Approximation of Attractors of Nonautonomous Lattice Dynamical Systems

The aim of this paper is to study the finite-dimensional approximations of the nonautonomous lattice dynamical systems of the form $u_{i}'=\nu (u_{i-1}-2u_i+u_{i+1})-\lambda u_{i}+F(u_i)+f_{i}(t)\ (i\in \mathbb Z)\ (*)$. We show that the finite-dimensional approximations for (*) are uniformly dissipative. The upper semi-continuous convergence of the attractors of the finite-dimensional approximations is established.

Amerio's Theorem for Remotely Almost Periodic Differential Equations

The aim of this paper is to study the remotely almost periodic motions of dynamical systems and solutions of nonlinear differential equations. We establish some properties of remotely almost periodic motions and generalize the well known Amerio's theorem for abstract remotely almost periodic dynamical systems. Application of our general results for different classes of nonlinear differential/difference and algebraic equations is given.

The Integration of Stepanov Remotely Almost Periodic Functions

The aim of this paper is to study the problem of the integration of Stepanov remotely almost periodic functions. We prove that every compact primitive of a Stepanov remotely almost periodic function with a minimal $\omega$-limit set is remotely almost periodic. This fact proves the conjecture previously formulated by the author.

Almost Periodic Solutions of Lattice Dynamical Systems with Monotone Nonlinearity

The aim of this paper is studying the problem of almost periodicity of almost periodic lattice dynamical systems of the form $u_{i}'=\nu (u_{i-1}-2u_i+u_{i+1})-\lambda u_{i}+F(u_i)+f_{i}(t)\ (i\in \mathbb Z,\ \lambda >0)$. We prove the existence a unique almost periodic solution of this system if the nonlinearity $F$ is monotone.

Remotely Almost Periodic Solutions of Scalar Differential Equations

The aim of this paper is to study the problem of existence of remotely almost periodic solutions for the scalar differential equation $x'=f(t,x),$ where $f:\mathbb R\times \mathbb R\to \mathbb R$ is a continuous, monotone in $x$ and remotely almost periodic in $t$ function. We prove that every solution $\varphi$ of this equation bounded on the semi-axis $\mathbb R_{+}$ is remotely almost periodic. This statement is a generalization of the well-known Opial's theorem for remotely almost periodic scalar differential equations. We also establish a similar statement for scalar difference equations.

Global Attractors of Non-autonomous Lattice Dynamical Systems

The aim of this paper is studying the compact global attractors for non-autonomous lattice dynamical systems of the form $u_{i}'=\nu (u_{i-1}-2u_i+u_{i+1})-\lambda u_{i}+f(u_i)+f_{i}(t)\ (i\in \mathbb Z,\ \lambda >0)$. We prove their dissipativness, asymptotic compactness and then the existence of compact global attractors.

Massera's theorem for Asymptotically Periodic Scalar Differential Equations

The aim of this paper is studying the problem of existence of asymptotically periodic solutions of the scalar differential equation $x'=f(t,x),$ where $f:\mathbb R\times \mathbb R\to \mathbb R$ is a continuous asymptotically $\tau$-periodic function. We prove that every bounded on semi-axis $\mathbb R_{+}$ solution $\varphi$ of this equation is S-asymptotically $\tau$-periodic, i.e., $\lim\limits_{t\to +\infty}|\varphi(t+\tau)-\varphi(t)|=0$. This statement is a generalization of the well-known Massera's theorem for asymptotically periodic scalar differential equations. We also establish a similar statement for scalar difference equations.

Averaging Principle on Semi-axis for Semi-linear Differential Equations

We establish an averaging principle on the real semi-axis for semi-linear equation \begin{equation}\label{eqAb1} x'=\varepsilon (\mathcal A x+f(t)+F(t,x))\nonumber \end{equation} with unbounded closed linear operator $\mathcal A$ and asymptotically Poisson stable (in particular, asymptotically stationary, asymptotically periodic, asymptotically quasi-periodic, asymptotically almost periodic, asymptotically almost automorphic, asymptotically recurrent) coefficients. Under some conditions we prove that there exists at least one solution, which possesses the same asymptotically recurrence property as the coefficients, in a small neighborhood of the stationary solution to the averaged equation, and this solution converges to the stationary solution of averaged equation uniformly on the real semi-axis when the small parameter approaches to zero.

Averaging Principle on Infinite Intervals for Stochastic Ordinary Differential Equations

In contrast to existing works on stochastic averaging on finite intervals, we establish an averaging principle on the whole real axis, i.e. the so-called second Bogolyubov theorem, for semilinear stochastic ordinary differential equations in Hilbert space with Poisson stable (in particular, periodic, quasi-periodic, almost periodic, almost automorphic etc) coefficients. Under some appropriate conditions we prove that there exists a unique recurrent solution to the original equation, which possesses the same recurrence property as the coefficients, in a small neighborhood of the stationary solution to the averaged equation, and this recurrent solution converges to the stationary solution of averaged equation uniformly on the whole real axis when the time scale approaches zero.

