L2G-Map: Local-to-Global Mapping via Hierarchical Diffusion Refinement and Elliptical Bayesian Fusion

Offline high-definition maps provide essential geometric and topological priors for autonomous driving systems. Pure-vision solutions have become the predominant paradigm for offline mapping due to their cost-effectiveness and scalability. However, local-to-global mapping under visual conditions confronts two fundamental challenges: single-shot local observations are susceptible to viewpoint variation and environmental interference, leading to geometric deviations, while multi-source local information exhibits heterogeneous confidence, rendering globally consistent aggregation difficult. To address these, this paper proposes L2G-Map, a framework comprising hierarchical prior diffusion refinement and elliptical space Bayesian fusion. The former jointly embeds temporal context and centerline priors to guide structure completion and topology recovery during denoising, alleviating the information incompleteness inherent in pure-vision settings. The latter incorporates an adaptive weighting strategy driven by elliptical distance propagation, enabling probabilistically optimal aggregation of multi-source information under the Bayesian posterior update paradigm. Extensive experiments on nuScenes and Argoverse benchmark datasets verify the effectiveness of L2G-Map. The proposed refinement component yields consistent local map accuracy improvements across different datasets. Under sensor-degraded conditions, a 3.27% mIoU gain is achieved. Furthermore, the adaptive fusion component significantly enhances the accuracy of global maps. The fused global map can be flexibly embedded into different online map models, yielding an 18.26% mIoU improvement in semantic map construction and a 20.00% enhancement in vectorized map construction, demonstrating the overall advantages of the proposed closed-loop pipeline. Gauge-covariant magnetic Bloch sums for general multiorbital Hofstadter models

We formulate a unified treatment of the Hofstadter problem for general two-dimensional multiorbital Peierls tight-binding Hamiltonians using a gauge-covariant magnetic Bloch-sum basis. The construction retains the full Bravais geometry, arbitrary intracell orbital positions, and the original hopping table, so lattice geometry, orbital embedding, hopping range, and orbital content can all be handled within the same framework. At rational flux $Φ/Φ_0=p/q$, commuting magnetic translations reduce the Peierls Hamiltonian to minimal $qN_{\rm orb}\times qN_{\rm orb}$ blocks. Their dimension depends only on the flux through the primitive cell, even when the fractional orbital coordinates are irrational. Electromagnetic gauge transformations act by unitary conjugation within the construction and do not alter the required magnetic supercell. We derive an explicit sparse matrix in an oblique Landau gauge and establish the associated band counting, spectral redundancy, Chern-number formulation, magnetic spatial constraints, and flux periodicity. Numerical examples include elementary lattices, topological and flat-band models, and a spinful 22-band Wannier Hamiltonian of monolayer $\mathrm{MoS}_2$, demonstrating a direct interface with first-principles electronic-structure calculations. As a complementary representation, we also derive exact generalized Harper equations from the same hopping data and relate them to the finite magnetic-Bloch blocks.

AgenticGen: Reward-Guided Agentic Video Generation for Advertising

Advertising video generation is not only a video synthesis task, but also a product-conditioned reasoning problem whose success is measured by online business metrics. Recent video foundation models can generate realistic clips from multimodal conditions, yet they do not optimize how a product should be transformed into an effective advertisement or how future generation should be improved from online business feedback. To close this loop, we propose AgenticGen, a reward-guided agentic framework that decomposes advertising video generation into two trainable reasoning stages, strategy selection and draft generation, thereby exposing optimization targets that online business feedback can supervise. AgenticGen learns a performance-based reward from accumulated online feedback and a complementary rubric-based reward aligned with human quality standards, then uses them to supervise policy optimization. DPO first moves the agentic policies toward online preferences, and GRPO further refines both stages with process and outcome rewards. Offline experiments validate the reward models and successive policy optimization. Online A/B experiments in the TikTok advertising system show that AgenticGen after DPO and GRPO improves CTR by 2.72%, CVR by 2.63%, and Advv by 9.61% over the SFT baseline.

