HiFiPix: Bringing High-Fidelity Real-World Super-Resolution Back to Pixel Space

Diffusion-based real-world image super-resolution suffers from limited reconstruction fidelity due to information loss in VAE-based latent representations. Recently, pixel-space diffusion models offer a promising high-faithfulness alternative by avoiding latent compression, but adapting them to Real-ISR remains challenging due to inherent patch boundary artifacts and degraded generative capability. To address the issues and maximize the potential of pretrained pixel-space diffusion models, we propose HiFiPix, a pixel-space Real-ISR framework capable of ultra high-fidelity reconstruction and fine-grained visual generation effects. To suppress patch boundary artifacts, we penalize unrealistic high-frequency periodic components with a Cross-Scale Wavelet Discriminator (CWSD) for image-level supervision, and Mixup Contrastive Self-Distillation (MixCSD) for intermediate representation regularization. Furthermore, we uncover a heterogeneous generation-fidelity trade-off across low-rank adapters (LoRA) and propose Selective LoRA Pruning (LoRA-SP) to adaptively prune LoRA layers, enhancing generative capability with minimal deterioration of reconstruction fidelity. Extensive experiments demonstrate that HiFiPix consistently outperforms existing state-of-the-art latent space methods in terms of both restoration accuracy and perceptual quality by a large margin. Code and models will be released.

IntriAdapt: Generalizable Intrinsic-Guided Test-Time Adaptation for Metric Geometry Estimation

Recovering metric 3D geometry from images is fundamentally ill-posed due to perspective projection ambiguity. Current geometry models incorporate supplied or predicted intrinsics during inference, but do not use them to supervise model adaptation. To refine these predictions, test-time adaptation (TTA) typically relies on external depth measurements. In this paper, we instead use camera intrinsics as an output-side geometric verifier. Comparing the point cloud's viewing rays with those defined by the known intrinsics yields a direct measure of geometric inconsistency. We propose \textit{IntriAdapt}, a TTA framework that minimizes this closed-form geometric residual. By optimizing a lightweight LoRA adapter on a frozen geometry foundation model, our method aligns the prediction with the specific camera model without depth sensors or external priors. We further extend this approach to video sequences, demonstrating that adapting a short sequence generalizes to other sequences captured by the same camera. The adapted model processes held-out images in a feed-forward pass, without repeating optimization for each frame. Experiments on ten single-image and seven sequence benchmarks across multiple base models show that \textit{IntriAdapt} consistently outperforms both unadapted and oracle-intrinsics baselines in metric accuracy and relative geometry.

Hear the World in Stereo: Learning Dynamic Spatial Correspondence for Immersive Joint Video-Audio Generation

Recent joint video-audio generation models have achieved strong semantic correspondence and temporal synchronization. However, applications such as AR/VR and interactive gaming further require stereo audio to provide an immersive sense, which remains largely overlooked. Effective stereo audio requires the perceived sound location to evolve consistently with the motion of its corresponding visual source. We refer to this property as Dynamic Spatial Correspondence and propose StereoBind, a framework that binds visual source motion to stereo sound generation. StereoBind uses motion tracks to coordinate visual motion and stereo audio through three complementary mechanisms. Visual Motion Binding establishes source-aware audiovisual correspondence, the Spatial Track Encoder captures absolute source positions, and Residual Track RoPE models relative motion. For supervision and evaluation, we construct StereoWorld-29K, a large-scale stereo audio-video dataset with paired motion tracks, and StereoWorldBench for measuring audiovisual spatial consistency. Experiments show that StereoBind substantially improves spatial alignment in stereo audio generation over existing models while preserving overall audiovisual quality.

LongNovel: A Multi-Scale Benchmark for Hallucination Detection in Long-Context Novel Summarization

Although context windows have expanded significantly in recent years, hallucinations in long-context summarization remain a challenge. Long novels are better suited than news or papers for researching these hallucinations, due to their intrinsic information and detailed descriptions of events and dialogues. However, current research lacks a multi-scale benchmark for hallucination detection in long-context novel summarization and does not fully explore how hallucinations change as the context grows longer. In this study, we propose LongNovel, a multi-scale long-context bilingual (Chinese and English) novel benchmark for hallucination detection. This benchmark is constructed from 29 Chinese novels (ranging from 16k to 100k tokens) and chapter-level data from the BookSum dataset. We design 8 hallucination types and employ a combination of Multi-Model Arbitration and Entity-Referenced Hallucination Generation to ensure both data authenticity and a balanced distribution of hallucination categories. Furthermore, we manually revise the content in the test set to guarantee data reliability. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that LongNovel is a challenging benchmark. We release LongNovel for future research. https://github.com/BDML-lab/LongNovel

