We prove that smooth Fano 3-folds in the families 2.18 and 3.4 are K-stable.
In this paper, we see several basic properties of graded linear series. We firstly see that, if a graded linear series contains an ample series, then so are the pullbacks of the system under birational morphisms. Using this proposition, we define the refinements of graded linear series with respects to primitive flags. Moreover, we give several formulas to compute the $S$-invariant of those refinements. Secondly, we introduce the notion of coupled stability thresholds for graded linear series, which is a generalization of the notion introduced by Rubinstein--Tian--Zhang. We see that, over the interior of the support for finite numbers of graded linear series containing an ample series, the coupled stability threshold function can be uniquely extended continuously, which generalizes the work by Kewei Zhang. Thirdly, we get a product-type formula for coupled stability thresholds, which generalizes the work of Zhuang. Fourthly, we see Abban--Zhuang's type formulas for estimating local coupled stability thresholds.
For prime Fano threefolds $X$ of genus $g=12$, $10$ or $9$, and for totally disjoint pairs of lines $Z_1$, $Z_2$ in $X$, we establish links from the blowups of $X$ along $Z_1$ and $Z_2$. If $g=12$, then the links end with the blowups of Fano threefolds of type 2.21 along bi-cubic curves; if $g=10$, then the links end with the blowups of the projectivization of the tangent bundle of the projective plane along genus $2$ bi-quintic curves with a mild condition; if $g=9$, then the links end with conic bundles over the product of two projective lines with the discriminant loci of bidegree $(3,3)$. When $g=12$ or $g=10$, we also establish the converses of the above links. Moreover, we especially focus on the links when $g=12$ and the links are $\mathbb{G}_m$-equivariant.
We study the K-stability of singular Fano 3-folds with canonical Gorenstein singularities whose anticanonical linear system is base-point-free but not very ample.
We develop a framework to study the K-stability of weighted Fano hypersurfaces based on a combination of birational and convex-geometric techniques. As an application, we prove that all quasi-smooth weighted Fano hypersurfaces of index 1 with at most two weights greater than 1 are K-stable. We also construct several examples of K-unstable quasi-smooth weighted Fano hypersurfaces of low indices. To prove these results, we establish lower bounds for stability thresholds using the method of Abban-Zhuang, which reduces the problem to lower-dimensional cases. A key feature of our approach is the use of plt flags that are not necessarily admissible.
We give a self-contained alternative proof of the classification of smooth prime Fano threefolds of degree 22 with infinite automorphism groups established by Kuznetsov, Prokhorov and Shramov.
Hirose, Murahara, and Saito proved that some $t$-adic symmetric multiple zeta values, for indices in which $1$ and $3$ appear alternately in succession, can be expressed as polynomials in Riemann zeta values, and conjectured similar formulas. In this paper, we prove the conjectured formula for indices that start with $1$ and end with $3$, showing that they also can be expressed as polynomials in Riemann zeta values.
We find all K-polystable limits of divisors in $(\mathbb{P}^1)^4$ of degree $(1,1,1,1)$ and explicitly describe the associated irreducible component of the K-moduli space.
We interpret the coupled Ding semistability and the reduced coupled uniform Ding stability of log Fano pairs in the notion of coupled stability thresholds and reduced coupled stability thresholds. As a corollary, we solve a modified version of the conjecture by Hultgren and Witt Nyström for coupled Kähler--Einstein metrics on Fano manifolds.
We prove that all smooth Fano threefolds in the families 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.6 and 2.7 are K-stable, and we also prove that smooth Fano threefolds in the family 2.5 that satisfy one very explicit generality condition are K-stable.
We introduce a new subclass of Fano varieties (Casagrande-Druel varieties), that are $n$-dimensional varieties constructed from Fano double covers of dimension $n-1$. We conjecture that a Casagrande-Druel variety is K-polystable if the double cover and its base space are K-polystable. We prove this for smoothable Casagrande-Druel threefolds, and for Casagrande-Druel varieties constructed from double covers of $\mathbb{P}^{n-1}$ ramified over smooth hypersurfaces of degree $2d$ with $n>d>\frac{n}{2}>1$. As an application, we describe the connected components of the K-moduli space parametrizing smoothable K-polystable Fano threefolds in the families 3.9 and 4.2 in the Mori-Mukai classification.
We prove that every smooth divisor in $\mathbb{P}^1\times\mathbb{P}^1\times\mathbb{P}^2$ of degree $(1,1,2)$ is K-stable.
It has been known that nonsingular Fano threefolds of Picard rank one with the anti-canonical degree 22 admitting faithful actions of the multiplicative group form a one-dimensional family. Cheltsov and Shramov showed that all but two of them admit Kähler-Einstein metrics. In this paper, we show that the remaining Fano threefolds also admit Kähler-Einstein metrics.
We show that there exists a K-stable smooth Fano threefold of the Picard rank 3, the anti-canonical degree 28 and the third Betti number 2.
We give an algebraic proof for which log del Pezzo pairs of Maeda type are K-polystable or not. If the base field is the complex number field, then the result is already known by Li and Sun.
Motivated by the problem for the existence of Kähler-Einstein edge metrics, Cheltsov and Rubinstein conjectured the K-polystability of asymptotically log Fano varieties with small cone angles when the anti-log-canonical divisors are not big. Cheltsov, Rubinstein and Zhang proved it affirmatively in dimension $2$ with irreducible boundaries except for the type $(\operatorname{I.9B.}n)$ with $1\leq n\leq 6$. Unfortunately, recently, Fujita, Liu, Süß, Zhang and Zhuang showed the non-K-polystability for some members of type $(\operatorname{I.9B.}1)$ and for some members of type $(\operatorname{I.9B.}2)$. In this article, we show that Cheltsov--Rubinstein's problem is true for all of the remaining cases. More precisely, we explicitly compute the delta-invariant for asymptotically log del Pezzo surfaces of type $(\operatorname{I.9B.}n)$ for all $n\geq 1$ with small cone angles. As a consequence, we finish Cheltsov--Rubinstein's problem in dimension $2$ with irreducible boundaries.
In this note we investigate the Cheltsov--Rubinstein conjecture. We show that this conjecture does not hold in general and some counterexamples will be presented.
Assume that a projective variety together with a polarization is uniformly K-stable. If the polarization is canonical or anti-canonical, then the projective variety is uniformly K-stable with respects to any polarization sufficiently close to the original polarization.