Electromagnetic responses of bilayer excitonic insulators: from exciton London equations to dipole and inverse dipole Hall effects

We develop a microscopic theory of the linear electromagnetic response of bilayer excitonic insulators relevant to electron-hole double-layer systems. Using a self-consistent Hartree-Fock description of the excitonic ground state and time-dependent Hartree-Fock for its dynamics, we compute the collective mode spectrum and the full first-order response to layer-symmetric (charge) and layer-antisymmetric (exciton) gauge fields. At zero magnetic field, we find that two gapped plasmon modes dominate the long-wavelength charge response, while the exciton channel is governed by a linearly dispersing phase (Goldstone) mode. From the Goldstone-dominated kernel, we derive London-like equations for the exciton condensate. The nondissipative acceleration under a layer-antisymmetric electric field provides a direct signature of exciton superfluidity; in contrast, a normal exciton fluid shows a Drude-like dissipative response. In a perpendicular magnetic field, the Goldstone mode develops a magnetic-roton minimum that signals an instability toward a finite-momentum stripe-ordered excitonic insulator. In addition, the field couples charge and exciton motion, giving rise to dipole and inverse dipole Hall effects in which a charge (exciton) bias induces a transverse exciton (charge) current. In the condensate, these mixed Hall conductances approach finite values in the $ω\to0$ linear-response limit. Our findings provide concrete targets for microwave and transport probes of bilayer exciton superfluidity.

O3N: Omnidirectional Open-Vocabulary Occupancy Prediction for Embodied Intelligent Robotics

The rapid evolution of consumer electronics toward embodied intelligence has accelerated the emergence of Consumer Embodied Intelligent Robotics (CEIRs), where intelligent devices are expected to perceive, understand, and interact with complex real-world environments. Understanding and reconstructing the 3D world through omnidirectional perception is therefore becoming increasingly important for CEIRs operating in complex and dynamic environments. However, existing vision-based 3D occupancy prediction methods are constrained by limited perspective inputs and a predefined training distribution, making them difficult to support embodied intelligent systems that require comprehensive and safe perception of scenes in open-world exploration. To address this, we present O3N, the first framework for open-vocabulary occupancy prediction from a single omnidirectional RGB image. O3N embeds omnidirectional voxels in a polar-spiral topology via the Polar-spiral Mamba (PsM) module, enabling continuous spatial representation and long-range context modeling across 360°. The Occupancy Cost Aggregation (OCA) module introduces a principled mechanism for unifying geometric and semantic supervision within the voxel space, ensuring consistency between reconstructed geometry and underlying semantic structure. Moreover, Natural Modality Alignment (NMA) establishes a gradient-free alignment pathway that harmonizes visual features, voxel embeddings, and text semantics, forming a consistent pixel-voxel-text representation triad for open-world perception. Extensive experiments on multiple models demonstrate that our method not only achieves state-of-the-art performance on QuadOcc and Human360Occ benchmarks but also exhibits remarkable cross-scene generalization and semantic scalability. Correlation-Aware Structured Pruning for Large Language Models

Structured pruning is a promising approach for reducing the substantial inference costs of Large Language Models (LLMs) while maintaining hardware efficiency. Many existing methods assess the importance of prunable units (e.g., channels or heads) in isolation, implicitly assuming that pruning errors are additive. This independence assumption is often invalidated by the non-orthogonality of model weights and strong correlations between unit activations, potentially leading to performance degradation. To address this, we propose a Correlation-Aware Structured Pruning method. We formulate the pruning objective as a cardinality-constrained binary quadratic program that explicitly models cross-unit dependencies in the reconstruction error. Since this binary quadratic program is NP-hard and difficult to solve exactly, we develop a greedy interaction algorithm based on dependency-aware marginal costs to optimize unit selection. Furthermore, we incorporate a gradient-based strategy to achieve adaptive layer-wise sparsity allocation across the entire model. Extensive experiments on mainstream LLMs demonstrate that incorporating correlation information yields competitive accuracy-efficiency trade-offs compared to representative structured pruning baselines.

