Boundedness and compactness of Bergman projection commutators in two-weight setting

The goal of this paper is to study the boundedness and compactness of the Bergman projection commutators in two weighted settings via the weighted BMO and VMO spaces, respectively. The novelty of our work lies in the distinct treatment of the symbol b in the commutator, depending on whether it is analytic or not, which turns out to be quite different. In particular, we show that an additional weight condition due to Aleman, Pott, and Reguera is necessary to study the commutators when b is not analytic, while it can be relaxed when b is analytic. In the analytic setting, we completely characterize boundedness and compactness, while in the non-analytic setting, we provide a sufficient condition which generalizes the Euclidean case and is also necessary in many cases of interest. Our work initiates a study of the commutators acting on complex function spaces with different symbols.

Experimental Witness of Quantum Jump Induced High-Order Liouvillian Exceptional Points

The exceptional point has presented considerably interesting and counterintuitive phenomena associated with nonreciprocity, precision measurement, and topological dynamics. The Liouvillian exceptional point (LEP), involving the interplay of energy loss and decoherence inherently relevant to quantum jumps, has recently drawn much attention due to capability to fully capture quantum system dynamics and naturally facilitate non-Hermitian quantum investigations. It was also predicted that quantum jumps could give rise to third-order LEPs in two-level quantum systems for its high dimensional Liouvillian superoperator, which, however, has never been experimentally confirmed until now. Here we report the first observation of the third-order LEPs emerging from quantum jumps in an ultracold two-level trapped-ion system. Moreover, by combining decay with dephasing processes, we present the first experimental exploration of LEPs involving combinatorial effect of decay and dephasing. In particular, due to non-commutativity between the Lindblad superoperators governing LEPs for decay and dephasing, we witness the movement of LEPs driven by the competition between decay and dephasing occurring in an open quantum system. This unique feature of non-Hermitian quantum systems paves a new avenue for modifying nonreciprocity, enhancing precision measurement, and manipulating topological dynamics by tuning the LEPs.

Multi-Agent Deep Research: Training Multi-Agent Systems with M-GRPO

Multi-agent systems perform well on general reasoning tasks. However, the lack of training in specialized areas hinders their accuracy. Current training methods train a unified large language model (LLM) for all agents in the system. This may limit the performances due to different distributions underlying for different agents. Therefore, training multi-agent systems with distinct LLMs should be the next step to solve. However, this approach introduces optimization challenges. For example, agents operate at different frequencies, rollouts involve varying sub-agent invocations, and agents are often deployed across separate servers, disrupting end-to-end gradient flow. To address these issues, we propose M-GRPO, a hierarchical extension of Group Relative Policy Optimization designed for vertical Multi-agent systems with a main agent (planner) and multiple sub-agents (multi-turn tool executors). M-GRPO computes group-relative advantages for both main and sub-agents, maintaining hierarchical credit assignment. It also introduces a trajectory-alignment scheme that generates fixed-size batches despite variable sub-agent invocations. We deploy a decoupled training pipeline in which agents run on separate servers and exchange minimal statistics via a shared store. This enables scalable training without cross-server backpropagation. In experiments on real-world benchmarks (e.g., GAIA, XBench-DeepSearch, and WebWalkerQA), M-GRPO consistently outperforms both single-agent GRPO and multi-agent GRPO with frozen sub-agents, demonstrating improved stability and sample efficiency. These results show that aligning heterogeneous trajectories and decoupling optimization across specialized agents enhances tool-augmented reasoning tasks.

