Probing the Tau Neutrino Magnetic Moment via the $μ^{-}γ\rightarrow μ^{-}ν\barν$ Process at Future Muon Colliders

We investigate the sensitivity of future muon colliders to the anomalous magnetic moment of the tau neutrino within a model-independent effective field theory framework. The analysis is performed through the subprocess $μ^{-}γ\rightarrow μ^{-}ν\barν$ where the initial-state photon is described using the Equivalent Photon Approximation. Signal and background events are generated with MadGraph5$\_$aMC$@$NLO, followed by parton showering and hadronization with PYTHIA8. Detector effects are simulated using DELPHES3, while the event reconstruction and analysis are carried out via the MadAnalysis5 framework. Optimized kinematic selection criteria are determined for center-of-mass energies of 3, 10 and 30 TeV muon colliders. The expected sensitivities are evaluated using the Asimov significance method. The best sensitivity is obtained for the 30 TeV muon collider option, where the anomalous magnetic moment of the tau neutrino can be probed down to $μ_{ττ}=5.21\times10^{-8}\,μ_B$ at the 5$σ$ significance level assuming a 1\% systematic uncertainty. Our sensitivity bounds improve the current direct experimental limit reported by the DONUT Collaboration up to one order of magnitude and demonstrate the strong potential of future muon colliders for probing neutrino electromagnetic interactions.

Photoproduction of mixed radions at a proton-proton collider

We investigate Higgs-radion mixing scenario through single radion photoproduction process $pp\to pγp\to pRqX$ at the LHC where $X$ represents the remnants of one of the initial protons. We consider high luminosity values of $L_{int}=200\;fb^{-1}$, $500\;fb^{-1}$ and $3000\;fb^{-1}$. We obtain bounds on the mixing parameter space by considering $R\to γγ$, $R\to W^+ W^-$ and $R\to ZZ$ decay channels of the radion as the signal. We also perform a similar analysis for a 100 TeV future proton-proton collider and compare its potential with that of LHC.

Joint analysis of solar neutrino and new KamLAND data in the RSFP framework

A joint analysis of solar neutrino data together with the new KamLAND data is presented in the RSFP framework. It is investigated that how the new KamLAND data effects the allowed regions at different $μB$ values. A limit on $μB$ value is found at the different confidence level intervals. It is shown that the RSFP scenerio does not have a crucial role on the solar neutrino data.

Contrasting solar and reactor neutrinos with a non-zero value of theta13

When solar neutrino and KamLAND data are analyzed separately one finds that, even though allowed regions of neutrino parameters overlap, the values of $δm^2$ and the mixing angle $θ_{12}$ at the $χ^2$ minima are different. We show that a non-zero, but small value of the angle $θ_{13}$ can account for this behavior. From the joint analysis of solar neutrino and KamLAND data we find the best fit value of $\sin^2 2 θ_{13} = 0.01 ^{-0.01}_{+0.09}$.