Grounded Decoding for Autoregressive Speech Enhancement via Adaptive Code-Space Grounding and Local LLM Refinement

Large language model (LLM)-based autoregressive speech enhancement (SE) produces natural speech using learned clean-speech priors, but may hallucinate content unsupported by the input. Deterministic SE better preserves observation-coupled evidence, yet often retains residual noise or local distortion. We propose an evidence-grounded generative SE framework that uses a deterministic estimate as imperfect evidence. A Whisper-guided DPRNN produces an enhanced waveform, which is blended with the observation and tokenized into a discrete evidence sequence. The evidence conditions an autoregressive clean-speech token generator and is reused during decoding through Code-Space Grounding (CSG), which penalizes candidates according to their Hamming distance in the factorized finite-scalar-quantized (FSQ) space. Because the appropriate grounding strength depends on acoustic difficulty, we introduce SNR-Conditioned CSG (SNR-CSG), which maps a calibrated residual-SNR estimate to an utterance-level strength and constructs an adaptive grounded anchor. Although grounding improves content fidelity, the anchor may retain local acoustic defects inherited from the evidence. Since such defects are predominantly local in the FSQ space, nearby tokens may provide better acoustic realizations without large departures from the observation-supported trajectory. We therefore propose Grounded Neighborhood Refinement with LLM ranking (GNR-LLM). It performs one additional teacher-forced pass conditioned on the grounded-anchor history, intersects the LLM top-$K$ candidates with a local FSQ Hamming neighborhood. Experiments on in-domain, controlled-SNR, and DNS no-reverb conditions show that SNR-CSG provides robust automatic grounding, while GNR-LLM substantially improves low-SNR perceptual quality without sacrificing content fidelity.

HierDAMap: Towards Universal Domain Adaptive BEV Mapping via Hierarchical Perspective Priors

The exploration of Bird's-Eye View (BEV) mapping technology has driven significant innovation in visual perception technology for autonomous driving. BEV mapping models need to be applied to the unlabeled real world, making the study of unsupervised domain adaptation models an essential path. However, research on unsupervised domain adaptation for BEV mapping remains limited and cannot perfectly accommodate all BEV mapping tasks. To address this gap, this paper proposes HierDAMap, a universal and holistic BEV domain adaptation framework with hierarchical perspective priors. Unlike existing research that solely focuses on image-level learning using prior knowledge, this paper explores the guiding role of perspective prior knowledge across three distinct levels: global, sparse, and instance levels. With these priors, HierDAMap consists of three essential components, including Semantic-Guided Pseudo Supervision (SGPS), Dynamic-Aware Coherence Learning (DACL), and Cross-Domain Frustum Mixing (CDFM). SGPS constrains the cross-domain consistency of perspective feature distribution through pseudo labels generated by vision foundation models in 2D space. To mitigate feature distribution discrepancies caused by spatial variations, DACL employs uncertainty-aware predicted depth as an intermediary to derive dynamic BEV labels from perspective pseudo-labels, thereby constraining the coarse BEV features derived from corresponding perspective features. CDFM, on the other hand, leverages perspective masks of the view frustum to mix multi-view perspective images from both domains, which guides cross-domain view transformation and encoding learning through mixed BEV labels. Furthermore, this paper introduces intra-domain feature exchange data augmentation to enhance the efficiency of domain adaptation learning. Label-Free Target-Domain Adaptation for Unconstrained Event-Image Feature Matching via Dual-Stage Distillation

Building pixel-level correspondence between event and image data is a fundamental task for multi-sensor systems. However, existing cross-modal matching methods are largely restricted by their reliance on either matching labels or strictly aligned hardware, which limits them to unlabeled and unconstrained real-world scenarios where neither matching ground truth nor prior sensor relationships are available. To address this, we propose a novel two-stage training paradigm. First, we leverage large-scale data to perform label-agnostic distillation pretraining, upgrading optimization objectives with distribution-based and contrastive losses to learn highly generalizable representations. Second, to tackle unlabeled and unconstrained downstream data, we introduce an epipolar-guided self-distillation framework. By utilizing consistency verification to isolate robust matches and incorporating geometric confidence derived from an external epipolar prior, our model can effectively self-evolve directly on target domains without any supervision. Furthermore, we introduce a rigorous cross-modal evaluation benchmark based on TUM-VIE, featuring physically separated cameras with distinct intrinsic parameters and resolutions. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our proposed method achieves state-of-the-art performance on both MVSEC and TUM-VIE pose estimation tasks. OccTrack360: 4D Panoptic Occupancy Tracking from Surround-View Fisheye Cameras