Image Restoration via Primal Dual Hybrid Gradient and Flow Generative Model

Regularized optimization has been a classical approach to solving imaging inverse problems, where the regularization term enforces desirable properties of the unknown image. Recently, the integration of flow matching generative models into image restoration has garnered significant attention, owing to their powerful prior modeling capabilities. In this work, we incorporate such generative priors into a Plug-and-Play (PnP) framework based on proximal splitting, where the proximal operator associated with the regularizer is replaced by a time-dependent denoiser derived from the generative model. While existing PnP methods have achieved notable success in inverse problems with smooth squared $\ell_2$ data fidelity--typically associated with Gaussian noise--their applicability to more general data fidelity terms remains underexplored. To address this, we propose a general and efficient PnP algorithm inspired by the primal-dual hybrid gradient (PDHG) method. Our approach is computationally efficient, memory-friendly, and accommodates a wide range of fidelity terms. In particular, it supports both $\ell_1$ and $\ell_2$ norm-based losses, enabling robustness to non-Gaussian noise types such as Poisson and impulse noise. We validate our method on several image restoration tasks, including denoising, super-resolution, deblurring, and inpainting, and demonstrate that $\ell_1$ and $\ell_2$ fidelity terms outperform the conventional squared $\ell_2$ loss in the presence of non-Gaussian noise.

Integrating Reweighted Least Squares with Plug-and-Play Diffusion Priors for Noisy Image Restoration

Existing plug-and-play image restoration methods typically employ off-the-shelf Gaussian denoisers as proximal operators within classical optimization frameworks based on variable splitting. Recently, denoisers induced by generative priors have been successfully integrated into regularized optimization methods for image restoration under Gaussian noise. However, their application to non-Gaussian noise--such as impulse noise--remains largely unexplored. In this paper, we propose a plug-and-play image restoration framework based on generative diffusion priors for robust removal of general noise types, including impulse noise. Within the maximum a posteriori (MAP) estimation framework, the data fidelity term is adapted to the specific noise model. Departing from the conventional least-squares loss used for Gaussian noise, we introduce a generalized Gaussian scale mixture-based loss, which approximates a wide range of noise distributions and leads to an $\ell_q$-norm ($0<q\leq2$) fidelity term. This optimization problem is addressed using an iteratively reweighted least squares (IRLS) approach, wherein the proximal step involving the generative prior is efficiently performed via a diffusion-based denoiser. Experimental results on benchmark datasets demonstrate that the proposed method effectively removes non-Gaussian impulse noise and achieves superior restoration performance.

Lattice design of a storage-ring-based light source for generating high-power fully coherent EUV radiation

We present the physical design and systematic optimization of a high-performance storage ring tailored for the generation of high-power coherent radiation, with particular emphasis on the extreme ultraviolet (EUV) regime. The proposed ring adopts a Double Bend Achromat (DBA) lattice configuration and integrates 12 superconducting wigglers to significantly enhance radiation damping and minimize the natural emittance. And a bypass line is adopted to generate high power coherent radiation. Comprehensive linear and nonlinear beam dynamics analyses have been conducted to ensure beam stability and robustness across the operational parameter space. The optimized design achieves a natural emittance of approximately 0.8 nm and a longitudinal damping time of around 1.4 ms, enabling the efficient buildup of coherent radiation. Three-dimensional numerical simulations, incorporating the previously proposed angular dispersion-induced microbunching (ADM) mechanism, further confirm the system's capability to generate high-power EUV coherent radiation, with output powers reaching the order of several hundred watts. These results underscore the strong potential of the proposed design for applications in coherent photon science and EUV lithography.

Self-Rewarding Rubric-Based Reinforcement Learning for Open-Ended Reasoning

Open-ended evaluation is essential for deploying large language models in real-world settings. In studying HealthBench, we observe that using the model itself as a grader and generating rubric-based reward signals substantially improves reasoning performance. Remarkably, the trained model also becomes a stronger grader. Motivated by this, we introduce Self-Rewarding Rubric-Based Reinforcement Learning for Open-Ended Reasoning, a lightweight framework that enables faster and more resource-efficient training while surpassing baselines. Remarkably, on Qwen3-32B, training with just the 4000-sample HealthBench Easy subset is sufficient to obtain a model that exceeds GPT-5 on HealthBench Hard. Incorporating a small amount of teacher-graded data further enhances performance for less capable models.

Compactness of the Bloom sparse operators and applications

We establish the characterization of compactness for the sparse operator (associated with symbol in weighted VMO space) in the two weight setting on the spaces of homogeneous type in the sense of Coifman and Weiss. As a direct application we obtain the compactness characterization for the maximal commutators with respect to the weighted VMO functions and the commutator of Calderón-Zygmund operators on the homogeneous spaces. Furthermore, our approach can be applied to compactness characterization for operators in the multilinear Bloom setting.

