Neutrinophilic Super-Resonant Dark Matter

Dark matter (DM) annihilation can be significantly enhanced through narrow resonances or the Sommerfeld enhancement effect, with both mechanisms potentially combining in a super-resonant annihilation process. In such scenarios, the conventional assumption that kinetic equilibrium persists until chemical decoupling may not hold, leading to substantial impacts on the final DM relic density. However, a strongly enhanced annihilation cross section into Standard Model particles, except neutrinos, is constrained by cosmic microwave background observations. We thus investigate DM annihilation into neutrino pair final states, focusing on the role of kinetic decoupling. We solve the coupled Boltzmann equations to determine the relic density and constrain the parameter space using current experimental data, while also forecasting the sensitivity of future experiments.

Efficient Test-Time Retrieval Augmented Generation

Although Large Language Models (LLMs) demonstrate significant capabilities, their reliance on parametric knowledge often leads to inaccuracies. Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) mitigates this by incorporating external knowledge, but these methods may introduce irrelevant retrieved documents, leading to inaccurate responses. While the integration methods filter out incorrect answers from multiple responses, but lack external knowledge like RAG methods, and their high costs require balancing overhead with performance gains. To address these issues, we propose an Efficient Test-Time Retrieval-Augmented Generation Framework named ET2RAG to improve the performance of LLMs while maintaining efficiency. Specifically, ET2RAG is a training-free method, that first retrieves the most relevant documents and augments the LLMs to efficiently generate diverse candidate responses by managing response length. Then we compute the similarity of candidate responses and employ a majority voting mechanism to select the most suitable response as the final output. In particular, we discover that partial generation is sufficient to capture the key information necessary for consensus calculation, allowing us to effectively perform majority voting without the need for fully generated responses. Thus, we can reach a balance between computational cost and performance by managing the response length for the number of retrieved documents for majority voting. Experimental results demonstrate that ET2RAG significantly enhances performance across three tasks, including open-domain question answering, recipe generation and image captioning.

The quiver with superpotentials of a $d$-angulation of a marked surface

In this paper, we associate a quiver with superpotential to each $d$-angulation of a (unpunctured) marked surface. We show that, under quasi-isomorphisms, the flip of a $d$-angulation is compatible with Oppermann's mutation of (the Ginzburg algebra of) the corresponding quiver with superpotential, thereby partially generalizing the result in [LF09]. Applying to the generalized $(d-2)$-cluster categories associated to this quiver with superpotential, we prove that some certain almost complete $(d-2)$-cluster tilting objects in the higher cluster category have exactly $d-1$ complements.

DeepWideSearch: Benchmarking Depth and Width in Agentic Information Seeking

Current search agents fundamentally lack the ability to simultaneously perform \textit{deep} reasoning over multi-hop retrieval and \textit{wide}-scale information collection-a critical deficiency for real-world applications like comprehensive market analysis and business development. To bridge this gap, we introduce DeepWideSearch, the first benchmark explicitly designed to evaluate agents to integrate depth and width in information seeking. In DeepWideSearch, agents must process a large volume of data, each requiring deep reasoning over multi-hop retrieval paths. Specifically, we propose two methods to converse established datasets, resulting in a curated collection of 220 questions spanning 15 diverse domains. Extensive experiments demonstrate that even state-of-the-art agents achieve only 2.39% average success rate on DeepWideSearch, highlighting the substantial challenge of integrating depth and width search in information-seeking tasks. Furthermore, our error analysis reveals four failure modes: lack of reflection, overreliance on internal knowledge, insufficient retrieval, and context overflow-exposing key limitations in current agent architectures. We publicly release DeepWideSearch to catalyze future research on more capable and robust information-seeking agents.

Benchmarking Gaslighting Negation Attacks Against Multimodal Large Language Models

Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) have exhibited remarkable advancements in integrating different modalities, excelling in complex understanding and generation tasks. Despite their success, MLLMs remain vulnerable to conversational adversarial inputs. In this paper, we systematically study gaslighting negation attacks: a phenomenon where models, despite initially providing correct answers, are persuaded by user-provided negations to reverse their outputs, often fabricating justifications. We conduct extensive evaluations of state-of-the-art MLLMs across diverse benchmarks and observe substantial performance drops when negation is introduced. Notably, we introduce the first benchmark GaslightingBench, specifically designed to evaluate the vulnerability of MLLMs to negation arguments. GaslightingBench consists of multiple-choice questions curated from existing datasets, along with generated negation prompts across 20 diverse categories. Throughout extensive evaluation, we find that proprietary models such as Gemini-1.5-flash and GPT-4o demonstrate better resilience compared to open-source counterparts like Qwen2-VL and LLaVA, though even advanced reasoning-oriented models like Gemini-2.5-Pro remain susceptible. Our category-level analysis further shows that subjective or socially nuanced domains (e.g., Social Relation, Image Emotion) are especially fragile, while more objective domains (e.g., Geography) exhibit relatively smaller but still notable drops. Overall, all evaluated MLLMs struggle to maintain logical consistency under gaslighting negation attack. These findings highlight a fundamental robustness gap and provide insights for developing more reliable and trustworthy multimodal AI systems. Dark Photon Oscillations in Waveguide