Understanding dynamic 3D environments in a spatially continuous and temporally consistent manner is fundamental for robotics and autonomous driving. While recent advances in occupancy prediction provide a unified representation of scene geometry and semantics, progress in 4D panoptic occupancy tracking remains limited by the lack of benchmarks that support surround-view fisheye sensing, long temporal sequences, and instance-level voxel tracking. To address this gap, we present OccTrack360, a new benchmark for 4D panoptic occupancy tracking from surround-view fisheye cameras. OccTrack360 provides substantially longer and more diverse sequences (174~2234 frames) than prior benchmarks, together with principled voxel visibility annotations, including an all-direction occlusion mask and an MEI-based fisheye field-of-view mask. To establish a strong fisheye-oriented baseline, we further propose Focus on Sphere Occ (FoSOcc), a framework that addresses two core challenges in fisheye occupancy tracking: distorted spherical projection and inaccurate voxel-space localization. FoSOcc includes a Center Focusing Module (CFM) to enhance instance-aware spatial localization through supervised focus guidance, and a Fisheye-based Enhanced Lifting (FEL) that extends perspective lifting to fisheye imaging under the Unified Projection Model. Extensive experiments on Occ3D-Waymo and OccTrack360 show that our method improves occupancy tracking quality with notable gains on geometrically regular categories, and establishes a strong baseline for future research on surround-view fisheye 4D occupancy tracking. The benchmark and source code will be made publicly available at https://github.com/YouthZest-Lin/OccTrack360.

DemoPSD: Disagreement-Modulated Policy Self-Distillation

On-policy self-distillation (OPSD) has emerged as a practical method for training large language models (LLMs) to reason, where a single model acts as both the teacher and the student with different levels of information access. However, recent studies have found that the teacher's dense token-level supervision, conditioned on privileged information, can lead to overfitting to in-domain patterns, suppress exploration, and hurt cross-domain generalization, while also introducing a more fundamental issue: *privileged information leakage*, where the student encodes answer-dependent shortcuts that are unavailable at test time. We introduce **DemoPSD**, a novel framework that resolves such problems through the idea of *selective adoption of teacher guidance*. Instead of fitting the full teacher distribution, DemoPSD steers the student toward a *reverse-KL barycenter target*, a weighted geometric combination of the teacher and student distributions, that naturally balances learning from the teacher with preserving the student's own reasoning capacity. We measure the difference between their distributions and use such a discrepancy to adaptively control the blending at each token position. We provably show that DemoPSD achieves **(1)** *leakage attenuation*, i.e., effective mitigation of privileged information leakage; and **(2)** *exploration preservation*, i.e., preservation of exploration capacity under dense token-level distillation. Extensive experiments on SciKnowEval across four scientific fields show that DemoPSD outperforms both GRPO and SDPO while maintaining higher training entropy and robustly generalizing to out-of-distribution GPQA benchmarks.

E-VLA: Event-Augmented Vision-Language-Action Model for Dark and Blurred Scenes

Robotic Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models generalize well for open-ended manipulation, but their perception is fragile under sensing-stage degradations such as extreme low light, motion blur, and black clipping. We present E-VLA, an event-augmented VLA framework that improves manipulation robustness when conventional frame-based vision becomes unreliable. Instead of reconstructing images from events, E-VLA directly leverages motion and structural cues in event streams to preserve semantic perception and perception-action consistency under adverse conditions. We build an open-source teleoperation platform with a DAVIS346 event camera and collect a real-world synchronized RGB-event-action manipulation dataset across diverse tasks and illuminations. We also propose lightweight, pretrained-compatible event integration strategies and study event windowing for stable deployment. Experiments show that even a simple parameter-free fusion, i.e., overlaying accumulated event maps onto RGB images, could substantially improve robustness in dark and heavy-blur scenes: on Pick-Place at 20 lux, success increases from 0% (image-only) to 60% with overlay fusion and to 90% with our event adapter; under severe motion blur (1000 ms-exposure proxy), Pick-Place improves from 0% to 20-25%, and Sorting from 5% to 32.5%. Overall, E-VLA provides systematic evidence that event-driven perception can be effectively integrated into VLA models, pointing toward robust embodied intelligence beyond conventional frame-based imaging. PS-MOT: Cultivating Instance Awareness from Point Seeds for Multi-Object Tracking