RefRetouch: Personalized Image Retouching without Test-time Fine-tuning

Personalized image retouching aims to adapt retouching styles of individual users from reference examples, but existing methods often require user-specific fine-tuning or fail to generalize effectively. To address these challenges, we introduce \textbf{RefRetouch}, a general framework for personalized image retouching that instantly adapts to user retouching styles without any test-time fine-tuning. It employs an \textit{asymmetric auto-encoder} to encode the retouching style from paired examples into a content disentangled latent representation that enables faithful transfer of the retouching style to new images. To adaptively apply the encoded retouching style to new images, we further propose \textit{retrieval-augmented retouching} (RAR), which retrieves and aggregates style latents from reference pairs most similar in content to the query image. With these components, \textbf{RefRetouch} enables superior and generic content-aware retouching personalization across diverse scenarios, including single-reference, multi-reference, and mixed-style settings, while also generalizing out of the box to photorealistic style transfer.

Restore Text First, Enhance Image Later: Two-Stage Scene Text Image Super-Resolution with Glyph Structure Guidance

Current image super-resolution methods show strong performance on natural images but distort text, creating a fundamental trade-off between image quality and textual readability. To address this, we introduce TIGER (Text-Image Guided supEr-Resolution), a novel two-stage framework that breaks this trade-off through a "text-first, image-later" paradigm. TIGER explicitly decouples glyph restoration from image enhancement: it first reconstructs precise text structures and uses them to guide full-image super-resolution. This ensures high fidelity and readability. To support comprehensive training and evaluation, we present the UZ-ST (UltraZoom-Scene Text) dataset, the first Chinese scene text dataset with extreme zoom. Extensive experiments show TIGER achieves state-of-the-art performance, enhancing readability and image quality.

WildSplat: Feedforward Gaussian Splatting from Unposed In-the-Wild Images

While feedforward 3D reconstruction excels at efficient novel view synthesis, it typically falters when faced with scenes under varying illumination. To this end, we introduce WildSplat, the first feedforward 3D Gaussian Splatting framework capable of appearance-conditioned novel-view synthesis for unposed in-the-wild images. To handle inconsistent photometric conditions, we propose a dual-branch architecture that explicitly decouples geometry from appearance. The geometry branch extracts an appearance-invariant 3D structure and jointly predicts camera poses. To govern the rendering appearance, the appearance branch injects target appearance cues into the content features via a globally pre-modulated cross-attention mechanism. To further prevent feature entanglement, we introduce a joint multi-reference training strategy that stabilizes the training process. Extensive experiments show that WildSplat surpasses existing optimization-based and feedforward methods, achieving state-of-the-art performance in in-the-wild novel view synthesis and appearance editing from sparse inputs in a single forward pass.

TinySR: Pruning Diffusion for Real-World Image Super-Resolution

Real-world image super-resolution (Real-ISR) focuses on recovering high-quality images from low-resolution inputs that suffer from complex degradations like noise, blur, and compression. Recently, diffusion models (DMs) have shown great potential in this area by leveraging strong generative priors to restore fine details. However, their iterative denoising process incurs high computational overhead, posing challenges for real-time applications. Although one-step distillation methods, such as OSEDiff and TSD-SR, offer faster inference, they remain fundamentally constrained by their large, over-parameterized model architectures. In this work, we present TinySR, a compact yet effective diffusion model specifically designed for Real-ISR that achieves real-time performance while maintaining perceptual quality. We introduce a Dynamic Inter-block Activation and an Expansion-Corrosion Strategy to facilitate more effective decision-making in depth pruning. We achieve VAE compression through channel pruning, attention removal and lightweight SepConv. We eliminate time- and prompt-related modules and perform pre-caching techniques to further speed up the model. TinySR significantly reduces computational cost and model size, achieving up to 5.68x speedup and 83% parameter reduction compared to its teacher TSD-SR, while still providing high quality results.