Dark photons, which can kinetically mix with ordinary photons, represent the simplest extension to the standard model. Detecting their oscillations with visible photons could provide crucial insights into the nature of dark matter and fundamental interactions beyond the standard model. We propose a novel laboratory-based approach to detect dark photon oscillations using a laser in an Optical Time-domain Relectometry (OTDR) setup. The laser light propagating through the optical fiber undergoes oscillations with the dark photon, leading to measurable changes in the power flow. These oscillations can precisely measured, leveraging its high sensitivity and efficiency in detecting small variations in the optical signal. This approach could provide a new avenue for probing dark photon oscillations in the laboratory and greatly improve the current experimental sensitivity to dark photon in a wide mass range.

Scattering of Quantum Particles in Global de Sitter Spacetime II: Scalars in Deep Infrared

We apply the S-matrix formalism developed in Part I to the interacting scalar theory in four-dimensional de Sitter spacetime. The amplitudes are computed in the angular momentum basis, appropriate to the representations of $SO(1,4)$ de Sitter symmetry group. We discuss the properties of wavefunctions in Bunch-Davies vacuum and derive a new integral representation for the Feynman propagator. We focus on deep infrared processes probing the large scale structure of spacetime, in particular on the processes that are normally forbidden by the energy-momentum conservation laws in flat spacetime. We find that there are no stable particles in self-interacting scalar field theory, but the decay rates are exponentially suppressed for particles with masses far above $\hbar/c\ell$, where $\ell$ is the de Sitter radius. We also show that the ``all out'' amplitudes describing multiparticle production from the vacuum are identically zero, hence Bunch-Davies vacuum is stable with respect to the matter interactions. We show that at the tree level, all scattering amplitudes are infrared finite, well-defined functions of quantum numbers. They have no kinematic singularities, except for the processes involving conformally coupled scalars.

Agentic Lybic: Multi-Agent Execution System with Tiered Reasoning and Orchestration

Autonomous agents for desktop automation struggle with complex multi-step tasks due to poor coordination and inadequate quality control. We introduce Agentic Lybic, a novel multi-agent system where the entire architecture operates as a finite-state machine (FSM). This core innovation enables dynamic orchestration. Our system comprises four components: a Controller, a Manager, three Workers (Technician for code-based operations, Operator for GUI interactions, and Analyst for decision support), and an Evaluator. The critical mechanism is the FSM-based routing between these components, which provides flexibility and generalization by dynamically selecting the optimal execution strategy for each subtask. This principled orchestration, combined with robust quality gating, enables adaptive replanning and error recovery. Evaluated officially on the OSWorld benchmark, Agentic Lybic achieves a state-of-the-art 57.07% success rate in 50 steps, substantially outperforming existing methods. Results demonstrate that principled multi-agent orchestration with continuous quality control provides superior reliability for generalized desktop automation in complex computing environments.

Line Spectral Analysis Using the G-Filter: An Atomic Norm Minimization Approach

The area of spectral analysis has a traditional dichotomy between continuous spectra (spectral densities) which correspond to purely nondeterministic processes, and line spectra (Dirac impulses) which represent sinusoids. While the former case is important in the identification of discrete-time linear stochastic systems, the latter case is essential for the analysis and modeling of time series with notable applications in radar systems. In this paper, we develop a novel approach for line spectral estimation which combines ideas of Georgiou's filter banks (G-filters) and atomic norm minimization (ANM), a mainstream method for line spectral analysis in the last decade following the theory of compressed sensing. Such a combination is only possible because a Carathéodory--Fejér-type decomposition is available for the covariance matrix of the filter output. The ANM problem can be characterized via semidefinite programming which can be solved efficiently. As a consequence, our optimization scheme can be seen as a substantial generalization of the standard ANM for line spectral estimation. Moreover, our ANM approach with a G-filter has significant advantages over subspace methods because it can work with just one output vector and without \emph{a priori} knowledge about the number of sinusoids in the input. Simulation results show that our approach performs favorably against the standard ANM, the frequency-selective ANM, and standard subspace methods MUSIC and ESPRIT under a variety of parameter configurations when the G-filter is suitably designed.

