In the context of the $L^\infty$-theory of the 3D NSE, it is shown that suitable smallness of a solution in Besov space $B^{-1}_{\infty, \infty}$ suffices to prevent a possible blow-up.
Kinetic and magnetic enstrophy are shown to concentrate to smaller scales from the integral scale to a Kraichnan-type scale for the 3D magnetohydrodynamic equations. This is an improvement of the result from Bradshaw and Gruji\'c (2013), using redesigned ensemble averages.
An enstrophy cascade is exhibited for the Navier-Stokes equations in physical scales independently of boundary conditions under physically reasonable assumptions on the flow.