Levitan Almost Periodic Solutions of Linear Differential Equations

The known Levitan's Theorem states that the linear differential equation $$ x'=A(t)x+f(t) \ \ \ (*) $$ with Bohr almost periodic coefficients $A(t)$ and $f(t)$ admits at least one Levitan almost periodic solution if it has a bounded solution. The main assumption in this theorem is the separation among bounded solutions of homogeneous equations $$ x'=A(t)x\ .\ \ \ (**) $$ In this paper we prove that linear differential equation (*) with Levitan almost periodic coefficients has a Levitan almost periodic solution, if it has at least one bounded solution. In this case, the separation from zero of bounded solutions of equation (**) is not assumed. The analogue of this result for difference equations also is given. We study the problem of existence of Bohr/Levitan almost periodic solutions for equation (*) in the framework of general nonautonomous dynamical systems (cocycles).

Poisson stable motions of monotone nonautonomous dynamical systems

In this paper, we study the Poisson stability (in particular, stationarity, periodicity, quasi-periodicity, Bohr almost periodicity, almost automorphy, recurrence in the sense of Birkhoff, Levitan almost periodicity, pseudo periodicity, almost recurrence in the sense of Bebutov, pseudo recurrence, Poisson stability) of motions for monotone nonautonomous dynamical systems and of solutions for some classes of monotone nonautonomous evolution equations (ODEs, FDEs and parabolic PDEs). As a byproduct, some of our results indicate that all the trajectories of monotone systems converge to the above mentioned Poisson stable trajectories under some suitable conditions, which is interesting in its own right for monotone dynamics.

Bohr/Levitan Almost Periodic and Almost Automorphic Solutions of Linear Stochastic Differential Equations without Favard's Separation Condition

We prove that the linear stochastic equation $dx(t)=(A(t)x(t)+f(t))dt+g(t)dW(t)$ with linear operator $A(t)$ generating a continuous linear cocycle $\varphi$ and Bohr/Levitan almost periodic or almost automorphic coefficients $(A(t),f(t),g(t))$ admits a unique Bohr/Levitan almost periodic (respectively, almost automorphic) solution in distribution sense if it has at least one precompact solution on $\mathbb R_{+}$ and the linear cocycle $\varphi$ is asymptotically stable.

Periodic, Quasi-Periodic, Almost Periodic, Almost Automorphic, Birkhoff Recurrent and Poisson Stable Solutions for Stochastic Differential Equations

The paper is dedicated to studying the problem of Poisson stability (in particular stationarity, periodicity, quasi-periodicity, Bohr almost periodicity, Bohr almost automorphy, Birkhoff recurrence, almost recurrence in the sense of Bebutov, Levitan almost periodicity, pseudo-periodicity, pseudo-recurrence, Poisson stability) of solutions for semi-linear stochastic equation $$ dx(t)=(Ax(t)+f(t,x(t)))dt +g(t,x(t))dW(t)\quad (*) $$ with exponentially stable linear operator $A$ and Poisson stable in time coefficients $f$ and $g$. We prove that if the functions $f$ and $g$ are appropriately "small", then equation $(*)$ admits at least one solution which has the same character of recurrence as the functions $f$ and $g$.

On the Structure of the Global Attractor for Non-autonomous Difference Equations with Weak Convergence

The aim of this paper is to describe the structure of global attractors for non-autonomous difference systems of equations with recurrent (in particular, almost periodic) coefficients. We consider a special class of this type of systems (the so--called weak convergent systems). We study this problem in the framework of general non-autonomous dynamical systems (cocycles). We apply the general results obtained in our early papers to study the almost periodic (almost automorphic, recurrent) and asymptotically almost periodic (asymptotically almost automorphic, asymptotically recurrent) solutions of difference equations.

Almost Periodic Solutions and Global Attractors of Non-autonomous Navier-Stokes Equations

The article is devoted to the study of non-autonomous Navier-Stokes equations. First, the authors have proved that such systems admit compact global attractors. This problem is formulated and solved in the terms of general non-autonomous dynamical systems. Second, they have obtained conditions of convergence of non-autonomous Navier-Stokes equations. Third, a criterion for the existence of almost periodic (quasi periodic, almost automorphic, recurrent, pseudo recurrent) solutions of non-autonomous Navier-Stokes equations is given. Finally, the authors have derived a global averaging principle for non-autonomous Navier-Stokes equations.