We introduce Point-supervised Multi-Object Tracking (PS-MOT) as a cost-effective alternative to traditional bounding box supervision, shifting the focus from spatial fitting to topological center-driven representation. However, PS-MOT faces challenges, e.g., spatial ambiguity and identity drift due to the lack of explicit geometric structure and scale constraints. To address these, we propose PS-Track, a hierarchical pipeline transitioning from points to instances across data, model, and loss levels. At the data level, we introduce Temporal-Feedback Prompting (TFP) to evolve points into temporally consistent pseudo-labels using negative spatial cues and motion priors. At the model level, we design the Point-Excited Wavelet Attention (PEWA) module, which leverages semantic correlations to activate high-frequency components, ``hallucinating'' object boundaries. At the loss level, Uncertainty-Guided Gaussian Learning (UGL) models pseudo-labels as probabilistic distributions, dynamically calibrating supervision intensity. Experiments on DanceTrack, EmboTrack, SportsMOT, and JRDB demonstrate that PS-Track provides a feasible and effective point-supervised alternative across diverse tracking scenarios, establishing a new state-of-the-art for point-supervised tracking. Sarashina2.2-TTS: Tackling Kanji Polyphony in Japanese Speech Generation via Data Scaling and Targeted Data Synthesis

While large language model (LLM)-based text-to-speech (TTS) systems have achieved high-quality speech synthesis, most existing systems focus on English and Chinese. Japanese, however, remains under-explored, and its unique linguistic challenges, such as widespread context-dependent kanji polyphony, have yet to be adequately tackled. Here we introduce Sarashina2.2-TTS (https://github.com/sbintuitions/sarashina2.2-tts), a Japanese-centric LLM-TTS system that tackles these challenges through a dual approach: data strategy and evaluation methodology. First, we scale training to approximately 361k hours of speech, incorporating a balanced mix of Japanese and English data. Furthermore, we design a targeted data augmentation pipeline covering all 2,136 Joyo (regular-use) kanji designated by Japan's Agency for Cultural Affairs to efficiently address kanji polyphony disambiguation. Second, we introduce the Joyo Kanji Yomi Benchmark (https://github.com/sbintuitions/JoyoKanji-Yomi-Benchmark), covering all 2,136 Joyo kanji and their 4,378 readings. Alongside this benchmark, we propose Kana-CER, a metric that compares synthesized speech against reference readings in the kana space, eliminating orthographic variations to directly measure pronunciation correctness. Experiments demonstrate that our targeted data augmentation significantly improves reading accuracy. Overall, Sarashina2.2-TTS achieves state-of-the-art kanji-level reading accuracy and matches top baselines on general sentence-level pronunciation, while delivering the highest speaker similarity in zero-shot Japanese speech synthesis. Furthermore, cross-lingual evaluation reveals that Sarashina2.2-TTS is the only system that maintains stable Japanese pronunciation regardless of the prompt language, confirming that our balanced training approach improves cross-lingual robustness.

Evaluating Japanese Dialect Robustness Across Speech and Text-based Large Language Models

Dialogue systems based on large language models (LLMs) have advanced significantly in recent years. However, dialectal variation remains a major challenge, particularly for systems that process spoken input. LLM-based speech language models (SLMs), which integrate LLMs with speech processing components, show promise for spoken language tasks, yet their ability to comprehend dialects has not been sufficiently studied. Moreover, it remains unclear how the dialectal understanding of the base LLM affects SLM performance. This study investigates the dialectal robustness of both LLMs and SLMs using Japanese dialects as a test case. We define robustness as the ratio of performance on dialectal versus standard inputs, enabling fair comparisons. Our experiments show that SLM robustness correlates with that of their text-based counterparts. Furthermore, training with dialectal data and fine-tuning the speech encoder each improves robustness in SLMs.

