Spatially Aware World Action Model via Geometric Latent Diffusion

World Action Models (WAMs) leverage the capabilities of large-scale pretrained video diffusion models to jointly predict future observations and actions, inheriting rich visual and physical priors from internet-scale video. This has made them a promising paradigm for robot policy learning, yet the prevailing models operate exclusively on RGB observations and do not leverage 3D information. To bridge this gap, we introduce a Spatially Aware World Action Model (SA-WAM), which repurposes a pretrained video model for joint action, RGB, and depth prediction, enabling 3D-aware world modeling and action prediction within a single diffusion backbone. We use a nonlinear encoding that maps the unbounded depth signal into the bounded input domain expected by the frozen VAE tokenizer. This allows us to reuse the tokenizer without 3D-specific fine-tuning, incorporating geometric information without sacrificing the pretrained priors. SA-WAM achieves state-of-the-art results on the RoboCasa and LIBERO-Plus benchmarks, while simultaneously improving future-state predictions. Furthermore, SA-WAM outperforms strong baselines in real-world evaluation using a UR5 robotic arm, with strong gains in randomized environments. We analyze the correlation between world model prediction quality and rollout success, providing insights into WAM performance and avenues for its improvement.

LOCI: A Locator-Critic with Refinement Loop

Vision-Language Models (VLMs) still struggle on tasks requiring complex visual understanding. We argue that the core issue is not high-level reasoning, but instead failing to locate critical details in the image. Due to this shortcoming, VLMs generate often plausible but incorrect reasoning based on flawed perceptual grounding. To address this, we propose Locator-Critic (LOCI), a training-free framework that decouples visual search from evidence verification. LOCI employs a Locator agent to propose candidate visual evidence and a separate Critic agent to evaluate its relevance and sufficiency. These agents engage in an iterative refinement loop, progressively improving the evidence until it is adequate to answer the given question. This decoupled, self-correcting process yields substantial performance gains, achieving state-of-the-art results on multiple complex visual benchmarks. LOCI improves accuracy for both open-weight models like Qwen3-VL (+12.1 on V*, +5.8 on HR-Bench and +11.2 on VisualProbe-Hard) and proprietary models like Gemini 2.5 Pro (+8.9 on V*, +4.3 on HR-Bench, +4.8 on VisualProbe-Hard).

Pano3D: Unified 3D Reconstruction and Panoptic Segmentation

Recent advances in 3D feedforward reconstruction neural networks have achieved remarkable success in dense reconstruction from images without any camera parameters. Yet, equipping these models with robust semantic understanding remains an open problem. Here we introduce an approach that performs 3D reconstruction and 3D panoptic segmentation in a unified framework. We build on existing 3D reconstruction models and augment them with a set-based mask decoder. The approach is jointly trained with a geometric and semantic loss, which are shown to be mutually beneficial. More precisely, the features are initialized from the geometric information and then finetuned to capture jointly geometry and semantics. We demonstrate the generality of our approach by successfully applying our framework both to online and all-to-all attention reconstruction backbones. Our method achieves state-of-the-art performance in 3D panoptic segmentation across ScanNet, ScanNet200, and ScanNet++ datasets. Ablation studies show that such joint training of a unified model equips 3D feedforward reconstruction neural networks with panoptic segmentation and yields mutually beneficial improvements.