Scattering of Quantum Particles in de Sitter Spacetime I: The Formalism

We develop a formalism for computing the scattering amplitudes in maximally symmetric de Sitter spacetime with compact spatial dimensions. We describe quantum states by using the representation theory of de Sitter symmetry group and link the Hilbert space to geodesic observers. The positive and negative ``energy'' wavefunctions are uniquely determined by the requirement that in observer's neighborhood, short wavelengths propagate as plane waves with positive and negative frequencies, respectively; they define a unique ``Euclidean'' (a.k.a.\ Bunch-Davies) de Sitter invariant vacuum, common to all inertial observers. By following the same steps as in Minkowski spacetime, we show that the scattering amplitudes are given by a generalized Dyson's formula. Compared to the flat case, they describe the scattering of wavepackets with the frequency spectrum determined by geometry. The frequency spread shrinks as the masses and/or momenta become larger than the curvature scale. Asymptotically, de Sitter amplitudes agree with the amplitudes evaluated in Minkowski spacetime.

Explanations of the Tentative New Physics Anomalies and Dark Matter in the Simple Extension of the Standard Model (SESM)

We revisit the Simple Extension of the Standard Model (SESM), which can account for various tentative new physics anomalies and dark matter. The B physics anomalies, muon anomalous magnetic moment, and dark matter can be explained already in SESM. In this work, we study the unitarity constraint on this model and comment the parameter space on the edge of unitarity bounds. Besides, the complete scalar potential is considered which is needed to address the $W$ boson anomaly and more dark matter (co-)annihilation processes are discussed. We perform a systematic study, and find the viable parameter space which can explain these anomalies and evade all the current experimental constraints.

Exploring Object Status Recognition for Recipe Progress Tracking in Non-Visual Cooking

Cooking plays a vital role in everyday independence and well-being, yet remains challenging for people with vision impairments due to limited support for tracking progress and receiving contextual feedback. Object status - the condition or transformation of ingredients and tools - offers a promising but underexplored foundation for context-aware cooking support. In this paper, we present OSCAR (Object Status Context Awareness for Recipes), a technical pipeline that explores the use of object status recognition to enable recipe progress tracking in non-visual cooking. OSCAR integrates recipe parsing, object status extraction, visual alignment with cooking steps, and time-causal modeling to support real-time step tracking. We evaluate OSCAR on 173 instructional videos and a real-world dataset of 12 non-visual cooking sessions recorded by BLV individuals in their homes. Our results show that object status consistently improves step prediction accuracy across vision-language models, and reveal key factors that impact performance in real-world conditions, such as implicit tasks, camera placement, and lighting. We contribute the pipeline of context-aware recipe progress tracking, an annotated real-world non-visual cooking dataset, and design insights to guide future context-aware assistive cooking systems.

From Holistic to Localized: Local Enhanced Adapters for Efficient Visual Instruction Fine-Tuning

Efficient Visual Instruction Fine-Tuning (EVIT) seeks to adapt Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) to downstream tasks with minimal computational overhead. However, as task diversity and complexity increase, EVIT faces significant challenges in resolving data conflicts. To address this limitation, we propose the Dual Low-Rank Adaptation (Dual-LoRA), a holistic-to-local framework that enhances the adapter's capacity to address data conflict through dual structural optimization. Specifically, we utilize two subspaces: a skill space for stable, holistic knowledge retention, and a rank-rectified task space that locally activates the holistic knowledge. Additionally, we introduce Visual Cue Enhancement (VCE), a multi-level local feature aggregation module designed to enrich the vision-language projection with local details. Our approach is both memory- and time-efficient, requiring only 1.16$\times$ the inference time of the standard LoRA method (with injection into the query and value projection layers), and just 73\% of the inference time of a 4-expert LoRA-MoE. Extensive experiments on various downstream tasks and general MLLM benchmarks validate the effectiveness of our proposed methods.

The Shannon-McMillan-Breiman theorem of random dynamical systems for amenable group actions

The Shannon-McMillan-Breiman theorem is one of the most important results in information theory, which can describe the random ergodic process, and its proof uses the famous Birkhoff ergodic theorem, so it can be seen that it plays a crucial role in ergodic theory. In this paper, the Shannon-McMillan-Breiman theorem in the random dynamical systems is proved from the perspective of an amenable group action, which provides a boost for the development of entropy theory in the random dynamical systems for amenable group actions.

