UME: A Unified Meta-Generalization Framework for Cross-Domain ETA

Accurate Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) prediction on checkout page is crucial in instant logistics for enhancing user satisfaction, optimizing dispatching, and controlling operational costs. In international on-demand delivery platforms, where ETA data originates from diverse countries or regions with different patterns, multi-domain modeling is of great importance and has been widely adopted. However, existing methods still face three critical challenges in real-world deployment. First, current multi-domain models struggle to generalize to completely unseen domains, failing to achieve zero-shot prediction during the initial cold-start phase. Second, cross-domain feature spaces are often assumed to be consistent, whereas new domains commonly suffer from structural missingness of offline (statistical) features due to the lack of historical data. Third, such feature missingness often compels industrial systems to model mature and cold-start domains separately, hindering knowledge transfer and increasing maintenance overhead. To address these challenges, we propose \textbf{UME}, a \textbf{U}nified \textbf{M}eta-generalization framework for \textbf{E}TA. Specifically, UME integrates a unified dual-branch architecture with a novel meta-learning mechanism that employs a hypernetwork-based meta learner. By leveraging domain-level knowledge and instance-level context, the meta learner empowers three meta modules to dynamically modulate feature gating, expert attention, and final prediction, capturing cross-domain correlations and facilitating intra-domain adaptation. A knowledge distillation strategy is further introduce to enhance performance. UME has now been deployed in Meituan-keeta delivery platform (the largest international food delivery platform in China). Extensive offline experiments and online A/B tests demonstrate that UME significantly outperforms existing baselines.

Hitem3D 2.0: Multi-View Guided Native 3D Texture Generation

Although recent advances have improved the quality of 3D texture generation, existing methods still struggle with incomplete texture coverage, cross-view inconsistency, and misalignment between geometry and texture. To address these limitations, we propose Hitem3D 2.0, a multi-view guided native 3D texture generation framework that enhances texture quality through the integration of 2D multi-view generation priors and native 3D texture representations. Hitem3D 2.0 comprises two key components: a multi-view synthesis framework and a native 3D texture generation model. The multi-view generation is built upon a pre-trained image editing backbone and incorporates plug-and-play modules that explicitly promote geometric alignment, cross-view consistency, and illumination uniformity, thereby enabling the synthesis of high-fidelity multi-view images. Conditioned on the generated views and 3D geometry, the native 3D texture generation model projects multi-view textures onto 3D surfaces while plausibly completing textures in unseen regions. Through the integration of multi-view consistency constraints with native 3D texture modeling, Hitem3D 2.0 significantly improves texture completeness, cross-view coherence, and geometric alignment. Experimental results demonstrate that Hitem3D 2.0 outperforms existing methods in terms of texture detail, fidelity, consistency, coherence, and alignment.

Adaptive Query Prompting for Multi-Domain Landmark Detection

Medical landmark detection is crucial in various medical imaging modalities and procedures. Although deep learning-based methods have achieve promising performance, they are mostly designed for specific anatomical regions or tasks. In this work, we propose a universal model for multi-domain landmark detection by leveraging transformer architecture and developing a prompting component, named as Adaptive Query Prompting (AQP). Instead of embedding additional modules in the backbone network, we design a separate module to generate prompts that can be effectively extended to any other transformer network. In our proposed AQP, prompts are learnable parameters maintained in a memory space called prompt pool. The central idea is to keep the backbone frozen and then optimize prompts to instruct the model inference process. Furthermore, we employ a lightweight decoder to decode landmarks from the extracted features, namely Light-MLD. Thanks to the lightweight nature of the decoder and AQP, we can handle multiple datasets by sharing the backbone encoder and then only perform partial parameter tuning without incurring much additional cost. It has the potential to be extended to more landmark detection tasks. We conduct experiments on three widely used X-ray datasets for different medical landmark detection tasks. Our proposed Light-MLD coupled with AQP achieves SOTA performance on many metrics even without the use of elaborate structural designs or complex frameworks.