C$^2$FG: Control Classifier-Free Guidance via Score Discrepancy Analysis

Classifier-Free Guidance (CFG) is a cornerstone of modern conditional diffusion models, yet its reliance on the fixed or heuristic dynamic guidance weight is predominantly empirical and overlooks the inherent dynamics of the diffusion process. In this paper, we provide a rigorous theoretical analysis of the Classifier-Free Guidance. Specifically, we establish strict upper bounds on the score discrepancy between conditional and unconditional distributions at different timesteps based on the diffusion process. This finding explains the limitations of fixed-weight strategies and establishes a principled foundation for time-dependent guidance. Motivated by this insight, we introduce \textbf{Control Classifier-Free Guidance (C$^2$FG)}, a novel, training-free, and plug-in method that aligns the guidance strength with the diffusion dynamics via an exponential decay control function. Extensive experiments demonstrate that C$^2$FG is effective and broadly applicable across diverse generative tasks, while also exhibiting orthogonality to existing strategies.

VeraRetouch: A Lightweight Fully Differentiable Framework for Multi-Task Reasoning Photo Retouching

Reasoning photo retouching has gained significant traction, requiring models to analyze image defects, give reasoning processes, and execute precise retouching enhancements. However, existing approaches often rely on non-differentiable external software, creating optimization barriers and suffering from high parameter redundancy and limited generalization. To address these challenges, we propose VeraRetouch, a lightweight and fully differentiable framework for multi-task photo retouching. We employ a 0.5B Vision-Language Model (VLM) as the central intelligence to formulate retouching plans based on instructions and scene semantics. Furthermore, we develop a fully differentiable Retouch Renderer that replaces external tools, enabling direct end-to-end pixel-level training through decoupled control latents for lighting, global color, and specific color adjustments. To overcome data scarcity, we introduce AetherRetouch-1M+, the first million-scale dataset for professional retouching, constructed via a new inverse degradation workflow. Furthermore, we propose DAPO-AE, a reinforcement learning post-training strategy that enhances autonomous aesthetic cognition. Extensive experiments demonstrate that VeraRetouch achieves state-of-the-art performance across multiple benchmarks while maintaining a significantly smaller footprint, enabling mobile deployment. Towards Photorealistic and Efficient Bokeh Rendering via Diffusion Framework

Existing mobile devices are constrained by compact optical designs, such as small apertures, which make it difficult to produce natural, optically realistic bokeh effects. Although recent learning-based methods have shown promising results, they still struggle with photos captured under high digital zoom levels, which often suffer from reduced resolution and loss of fine details. A naive solution is to enhance image quality before applying bokeh rendering, yet this two-stage pipeline reduces efficiency and introduces unnecessary error accumulation. To overcome these limitations, we propose MagicBokeh, a unified diffusion-based framework designed for high-quality and efficient bokeh rendering. Through an alternative training strategy and a focus-aware masked attention mechanism, our method jointly optimizes bokeh rendering and super-resolution, substantially improving both controllability and visual fidelity. Furthermore, we introduce degradation-aware depth module to enable more accurate depth estimation from low-quality inputs. Experimental results demonstrate that MagicBokeh efficiently produces photorealistic bokeh effects, particularly on real-world low-resolution images, paving the way for future advancements in bokeh rendering. EditRefiner: A Human-Aligned Agentic Framework for Image Editing Refinement

Recent text-guided image editing (TIE) models have made remarkable progress, yet edited images still frequently suffer from fine-grained issues such as unnatural objects, lighting mismatch, and unexpected changes. Existing refinement approaches either rely on costly iterative regeneration or employ vision-language models (VLMs) with weak spatial grounding, often resulting in semantic drift and unreliable local corrections. To address these limitations, we first construct EditFHF-15K, a dataset of fine-grained human feedback for edited images, comprising (1) 15K images from 12 TIE models spanning 43 editing tasks, (2) 60K annotated artifact regions and 80K editing failure regions, each accompanied by textual reasoning, and (3) 45K mean opinion scores (MOSs) assessing perceptual quality, instruction following, and visual consistency. Based on EditFHF-15K, we propose EditRefiner, a hierarchical, interpretable, and human-aligned agentic framework that reformulates post-editing correction as a human-like perception-reasoning-action-evaluation loop. Specifically, we introduce: (1) a perception agent that detects contextual saliency maps of artifacts and editing failures, (2) a reasoning agent that interprets these perceptual cues to perform human-aligned diagnostic inference, (3) an action agent that uses the reasoning output to plan and execute localized re-editing, and (4) an evaluation agent that assesses the re-edited image and guides the action agent on whether further refinements are required. Extensive experiments demonstrate that EditRefiner consistently outperforms state-of-the-art methods in distortion localization, diagnose accuracy and human perception alignment, establishing a new paradigm for self-corrective and perceptually reliable image editing. SmartPhotoCrafter: Unified Reasoning, Generation and Optimization for Automatic Photographic Image Editing