Learning to Align, Aligning to Learn: A Unified Approach for Self-Optimized Alignment

Alignment methodologies have emerged as a critical pathway for enhancing language model alignment capabilities. While SFT (supervised fine-tuning) accelerates convergence through direct token-level loss intervention, its efficacy is constrained by offline policy trajectory. In contrast, RL(reinforcement learning) facilitates exploratory policy optimization, but suffers from low sample efficiency and stringent dependency on high-quality base models. To address these dual challenges, we propose GRAO (Group Relative Alignment Optimization), a unified framework that synergizes the respective strengths of SFT and RL through three key innovations: 1) A multi-sample generation strategy enabling comparative quality assessment via reward feedback; 2) A novel Group Direct Alignment Loss formulation leveraging intra-group relative advantage weighting; 3) Reference-aware parameter updates guided by pairwise preference dynamics. Our theoretical analysis establishes GRAO's convergence guarantees and sample efficiency advantages over conventional approaches. Comprehensive evaluations across complex human alignment tasks demonstrate GRAO's superior performance, achieving 57.70\%,17.65\% 7.95\% and 5.18\% relative improvements over SFT, DPO, PPO and GRPO baselines respectively. This work provides both a theoretically grounded alignment framework and empirical evidence for efficient capability evolution in language models.

BizGen: Advancing Article-level Visual Text Rendering for Infographics Generation

Recently, state-of-the-art text-to-image generation models, such as Flux and Ideogram 2.0, have made significant progress in sentence-level visual text rendering. In this paper, we focus on the more challenging scenarios of article-level visual text rendering and address a novel task of generating high-quality business content, including infographics and slides, based on user provided article-level descriptive prompts and ultra-dense layouts. The fundamental challenges are twofold: significantly longer context lengths and the scarcity of high-quality business content data. In contrast to most previous works that focus on a limited number of sub-regions and sentence-level prompts, ensuring precise adherence to ultra-dense layouts with tens or even hundreds of sub-regions in business content is far more challenging. We make two key technical contributions: (i) the construction of scalable, high-quality business content dataset, i.e., Infographics-650K, equipped with ultra-dense layouts and prompts by implementing a layer-wise retrieval-augmented infographic generation scheme; and (ii) a layout-guided cross attention scheme, which injects tens of region-wise prompts into a set of cropped region latent space according to the ultra-dense layouts, and refine each sub-regions flexibly during inference using a layout conditional CFG. We demonstrate the strong results of our system compared to previous SOTA systems such as Flux and SD3 on our BizEval prompt set. Additionally, we conduct thorough ablation experiments to verify the effectiveness of each component. We hope our constructed Infographics-650K and BizEval can encourage the broader community to advance the progress of business content generation.

MMMG: A Massive, Multidisciplinary, Multi-Tier Generation Benchmark for Text-to-Image Reasoning

In this paper, we introduce knowledge image generation as a new task, alongside the Massive Multi-Discipline Multi-Tier Knowledge-Image Generation Benchmark (MMMG) to probe the reasoning capability of image generation models. Knowledge images have been central to human civilization and to the mechanisms of human learning -- a fact underscored by dual-coding theory and the picture-superiority effect. Generating such images is challenging, demanding multimodal reasoning that fuses world knowledge with pixel-level grounding into clear explanatory visuals. To enable comprehensive evaluation, MMMG offers 4,456 expert-validated (knowledge) image-prompt pairs spanning 10 disciplines, 6 educational levels, and diverse knowledge formats such as charts, diagrams, and mind maps. To eliminate confounding complexity during evaluation, we adopt a unified Knowledge Graph (KG) representation. Each KG explicitly delineates a target image's core entities and their dependencies. We further introduce MMMG-Score to evaluate generated knowledge images. This metric combines factual fidelity, measured by graph-edit distance between KGs, with visual clarity assessment. Comprehensive evaluations of 16 state-of-the-art text-to-image generation models expose serious reasoning deficits -- low entity fidelity, weak relations, and clutter -- with GPT-4o achieving an MMMG-Score of only 50.20, underscoring the benchmark's difficulty. To spur further progress, we release FLUX-Reason (MMMG-Score of 34.45), an effective and open baseline that combines a reasoning LLM with diffusion models and is trained on 16,000 curated knowledge image-prompt pairs.