The block mutual coherence property condition for signal recovery

Compressed sensing shows that a sparse signal can stably be recovered from incomplete linear measurements. But, in practical applications, some signals have additional structure, where the nonzero elements arise in some blocks. We call such signals as block-sparse signals. In this paper, the $\ell_2/\ell_1-\alpha\ell_2$ minimization method for the stable recovery of block-sparse signals is investigated. Sufficient conditions based on block mutual coherence property and associating upper bound estimations of error are established to ensure that block-sparse signals can be stably recovered in the presence of noise via the $\ell_2/\ell_1-\alpha\ell_2$ minimization method. For all we know, it is the first block mutual coherence property condition of stably reconstructing block-sparse signals by the $\ell_2/\ell_1-\alpha\ell_2$ minimization method. Additionally, the numerical experiments implemented verify the performance of the $\ell_2/\ell_1-\alpha\ell_2$ minimization.

The perturbation analysis of nonconvex low-rank matrix robust recovery

In this paper, we bring forward a completely perturbed nonconvex Schatten $p$-minimization to address a model of completely perturbed low-rank matrix recovery. The paper that based on the restricted isometry property generalizes the investigation to a complete perturbation model thinking over not only noise but also perturbation, gives the restricted isometry property condition that guarantees the recovery of low-rank matrix and the corresponding reconstruction error bound. In particular, the analysis of the result reveals that in the case that $p$ decreases $0$ and $a>1$ for the complete perturbation and low-rank matrix, the condition is the optimal sufficient condition $\delta_{2r}<1$ \cite{Recht et al 2010}. The numerical experiments are conducted to show better performance, and provides outperformance of the nonconvex Schatten $p$-minimization method comparing with the convex nuclear norm minimization approach in the completely perturbed scenario.

The high-order block RIP for non-convex block-sparse compressed sensing

This paper concentrates on the recovery of block-sparse signals, which is not only sparse but also nonzero elements are arrayed into some blocks (clusters) rather than being arbitrary distributed all over the vector, from linear measurements. We establish high-order sufficient conditions based on block RIP to ensure the exact recovery of every block $s$-sparse signal in the noiseless case via mixed $l_2/l_p$ minimization method, and the stable and robust recovery in the case that signals are not accurately block-sparse in the presence of noise. Additionally, a lower bound on necessary number of random Gaussian measurements is gained for the condition to be true with overwhelming probability. Furthermore, the numerical experiments conducted demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm.

An Optimal Condition of Robust Low-rank Matrices Recovery

In this paper we investigate the reconstruction conditions of nuclear norm minimization for low-rank matrix recovery. We obtain sufficient conditions $\delta_{tr}<t/(4-t)$ with $0<t<4/3$ to guarantee the robust reconstruction $(z\neq0)$ or exact reconstruction $(z=0)$ of all rank $r$ matrices $X\in\mathbb{R}^{m\times n}$ from $b=\mathcal{A}(X)+z$ via nuclear norm minimization. Furthermore, we not only show that when $t=1$, the upper bound of $\delta_r<1/3$ is the same as the result of Cai and Zhang \cite{Cai and Zhang}, but also demonstrate that the gained upper bounds concerning the recovery error are better. Moreover, we prove that the restricted isometry property condition is sharp. Besides, the numerical experiments are conducted to reveal the nuclear norm minimization method is stable and robust for the recovery of low-rank matrix.

On the distributional expansions of powered extremes from Maxwell distribution

In this paper, asymptotic expansions of the distributions and densities of powered extremes for Maxwell samples are considered. The results show that the convergence speeds of normalized partial maxima relies on the powered index. Additionally, compared with previous result, the convergence rate of the distribution of powered extreme from Maxwell samples is faster than that of its extreme. Finally, numerical analysis is conducted to illustrate our findings.

Expansions of maximum and minimum from Generalized Maxwell distribution

Generalized Maxwell distribution is an extension of the classic Maxwell distribution. In this paper, we concentrate on the joint distributional asymptotics of normalized maxima and minima. Under optimal normalizing constants, asymptotic expansions of joint distribution and density for normalized partial maxima and minima are established. These expansions are used to educe speeds of convergence of joint distribution and density of normalized maxima and minima tending to its corresponding ultimate limits. Numerical analysis are provided to support our results.