Conformal blocks from celestial graviton amplitudes

Four-point gluon and graviton correlators in celestial holography are famously non-analytic, having distributional support. In this work, we propose an alternative graviton correlator that is analytic and displays several desirable properties. We compute the four-point correlator involving one graviton shadow operator and three graviton primary operators from the celestial four-point graviton amplitudes at tree-level. We perform the conformal block decomposition for the shadow correlator in the compatible channel. For the case when the shadow operator is conformally soft, we compute the single-valued completion of the shadow correlator and perform the conformal block decomposition of the single-valued shadow correlator in all channels. We find an integral representation of the single-valued shadow correlator, which allows us to invert the shadow transform to find the single-valued celestial graviton amplitude. We study various properties of the single-valued celestial graviton amplitude. Interestingly, it exhibits a double copy structure in relation to its counterpart gluon amplitude.

Preference Optimization for Combinatorial Optimization Problems

Reinforcement Learning (RL) has emerged as a powerful tool for neural combinatorial optimization, enabling models to learn heuristics that solve complex problems without requiring expert knowledge. Despite significant progress, existing RL approaches face challenges such as diminishing reward signals and inefficient exploration in vast combinatorial action spaces, leading to inefficiency. In this paper, we propose Preference Optimization, a novel method that transforms quantitative reward signals into qualitative preference signals via statistical comparison modeling, emphasizing the superiority among sampled solutions. Methodologically, by reparameterizing the reward function in terms of policy and utilizing preference models, we formulate an entropy-regularized RL objective that aligns the policy directly with preferences while avoiding intractable computations. Furthermore, we integrate local search techniques into the fine-tuning rather than post-processing to generate high-quality preference pairs, helping the policy escape local optima. Empirical results on various benchmarks, such as the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP), the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) and the Flexible Flow Shop Problem (FFSP), demonstrate that our method significantly outperforms existing RL algorithms, achieving superior convergence efficiency and solution quality.

Advancing Food Nutrition Estimation via Visual-Ingredient Feature Fusion

Nutrition estimation is an important component of promoting healthy eating and mitigating diet-related health risks. Despite advances in tasks such as food classification and ingredient recognition, progress in nutrition estimation is limited due to the lack of datasets with nutritional annotations. To address this issue, we introduce FastFood, a dataset with 84,446 images across 908 fast food categories, featuring ingredient and nutritional annotations. In addition, we propose a new model-agnostic Visual-Ingredient Feature Fusion (VIF$^2$) method to enhance nutrition estimation by integrating visual and ingredient features. Ingredient robustness is improved through synonym replacement and resampling strategies during training. The ingredient-aware visual feature fusion module combines ingredient features and visual representation to achieve accurate nutritional prediction. During testing, ingredient predictions are refined using large multimodal models by data augmentation and majority voting. Our experiments on both FastFood and Nutrition5k datasets validate the effectiveness of our proposed method built in different backbones (e.g., Resnet, InceptionV3 and ViT), which demonstrates the importance of ingredient information in nutrition estimation. https://huiyanqi.github.io/fastfood-nutrition-estimation/.

Interplay of $95$ GeV Diphoton Excess and Dark Matter in Supersymmetric Triplet Model

The decay of the Higgs boson and the nature of dark matter remain fundamental challenges in particle physics. We investigate the $95$ GeV diphoton excess and dark matter within the framework of the triplet-extended Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (TMSSM). In this model, an additional Hypercharge $Y=0$, $SU(2)_L$ triplet superfield is introduced. Mixing between the triplet and doublet Higgs states enhances the diphoton signal strength of the $95$ GeV Higgs boson, resulting in $μ_{γγ}^{\text{CMS+ATLAS}} = 0.24_{-0.08}^{+0.09}$, which is consistent with experimental observations. This enhancement arises primarily from charged Higgs loop contributions. Additionally, the model accommodates viable dark matter candidates in the form of a bino-dominated neutralino. The relic density is reduced to the observed value through resonance-enhanced annihilation via the Higgs portal or co-annihilation with the triplino or higgsino. This reduction remains consistent with constraints from direct and indirect detection experiments. A comprehensive parameter scan demonstrates that the TMSSM can simultaneously explain the $95$ GeV diphoton excess, the observed $125$ GeV Higgs mass, and the dark matter relic density, establishing a compelling and theoretically consistent framework.
