A Multi-Branch Hierarchy-Aware Framework for Heterogeneous Audio Classification

This technical report describes our system for Task 1 of the DCASE 2026 Challenge, which aims to classify heterogeneous audio recordings according to the Broad Sound Taxonomy (BST). The task requires both accurate second-level prediction and consistency with the top-level taxonomy. Our system is built on CLAP-based audio-text representations and is improved along three strategies: expanding the training set with a filtered subset of BSD35k, enhancing acoustic modeling with feature-specific branches, and refining predictions using hierarchy-aware classifiers and KNN-based post-processing. Among the acoustic features considered, the log-STFT branch provides the strongest single-model performance. With KNN-based post-processing, our best single system achieves a hierarchical F1 score (Hier. F1) of 80.84% on the BSD10k-v1.2 set under the same evaluation protocol as the baseline. We further construct ensemble systems by combining models with complementary acoustic features and classification heads, achieving Hier. F1 scores of 81.25% and 81.18%, respectively.

RealDexUMI: A Wearable Universal Manipulation Interface for Dexterous Robot Learning

Learning dexterous manipulation requires demonstrations that preserve fine hand-object interactions while remaining executable at deployment. Existing pipelines either lose deployable dexterity through retargeting or embodiment conversion, or rely on robot-specific teleoperation that is costly to scale and often lacks intuitive, contact-aware control for dexterous data collection. We present RealDexUMI, a wearable universal manipulation interface built around a shared dexterous end-effector module that integrates a lightweight dexterous hand, in-hand vision, and fingertip tactile sensing. A palm-side isomorphic teleoperation glove maps human finger inputs to robot-hand joint commands, enabling real-time, retargeting-free, intuitive, and precise hand control. The shared hand and sensing modules yield zero-gap end-effector data, with matched in-hand observations, tactile signals, contacts, and hand actions between collection and deployment. Across eight real-robot tasks spanning fine-grained, contact-rich, long-horizon, and bimanual manipulation, policies trained on RealDexUMI data achieve an average success rate of 88.75%, generalize to unseen initial poses, and transfer across three embodiments. EgoEMG: A Multimodal Egocentric Dataset with Bilateral EMG and Vision for Hand Pose Estimation

Surface electromyography (sEMG) records muscle activity during hand movement and can be decoded to recover detailed hand articulation. EMG and egocentric vision are complementary for hand sensing: EMG captures fine-grained finger articulation even under occlusion and poor lighting, while vision provides global hand configuration. However, no existing dataset synchronizes both modalities. We present EgoEMG, a multimodal egocentric dataset for bimanual hand pose estimation. EgoEMG includes bilateral wristband EMG with 16 total channels (8 per wrist) sampled at 2 kHz, 120 Hz IMU, egocentric wide-angle RGB video, external RGB-D video, and mocap-derived hand motion with wrist articulation angles. The dataset covers 41 participants performing 60 gesture classes, including 30 single-hand gestures and 30 bimanual gestures, totaling more than 10 hours of recording. We also introduce a benchmark with three tasks -- EMG-to-pose, vision-to-pose, and EMG+vision fusion -- under a shared joint-angle prediction target and common generalization split axes (cross-gesture, cross-user, and combined). As baselines, we evaluate EMGFormer for EMG-to-pose and generic ResNet/ViT backbones for vision-to-pose. We further study a residual fusion architecture that improves over matched lightweight vision-only baselines. Together, EgoEMG and its benchmark establish a foundation for future research on multimodal hand pose estimation with EMG and vision.

MacPrompt: Maraconic-guided Jailbreak against Text-to-Image Models

Text-to-image (T2I) models have raised increasing safety concerns due to their capacity to generate NSFW and other banned objects. To mitigate these risks, safety filters and concept removal techniques have been introduced to block inappropriate prompts or erase sensitive concepts from the models. However, all the existing defense methods are not well prepared to handle diverse adversarial prompts. In this work, we introduce MacPrompt, a novel black-box and cross-lingual attack that reveals previously overlooked vulnerabilities in T2I safety mechanisms. Unlike existing attacks that rely on synonym substitution or prompt obfuscation, MacPrompt constructs macaronic adversarial prompts by performing cross-lingual character-level recombination of harmful terms, enabling fine-grained control over both semantics and appearance. By leveraging this design, MacPrompt crafts prompts with high semantic similarity to the original harmful inputs (up to 0.96) while bypassing major safety filters (up to 100%). More critically, it achieves attack success rates as high as 92% for sex-related content and 90% for violence, effectively breaking even state-of-the-art concept removal defenses. These results underscore the pressing need to reassess the robustness of existing T2I safety mechanisms against linguistically diverse and fine-grained adversarial strategies.
