FACT: A Forensic Agent with Compiled Tool-Use Trajectories for AI-Generated Image Detection

AI-generated image detection is increasingly open-world: new image generators produce highly realistic images that make visual artifacts harder to identify. Existing detectors usually rely on a fixed set of forensic cues, so a detector that works well for one generator family may fail on another. We introduce FACT (Forensic Agent with Compiled Tool-use Trajectories), which learns an image-conditioned tool-use policy for forensic analysis. Instead of applying a fixed detector, FACT decides which forensic tools to call, interprets the returned evidence, and stops when sufficient evidence has been collected. FACT follows an Evolve--Distill--Refine pipeline: it evolves an execution-verified forensic skill, compiles the skill into action--observation tool-use trajectories, distills them into a compact agent, and refines the policy with cost-aware GRPO. Across two internal and four public benchmarks, FACT achieves the best performance among all compared methods, including on recent unseen generators, deepfakes, and manipulated images.

BICPO-VLA: Behavior-Identified Continuation Preference Optimization for Smooth Asynchronous Vision-Language-Action Control

The request-to-handoff gap has three coupled sources: ambiguity about the behavior intended at request time, physical-state drift accumulated during action generation, and residual incompatibility when the new action finally assumes control. BICPO-VLA addresses them in sequence. First, an instruction-aware causal history encoder identifies the behavior supported by the command and current task progress. Second, sequential Haar subspace generation decomposes each action chunk into complementary pairwise scaffold and residual coefficients, enabling two specialized generation stages followed by exact reconstruction. By reducing iterative refinement in the original action space, it shortens the interval over which the robot continues moving before the new chunk becomes available. Finally, BICPO rolls the known outgoing actions to the actual handoff state and applies reference-relative Flow-DPO among behaviorally matched candidates, adapting the generated chunk to the remaining request-to-handoff mismatch without changing its intended behavior.

DeepVoyager-VL: Incentivizing Vision-in-the-Loop Search for Long-Horizon Multimodal Agents

Multimodal large language models (MLLMs) have advanced visual understanding and reasoning, yet their static parametric knowledge limits their ability to address knowledge-intensive and dynamically evolving open-world problems. To move beyond this limitation, multimodal deep search has emerged as a key direction for open-world information access, evolving from single-turn factual retrieval toward long-horizon, multi-turn search guided by visual evidence. However, existing methods typically confine vision to the input or answer stage, overlooking its role in intermediate reasoning, and lack designs tailored to long-horizon interaction. Consequently, visual evidence rarely drives continued retrieval, constraining both interaction depth and reasoning span. To address these limitations, we propose DeepVoyager-VL, a long-horizon multimodal deep-search framework for vision-in-the-loop search. Specifically, we construct a multimodal event graph to drive data synthesis, yielding problems with intermediate visual dependencies and long reasoning chains. We then design an agent framework for active visual acquisition and on-demand image loading. Finally, we fine-tune models on the synthesized data without reinforcement learning. Extensive experiments across ten multimodal search benchmarks demonstrate the effectiveness of our method.

BrowseComp-$V^3$: A Visual, Vertical, and Verifiable Benchmark for Multimodal Browsing Agents

Multimodal large language models (MLLMs), equipped with increasingly advanced planning and tool-use capabilities, are evolving into autonomous agents capable of performing multimodal web browsing and deep search in open-world environments. However, existing benchmarks for multimodal browsing remain limited in task complexity, evidence accessibility, and evaluation granularity, hindering comprehensive and reproducible assessments of deep search capabilities. To address these limitations, we introduce BrowseComp-$V^3$, a novel benchmark consisting of 300 carefully curated and challenging questions spanning diverse domains. The benchmark emphasizes deep, multi-level, and cross-modal multi-hop reasoning, where critical evidence is interleaved across textual and visual modalities within and across web pages. All supporting evidence is strictly required to be publicly searchable, ensuring fairness and reproducibility. Beyond final-answer accuracy, we incorporate an expert-validated, subgoal-driven process evaluation mechanism that enables fine-grained analysis of intermediate reasoning behaviors and systematic characterization of capability boundaries. In addition, we propose OmniSeeker, a unified multimodal browsing agent framework integrating diverse web search and visual perception tools. Comprehensive experiments demonstrate that even state-of-the-art models achieve only 36% accuracy on our benchmark, revealing critical bottlenecks in multimodal information integration and fine-grained perception. Our results highlight a fundamental gap between current model capabilities and robust multimodal deep search in real-world settings.

OTLRM: Orthogonal Learning-based Low-Rank Metric for Multi-Dimensional Inverse Problems

In real-world scenarios, complex data such as multispectral images and multi-frame videos inherently exhibit robust low-rank property. This property is vital for multi-dimensional inverse problems, such as tensor completion, spectral imaging reconstruction, and multispectral image denoising. Existing tensor singular value decomposition (t-SVD) definitions rely on hand-designed or pre-given transforms, which lack flexibility for defining tensor nuclear norm (TNN). The TNN-regularized optimization problem is solved by the singular value thresholding (SVT) operator, which leverages the t-SVD framework to obtain the low-rank tensor. However, it is quite complicated to introduce SVT into deep neural networks due to the numerical instability problem in solving the derivatives of the eigenvectors. In this paper, we introduce a novel data-driven generative low-rank t-SVD model based on the learnable orthogonal transform, which can be naturally solved under its representation. Prompted by the linear algebra theorem of the Householder transformation, our learnable orthogonal transform is achieved by constructing an endogenously orthogonal matrix adaptable to neural networks, optimizing it as arbitrary orthogonal matrices. Additionally, we propose a low-rank solver as a generalization of SVT, which utilizes an efficient representation of generative networks to obtain low-rank structures. Extensive experiments highlight its significant restoration enhancements.