Traditional photographic image editing typically requires users to possess sufficient aesthetic understanding to provide appropriate instructions for adjusting image quality and camera parameters. However, this paradigm relies on explicit human instruction of aesthetic intent, which is often ambiguous, incomplete, or inaccessible to non-expert users. In this work, we propose SmartPhotoCrafter, an automatic photographic image editing method which formulates image editing as a tightly coupled reasoning-to-generation process. The proposed model first performs image quality comprehension and identifies deficiencies by the Image Critic module, and then the Photographic Artist module realizes targeted edits to enhance image appeal, eliminating the need for explicit human instructions. A multi-stage training pipeline is adopted: (i) Foundation pretraining to establish basic aesthetic understanding and editing capabilities, (ii) Adaptation with reasoning-guided multi-edit supervision to incorporate rich semantic guidance, and (iii) Coordinated reasoning-to generation reinforcement learning to jointly optimize reasoning and generation. During training, SmartPhotoCrafter emphasizes photo-realistic image generation, while supporting both image restoration and retouching tasks with consistent adherence to color- and tone-related semantics. We also construct a stage-specific dataset, which progressively builds reasoning and controllable generation, effective cross-module collaboration, and ultimately high-quality photographic enhancement. Experiments demonstrate that SmartPhotoCrafter outperforms existing generative models on the task of automatic photographic enhancement, achieving photo-realistic results while exhibiting higher tonal sensitivity to retouching instructions. LiveMoments: Reselected Key Photo Restoration in Live Photos via Reference-guided Diffusion

Live Photo captures both a high-quality key photo and a short video clip to preserve the precious dynamics around the captured moment. While users may choose alternative frames as the key photo to capture better expressions or timing, these frames often exhibit noticeable quality degradation, as the photo capture ISP pipeline delivers significantly higher image quality than the video pipeline. This quality gap highlights the need for dedicated restoration techniques to enhance the reselected key photo. To this end, we propose LiveMoments, a reference-guided image restoration framework tailored for the reselected key photo in Live Photos. Our method employs a two-branch neural network: a reference branch that extracts structural and textural information from the original high-quality key photo, and a main branch that restores the reselected frame using the guidance provided by the reference branch. Furthermore, we introduce a unified Motion Alignment module that incorporates motion guidance for spatial alignment at both the latent and image levels. Experiments on real and synthetic Live Photos demonstrate that LiveMoments significantly improves perceptual quality and fidelity over existing solutions, especially in scenes with fast motion or complex structures. Our code is available at https://github.com/OpenVeraTeam/LiveMoments.

HyperMotionX: The Dataset and Benchmark with DiT-Based Pose-Guided Human Image Animation of Complex Motions

Recent advances in diffusion models have significantly improved conditional video generation, particularly in the pose-guided human image animation task. Although existing methods are capable of generating high-fidelity and time-consistent animation sequences in regular motions and static scenes. However there are still obvious limitations when facing complex human body motions that contain highly dynamic, non-standard motions, and the lack of a high-quality benchmark for evaluation of complex human motion animations. To address this challenge, we propose a concise yet powerful DiT-based human animation generation baseline and design spatial low-frequency enhanced RoPE, a novel module that selectively enhances low-frequency spatial feature modeling by introducing learnable frequency scaling. Furthermore, we introduce the Open-HyperMotionX Dataset and HyperMotionX Bench, which provide high-quality human pose annotations and curated video clips for evaluating and improving pose-guided human image animation models under complex human motion conditions. Our method significantly improves structural stability and appearance consistency in highly dynamic human motion sequences. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our dataset and proposed approach in advancing the generation quality of complex human motion image animations. The codes, model weights, and dataset have been made publicly available at https://vivocameraresearch.github.io/hypermotion/