An Improved Grey Wolf Optimizer Inspired by Advanced Cooperative Predation for UAV Shortest Path Planning

With the widespread application of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in domains like military reconnaissance, emergency rescue, and logistics delivery, efficiently planning the shortest flight path has become a critical challenge. Traditional heuristic-based methods often suffer from the inability to escape from local optima, which limits their effectiveness in finding the shortest path. To address these issues, a novel Improved Grey Wolf Optimizer (IGWO) is presented in this study. The proposed IGWO incorporates an Advanced Cooperative Predation (ACP) and a Lens Opposition-based Learning Strategy (LOBL) in order to improve the optimization capability of the method. Simulation results show that IGWO ranks first in optimization performance on benchmark functions F1-F5, F7, and F9-F12, outperforming all other compared algorithms. Subsequently, IGWO is applied to UAV shortest path planning in various obstacle-laden environments. Simulation results show that the paths planned by IGWO are, on average, shorter than those planned by GWO, PSO, and WOA by 1.70m, 1.68m, and 2.00m, respectively, across four different maps.

PrismLayers: Open Data for High-Quality Multi-Layer Transparent Image Generative Models

Generating high-quality, multi-layer transparent images from text prompts can unlock a new level of creative control, allowing users to edit each layer as effortlessly as editing text outputs from LLMs. However, the development of multi-layer generative models lags behind that of conventional text-to-image models due to the absence of a large, high-quality corpus of multi-layer transparent data. In this paper, we address this fundamental challenge by: (i) releasing the first open, ultra-high-fidelity PrismLayers (PrismLayersPro) dataset of 200K (20K) multilayer transparent images with accurate alpha mattes, (ii) introducing a trainingfree synthesis pipeline that generates such data on demand using off-the-shelf diffusion models, and (iii) delivering a strong, open-source multi-layer generation model, ART+, which matches the aesthetics of modern text-to-image generation models. The key technical contributions include: LayerFLUX, which excels at generating high-quality single transparent layers with accurate alpha mattes, and MultiLayerFLUX, which composes multiple LayerFLUX outputs into complete images, guided by human-annotated semantic layout. To ensure higher quality, we apply a rigorous filtering stage to remove artifacts and semantic mismatches, followed by human selection. Fine-tuning the state-of-the-art ART model on our synthetic PrismLayersPro yields ART+, which outperforms the original ART in 60% of head-to-head user study comparisons and even matches the visual quality of images generated by the FLUX.1-[dev] model. We anticipate that our work will establish a solid dataset foundation for the multi-layer transparent image generation task, enabling research and applications that require precise, editable, and visually compelling layered imagery.

The Cauchy--Szegö Projection for domains in $\mathbb C^n$ with minimal smoothness: weighted theory

Let $D\subset\mathbb C^n$ be a bounded, strongly pseudoconvex domain whose boundary $bD$ satisfies the minimal regularity condition of class $C^2$. A 2017 result of Lanzani \& Stein states that the Cauchy--Szegö projection $S_ω$ defined with respect to a bounded, positive continuous multiple $ω$ of induced Lebesgue measure, {maps $L^p(bD, ω)$ to $L^p(bD, ω)$ continuously} for any $1<p<\infty$. Here we show that $S_ω$ satisfies explicit quantitative bounds in $L^p(bD, Ω)$, for any $1<p<\infty$ and for any $Ω$ in the maximal class of \textit{$A_p$}-measures, that is for $Ω_p = ψ_pσ$ where $ψ_p$ is a Muckenhoupt $A_p$-weight and $σ$ is the induced Lebesgue measure (with $ω$'s as above being a sub-class). Earlier results rely upon an asymptotic expansion and subsequent pointwise estimates of the Cauchy--Szegö kernel, but these are unavailable in our setting of minimal regularity {of $bD$}; at the same time, more recent techniques that allow to handle domains with minimal regularity (Lanzani--Stein 2017) are not applicable to $A_p$-measures. It turns out that the method of {quantitative} extrapolation is an appropriate replacement for the missing tools. To finish, we identify a class of holomorphic Hardy spaces defined with respect to $A_p$-measures for which a meaningful notion of Cauchy--Szegö projection can be defined when $p=2$.

