Comparing large-scale graphs based on quantum probability theory

In this paper, a new measurement to compare two large-scale graphs based on the theory of quantum probability is proposed. An explicit form for the spectral distribution of the corresponding adjacency matrix of a graph is established. Our proposed distance between two graphs is defined as the distance between the corresponding moment matrices of their spectral distributions. It is shown that the spectral distributions of their adjacency matrices in a vector state includes information not only about their eigenvalues, but also about the corresponding eigenvectors. Moreover, we prove that such distance is graph invariant and sub-structure invariant. Examples with various graphs are given, and distances between graphs with few vertices are checked. Computational results for real large-scale networks show that its accuracy is better than any existing methods and time cost is extensively cheap.

Structure for $g$-Metric Spaces and Related Fixed Point Theorems

In this paper, we propose a generalized notion of a distance function, called a $g$-metric. The $g$-metric with degree $n$ is a distance of $n+1$ points, generalizing the ordinary distance between two points and $G$-metric between three points. Indeed, it is shown that the $g$-metric with degree 1 (resp. degree 2) is equivalent to the ordinary metric (resp. the $G$-metric). Fundamental properties and several examples for the $g$-metric are also given. Moreover, topological properties on the $g$-metric space including the convergence of sequences and the continuity of mappings on the $g$-metric space are studied. Finally, we generalize some well-known fixed point theorems including Banach contraction mapping principle and Ćirić fixed point theorem in the $g$-metric space.

Sparse Hamburger Moment Sequences

Putinar and Vasilescu [6] have given an algebraic characterization of Hamburger moment sequences in several variables. In this paper we study some sparse moment subsequences of Hamburger moment sequences and consider the problem of completion of these moment subsequences.

Positive definite Hankel matrix completions and Hamburger moment completions

In this paper we give solutions to Hamburger moment problems with missing entries. The problem of completing partial positive sequences is considered. The main result is a characterization of positive definite completable patterns, namely patterns that guarantee the existence of Hamburger moment completion of a partial positive definite sequence. Moreover, several patterns which are not positive definite completable are given.