MagicWorld: Towards Long-Horizon Stability for Interactive Video World Exploration

Recent interactive video world model methods generate scene evolution conditioned on user instructions. Although they achieve impressive results, two key limitations remain. First, they exhibit motion drift in complex environments with multiple interacting subjects, where dynamic subjects fail to follow realistic motion patterns during scene evolution. Second, they suffer from error accumulation in long-horizon interactions, where autoregressive generation gradually drifts from earlier scene states and causes structural and semantic inconsistencies. In this paper, we propose MagicWorld, an interactive video world model built upon an autoregressive framework. To address motion drift, we incorporate a flow-guided motion preservation constraint that mitigates motion degradation in dynamic subjects, encouraging realistic motion patterns and stable interactions during scene evolution. To mitigate error accumulation in long-horizon interactions, we design two complementary strategies, including a history cache retrieval strategy and an enhanced interactive training strategy. The former reinforces historical scene states by retrieving past generations during interaction, while the latter adopts multi-shot aggregated distillation with dual-reward weighting for interactive training, enhancing long-term stability and reducing error accumulation. In addition, we construct RealWM120K, a real-world dataset with diverse city-walk videos and multimodal annotations to support dynamic perception and long-horizon world modeling. Experimental results demonstrate that MagicWorld improves motion realism and alleviates error accumulation during long-horizon interactions.

EditHF-1M: A Million-Scale Rich Human Preference Feedback for Image Editing

Recent text-guided image editing (TIE) models have achieved remarkable progress, while many edited images still suffer from issues such as artifacts, unexpected editings, unaesthetic contents. Although some benchmarks and methods have been proposed for evaluating edited images, scalable evaluation models are still lacking, which limits the development of human feedback reward models for image editing. To address the challenges, we first introduce \textbf{EditHF-1M}, a million-scale image editing dataset with over 29M human preference pairs and 148K human mean opinion ratings, both evaluated from three dimensions, \textit{i.e.}, visual quality, instruction alignment, and attribute preservation. Based on EditHF-1M, we propose \textbf{EditHF}, a multimodal large language model (MLLM) based evaluation model, to provide human-aligned feedback from image editing. Finally, we introduce \textbf{EditHF-Reward}, which utilizes EditHF as the reward signal to optimize the text-guided image editing models through reinforcement learning. Extensive experiments show that EditHF achieves superior alignment with human preferences and demonstrates strong generalization on other datasets. Furthermore, we fine-tune the Qwen-Image-Edit using EditHF-Reward, achieving significant performance improvements, which demonstrates the ability of EditHF to serve as a reward model to scale-up the image editing. Both the dataset and code will be released in our GitHub repository: https://github.com/IntMeGroup/EditHF.

Anchor Forcing: Anchor Memory and Tri-Region RoPE for Interactive Streaming Video Diffusion

Interactive long video generation requires prompt switching to introduce new subjects or events, while maintaining perceptual fidelity and coherent motion over extended horizons. Recent distilled streaming video diffusion models reuse a rolling KV cache for long-range generation, enabling prompt-switch interaction through re-cache at each switch. However, existing streaming methods still exhibit progressive quality degradation and weakened motion dynamics. We identify two failure modes specific to interactive streaming generation: (i) at each prompt switch, current cache maintenance cannot simultaneously retain KV-based semantic context and recent latent cues, resulting in weak boundary conditioning and reduced perceptual quality; and (ii) during distillation, unbounded time indexing induces a positional distribution shift from the pretrained backbone's bounded RoPE regime, weakening pretrained motion priors and long-horizon motion retention. To address these issues, we propose \textbf{Anchor Forcing}, a cache-centric framework with two designs. First, an anchor-guided re-cache mechanism stores KV states in anchor caches and warm-starts re-cache from these anchors at each prompt switch, reducing post-switch evidence loss and stabilizing perceptual quality. Second, a tri-region RoPE with region-specific reference origins, together with RoPE re-alignment distillation, reconciles unbounded streaming indices with the pretrained RoPE regime to better retain motion priors. Experiments on long videos show that our method improves perceptual quality and motion metrics over prior streaming baselines in interactive settings.
