Controllability of suspension bridge model proposed by Lazer and Mckenna under the influence of impulses, delays, and non-local conditions

The main purpose of this paper is to prove the controllability of the model proposed by Lazer and Mckenna under the influence of impulses, delay, and non-local conditions. First, we study approximate controllability by employing a technique that pulls back the control solution to a fixed curve in a short time interval. Subsequently, based on Banach Fixed Point Theorem we investigate the exact controllability.

Approximate controllability of semi-linear heat equation with Non-instantaneous impulses, memory and delay

The semilinear heat equation with non-instantaneous impulses \textbf{(NII)}, memory, and delay is considered and its approximate controllability is obtained. This is done by employing a technique that avoids fixed point theorems and pulls back the control solution to a fixed curve in a short time interval. We demonstrate, once again, that the controllability of the system is robust under the influence of non-instantaneous impulses, memory, and delays. Finally, we present some open problems and a possible general framework to study the controllability of non-instantaneous impulses semilinear systems.

Controllability of Impulsive Semilinear Evolution Equations with Memory and Delay in Hilbert Spaces

Inspired in our work on the controllability for the semilinear with memory \cite{Carrasco-Guevara-Leiva:2017aa, Guevara-Leiva:2016aa, Guevara-Leiva:2017aa}, we present the general cases for the approximate controllability of impulsive semilinear evolution equations in a Hilbert space with memory and delay terms which arise from reaction-diffusion models. We prove that, for each initial and an arbitrary neighborhood of a final state, one can steer the system from the initial condition to this neighborhood of the final condition with an appropriated collection of admissible controls thanks to the delays. Our proof is based on semigroup theory and A.E. Bashirov et al. technique \cite{Bashirov-Ghahramanlou:2015aa, Bashirov-Jneid:2013aa, Bashirov-Mahmudov:2007aa} which avoids fixed point theorems.

Controllability of the impulsive semi linear beam equation with memory and delay

The semilinear beam equation with impulses, memory and delay is considered. We obtain the approximate controllability. This is done by employing a technique that avoids fixed point theorems and pulling back the control solution to a fixed curve in a short time interval. Demonstrating, once again, that the controllability of a system is robust under the influence of impulses and delays.

Controllability of the Strongly Damped Impulsive Semilinear Wave Equation with Memory and Delay

This article is devoted to study the interior approximated controllability of the strongly damped semilinear wave equation with memory, impulses and delay terms. The problem is challenging since the state equation contains memory and impulsive terms yielding to potential unbounded control sequences steering the system to a neighborhood of the final state, thus fixed point theorems cannot be used directly. As alternative, the A.E Bashirov and et al. techniques are applied and together with the delay allow the control solution to be directed to fixed curve in a short time interval and achieve our result.

Controllability of the Laguerre and the Jacobi Equations

In this paper we study the controllability of the controlled Laguerre equation and the controlled Jacobi equation. For each case, we found conditions which guarantee when such systems are approximately controllable on the interval $[0, t_1]$. Moreover, we show that these systems can never be exactly controllable
