarks. Additionally, PanMatch presents unprecedented zero-shot performance in abnormal scenarios, such as rainy day and satellite imagery, where most existing robust algorithms fail to yield meaningful results.

Learning Robust Stereo Matching in the Wild with Selective Mixture-of-Experts

Recently, learning-based stereo matching networks have advanced significantly. However, they often lack robustness and struggle to achieve impressive cross-domain performance due to domain shifts and imbalanced disparity distributions among diverse datasets. Leveraging Vision Foundation Models (VFMs) can intuitively enhance the model's robustness, but integrating such a model into stereo matching cost-effectively to fully realize their robustness remains a key challenge. To address this, we propose SMoEStereo, a novel framework that adapts VFMs for stereo matching through a tailored, scene-specific fusion of Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) and Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) modules. SMoEStereo introduces MoE-LoRA with adaptive ranks and MoE-Adapter with adaptive kernel sizes. The former dynamically selects optimal experts within MoE to adapt varying scenes across domains, while the latter injects inductive bias into frozen VFMs to improve geometric feature extraction. Importantly, to mitigate computational overhead, we further propose a lightweight decision network that selectively activates MoE modules based on input complexity, balancing efficiency with accuracy. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method exhibits state-of-the-art cross-domain and joint generalization across multiple benchmarks without dataset-specific adaptation. DropoutGS: Dropping Out Gaussians for Better Sparse-view Rendering

Although 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) has demonstrated promising results in novel view synthesis, its performance degrades dramatically with sparse inputs and generates undesirable artifacts. As the number of training views decreases, the novel view synthesis task degrades to a highly under-determined problem such that existing methods suffer from the notorious overfitting issue. Interestingly, we observe that models with fewer Gaussian primitives exhibit less overfitting under sparse inputs. Inspired by this observation, we propose a Random Dropout Regularization (RDR) to exploit the advantages of low-complexity models to alleviate overfitting. In addition, to remedy the lack of high-frequency details for these models, an Edge-guided Splitting Strategy (ESS) is developed. With these two techniques, our method (termed DropoutGS) provides a simple yet effective plug-in approach to improve the generalization performance of existing 3DGS methods. Extensive experiments show that our DropoutGS produces state-of-the-art performance under sparse views on benchmark datasets including Blender, LLFF, and DTU. Pluggable Style Representation Learning for Multi-Style Transfer

Due to the high diversity of image styles, the scalability to various styles plays a critical role in real-world applications. To accommodate a large amount of styles, previous multi-style transfer approaches rely on enlarging the model size while arbitrary-style transfer methods utilize heavy backbones. However, the additional computational cost introduced by more model parameters hinders these methods to be deployed on resource-limited devices. To address this challenge, in this paper, we develop a style transfer framework by decoupling the style modeling and transferring. Specifically, for style modeling, we propose a style representation learning scheme to encode the style information into a compact representation. Then, for style transferring, we develop a style-aware multi-style transfer network (SaMST) to adapt to diverse styles using pluggable style representations. In this way, our framework is able to accommodate diverse image styles in the learned style representations without introducing additional overhead during inference, thereby maintaining efficiency. Experiments show that our style representation can extract accurate style information. Moreover, qualitative and quantitative results demonstrate that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance in terms of both accuracy and efficiency. SaMam: Style-aware State Space Model for Arbitrary Image Style Transfer

Global effective receptive field plays a crucial role for image style transfer (ST) to obtain high-quality stylized results. However, existing ST backbones (e.g., CNNs and Transformers) suffer huge computational complexity to achieve global receptive fields. Recently, the State Space Model (SSM), especially the improved variant Mamba, has shown great potential for long-range dependency modeling with linear complexity, which offers a approach to resolve the above dilemma. In this paper, we develop a Mamba-based style transfer framework, termed SaMam. Specifically, a mamba encoder is designed to efficiently extract content and style information. In addition, a style-aware mamba decoder is developed to flexibly adapt to various styles. Moreover, to address the problems of local pixel forgetting, channel redundancy and spatial discontinuity of existing SSMs, we introduce both local enhancement and zigzag scan. Qualitative and quantitative results demonstrate that our SaMam outperforms state-of-the-art methods in terms of both accuracy and efficiency.

VideoDirector: Precise Video Editing via Text-to-Video Models

Despite the typical inversion-then-editing paradigm using text-to-image (T2I) models has demonstrated promising results, directly extending it to text-to-video (T2V) models still suffers severe artifacts such as color flickering and content distortion. Consequently, current video editing methods primarily rely on T2I models, which inherently lack temporal-coherence generative ability, often resulting in inferior editing results. In this paper, we attribute the failure of the typical editing paradigm to: 1) Tightly Spatial-temporal Coupling. The vanilla pivotal-based inversion strategy struggles to disentangle spatial-temporal information in the video diffusion model; 2) Complicated Spatial-temporal Layout. The vanilla cross-attention control is deficient in preserving the unedited content. To address these limitations, we propose a spatial-temporal decoupled guidance (STDG) and multi-frame null-text optimization strategy to provide pivotal temporal cues for more precise pivotal inversion. Furthermore, we introduce a self-attention control strategy to maintain higher fidelity for precise partial content editing. Experimental results demonstrate that our method (termed VideoDirector) effectively harnesses the powerful temporal generation capabilities of T2V models, producing edited videos with state-of-the-art performance in accuracy, motion smoothness, realism, and fidelity to unedited content.