VL2Spike: Spike-driven Distillation from VLMs for Low-Power Visual Perception in Embodied AI

Spiking neural networks (SNNs) are brain-inspired, event-driven models that compute with sparse spikes, which enables highly efficient visual perception in resource-constrained embodied AI models. The emergence of Spiking-Transformer models with spike self-attention has substantially improved the learning capacity of pure SNNs. Although SNNs are energy efficient, their performance is still limited by the spike-based architecture and optimization challenges, as standard gradient descent rules cannot be directly applied. Recently, vision-language models (VLMs) have shown rich multi-modal knowledge representation capabilities for visual perception. Thus, it is promising to leverage VLMs for better Spikformer training. To this end, we present VL2Spike, a novel spike-based knowledge distillation (KD) framework that bridges multi-modal knowledge from VLMs with compact Spikformer models. This design enhances the learning capacity of Spikformer models while preserving their energy-efficiency merits, thereby offering a practical pathway toward low-power robotic perception. Our VL2Spike brings two key technical contributions. To align with spiking dynamics, we first propose spatial-temporal visual spike (SVS) distillation, which achieves (1) shared manifold alignment between VLM image features and spike tokens, and (2) warm-started temporal consistency on membrane potentials and spike rates. We then design a novel spike prototype-guided linguistic (SPL) distillation strategy that aligns Spikformer's class prototypes and logits with promptable VLM text embeddings. Extensive experiments show that VL2Spike achieves 6.81% gain across three static datasets with only 15.7% energy consumption. It also exhibits strong generalization capacity on robotic visual place recognition (VPR) with a gain of 6.63%, highlighting its potential for low-power perception in embodied AI.

ReasonAlloc: Hierarchical Decoding-Time KV Cache Budget Allocation for Reasoning Models

Long chain-of-thought (CoT) trajectories in large language model (LLM) reasoning cause severe inference bottlenecks due to rapid key-value (KV) cache growth. Current decoding-time compression methods mitigate this issue via token eviction, but typically assume a uniform budget distribution across all layers and heads. In contrast, existing non-uniform budget allocation methods are predominantly designed for the static prompt prefill phase, and they do not capture the stepwise context demands of autoregressive reasoning. To bridge this gap, we propose ReasonAlloc, a training-free framework that recasts decoding-time KV compression as a hierarchical budget allocation problem. ReasonAlloc operates at two complementary levels: an offline layer-wise preallocation strategy captures an architecture-driven demand pattern which we call ``\textit{Reasoning Wave}'', while an online head-wise strategy reallocates resources during decoding to information-rich heads based on real-time utility. Evaluations on mathematical reasoning benchmarks (MATH-500, AIME~2024) using DeepSeek-R1-Distill-Llama-8B, DeepSeek-R1-Distill-Qwen-14B, and AceReason-14B show that ReasonAlloc outperforms uniform-budget R-KV, SnapKV, and Pyramid-RKV (a baseline enforcing a static, monotonically decreasing layer budget), with the largest gains at small budgets (128-512 tokens). ReasonAlloc is plug-and-play with existing token-eviction policies and introduces negligible inference-time overhead.

MemoryVLA++: Temporal Modeling via Memory and Imagination in Vision-Language-Action Models

Temporal modeling is essential for robotic manipulation, as effective control requires both memory of past interactions and imagination of future states. However, most VLA models rely primarily on the current observation and therefore struggle with long-horizon, temporally dependent tasks. Cognitive science suggests that humans rely on working memory to buffer short-lived context, the hippocampal system to preserve episodic memory of past experience, and internal models to imagine possible future state evolution. Inspired by these mechanisms, we propose MemoryVLA++, a full temporal modeling framework that equips VLA models with memory and imagination for robotic manipulation. A pretrained VLM encodes the current observation into perceptual and cognitive tokens, forming working memory. These tokens query a Perceptual-Cognitive Memory Bank to retrieve relevant historical context. This bank stores low-level details and high-level semantics from past interactions, and is updated through redundancy-aware consolidation. A world model imagines future states in a denoising latent space, and the imagined latents are integrated under memory guidance to form full temporal-aware tokens. The resulting tokens condition a diffusion action expert to predict temporally consistent action sequences. We conduct extensive experiments on 5 simulation benchmarks and 3 categories of real-robot tasks across 3 robots, covering general manipulation, long-horizon temporal tasks, robustness, and generalization. Our method achieves strong performance across Libero, SimplerEnv, Mikasa-Robo, Calvin, Libero-Plus, and diverse real-robot tasks, validating the effectiveness of full temporal modeling with memory and imagination. For example, on real robots, it achieves +9%, +26%, +28% gains on general, memory-dependent, and imagination-dependent tasks. Project Page: https://shihao1895.github.io/MemoryVLA-PP-Web