Endpoint boundedness of singular integrals: CMO space associated to Schrödinger operators

Let $ \mathcal{L} = -Δ+ V $ be a Schrödinger operator acting on $ L^2(\mathbb{R}^n) $, where the nonnegative potential $ V $ belongs to the reverse Hölder class $ RH_q $ for some $ q \geq n/2 $. This article is primarily concerned with the study of endpoint boundedness for classical singular integral operators in the context of the space $ \mathrm{CMO}_{\mathcal{L}}(\mathbb{R}^n) $, consisting of functions of vanishing mean oscillation associated with $ \mathcal{L} $. We establish the following main results: (i) the standard Hardy--Littlewood maximal operator is bounded on $\mathrm{CMO}_{\mathcal{L}}(\mathbb{R}^n) $; (ii) for each $ j = 1, \ldots, n$, the adjoint of the Riesz transform $ \partial_j \mathcal{L}^{-1/2} $ is bounded from $ C_0(\mathbb{R}^n) $ into $ \mathrm{CMO}_{\mathcal{L}}(\mathbb{R}^n) $; and (iii) the approximation to the identity generated by the Poisson and heat semigroups associated with $ \mathcal{L} $ characterizes $ \mathrm{CMO}_{\mathcal{L}}(\mathbb{R}^n) $ appropriately. These results recover the classical analogues corresponding to the Laplacian as a special case. However, the presence of the potential $ V $ introduces substantial analytical challenges, necessitating tools beyond the scope of classical Calderón--Zygmund theory. Our approach leverages precise heat kernel estimates and the structural properties of $ \mathrm{CMO}_{\mathcal{L}}(\mathbb{R}^n) $ established by Song and the third author in [J. Geom. Anal. 32 (2022), no. 4, Paper No. 130, 37 pp].

The commutator of the Cauchy--Szegő Projection for domains in $\mathbb C^n$ with minimal smoothness: weighted regularity

Let $D\subset\mathbb C^n$ be a bounded, strongly pseudoconvex domain whose boundary $bD$ satisfies the minimal regularity condition of class $C^2$, and let $S_ω$ denote the Cauchy--Szegő projection defined with respect to (any) positive continuous multiple $ω$ of induced Lebesgue measure for the boundary of $D$. We characterize compactness and boundedness (the latter with explicit bounds) of the commutator $[b, S_ω]$ in the Lebesgue space $L^p(bD, Ω_p)$ where $Ω_p$ is any measure in the Muckenhoupt class $A_p(bD)$, $1<p<\infty$. We next fix $p =2$ and we let $S_{Ω_2}$ denote the Cauchy--Szegő projection defined with respect to (any) measure $Ω_2 \in A_2(bD)$, which is the largest class of reference measures for which a meaningful notion of Cauchy-Leray measure may be defined. We characterize boundedness and compactness in $L^2(bD, Ω_2)$ of the commutator $\displaystyle{[b,S_{Ω_2}]}$.

Flag Hardy space theory on Heisenberg groups and applications

We establish a complete theory of the flag Hardy space on the Heisenberg group $\mathbb H^{n}$ with characterisations via atomic decompositions, area functions, square functions, maximal functions and singular integrals. We introduce several new techniques to overcome the difficulties caused by the noncommutative Heisenberg group multiplication, and the lack of a suitable Fourier transformation and Cauchy--Riemann type equations. Applications include the boundedness from the flag Hardy space to $L^1(\mathbb H^n)$ of various singular integral operators that arise in complex analysis, a sharp boundedness result on the flag Hardy space of the Marcinkiewicz-type multipliers introduced by Müller, Ricci and Stein, and the decomposition of flag BMO space via singular integrals.