An analysis of noise folding for low-rank matrix recovery

Previous work regarding low-rank matrix recovery has concentrated on the scenarios in which the matrix is noise-free and the measurements are corrupted by noise. However, in practical application, the matrix itself is usually perturbed by random noise preceding to measurement. This paper concisely investigates this scenario and evidences that, for most measurement schemes utilized in compressed sensing, the two models are equivalent with the central distinctness that the noise associated with (\ref{eq.3}) is larger by a factor to $mn/M$, where $m,~n$ are the dimension of the matrix and $M$ is the number of measurements. Additionally, this paper discusses the reconstruction of low-rank matrices in the setting, presents sufficient conditions based on the associating null space property to guarantee the robust recovery and obtains the number of measurements. Furthermore, for the non-Gaussian noise scenario, we further explore it and give the corresponding result. The simulation experiments conducted, on the one hand show effect of noise variance on recovery performance, on the other hand demonstrate the verifiability of the proposed model.

RIP-based performance guarantee for low-tubal-rank tensor recovery

The essential task of tensor data analysis focuses on the tensor decomposition and the corresponding notion of rank. In this paper, by introducing the notion of tensor Singular Value Decomposition (t-SVD), we establish a Regularized Tensor Nuclear Norm Minimization (RTNNM) model for low-tubal-rank tensor recovery. As we know that many variants of the Restricted Isometry Property (RIP) have proven to be crucial analysis tools for sparse recovery. In the t-SVD framework, we initiatively define a novel tensor Restricted Isometry Property (t-RIP). Furthermore, we show that any third-order tensor $\boldsymbol{\mathcal{X}}$ can stably be recovered from few linear noise measurements under some certain t-RIP conditions via the RTNNM model. We note that, as far as the authors are aware, such kind of result has not previously been reported in the literature.

Tensor Restricted Isometry Property Analysis For a Large Class of Random Measurement Ensembles

In previous work, theoretical analysis based on the tensor Restricted Isometry Property (t-RIP) established the robust recovery guarantees of a low-tubal-rank tensor. The obtained sufficient conditions depend strongly on the assumption that the linear measurement maps satisfy the t-RIP. In this paper, by exploiting the probabilistic arguments, we prove that such linear measurement maps exist under suitable conditions on the number of measurements in terms of the tubal rank r and the size of third-order tensor n1, n2, n3. And the obtained minimal possible number of linear measurements is nearly optimal compared with the degrees of freedom of a tensor with tubal rank r. Specially, we consider a random sub-Gaussian distribution that includes Gaussian, Bernoulli and all bounded distributions and construct a large class of linear maps that satisfy a t-RIP with high probability. Moreover, the validity of the required number of measurements is verified by numerical experiments.

New sufficient conditions of signal recovery with tight frames via $l_1$-analysis

The paper discusses the recovery of signals in the case that signals are nearly sparse with respect to a tight frame $D$ by means of the $l_1$-analysis approach. We establish several new sufficient conditions regarding the $D$-restricted isometry property to ensure stable reconstruction of signals that are approximately sparse with respect to $D$. It is shown that if the measurement matrix $\Phi$ fulfils the condition $\delta_{ts}<t/(4-t)$ for $0<t<4/3$, then signals which are approximately sparse with respect to $D$ can be stably recovered by the $l_1$-analysis method. In the case of $D=I$, the bound is sharp, see Cai and Zhang's work \cite{Cai and Zhang 2014}. When $t=1$, the present bound improves the condition $\delta_s<0.307$ from Lin et al.'s reuslt to $\delta_s<1/3$.

A sharp sufficient condition of block signal recovery via $l_2/l_1$-minimization

This work gains a sharp sufficient condition on the block restricted isometry property for the recovery of sparse signal. Under the certain assumption, the signal with block structure can be stably recovered in the present of noisy case and the block sparse signal can be exactly reconstructed in the noise-free case. Besides, an example is proposed to exhibit the condition is sharp. As byproduct, when $t=1$, the result improves the bound of block restricted isometry constant $\delta_{s|\mathcal{I}}$ in Lin and Li (Acta Math. Sin. Engl. Ser. 29(7): 1401-1412, 2013).
