Masures associated with split Kac-Moody groups over valued fields

Masures are generalizations of Bruhat-Tits buildings adapted to the study of Kac--Moody groups over valued fields. They were introduced by Gaussent and Rousseau in 2007. Rousseau defined an axiomatic for these object and we simplified it. In this paper, which is mainly expository, we construct the masure associated with a split Kac--Moody group over a valued field, and we prove that it satisfies our axiomatic.

Quantum roots for Kac-Moody root systems and finiteness properties of the Kac-Moody affine Bruhat order

Let $G$ be a split Kac-Moody group over a local field. In their study of the Iwahori-Hecke algebra of $G$, A.Braverman, D. Kazhdan and M. Patnaik defined a partial order - called the affine Bruhat order - on the extended affine Weyl semi-group $W^+$ of $G$. In this paper, we study finiteness questions for covers and co-covers of $W^+$, generalizing results of A. Welch. In particular we prove that the intervals for this order are finite. Our results rely on the finiteness of the set of quantum roots of arbitrary Kac-Moody root systems, which we prove. We also obtain a classification of quantum roots.

Topologies on split Kac-Moody groups over valued fields

Let $G$ be a minimal split Kac-Moody group over a valued field {\mathcal{K}. Motivated by the representation theory of $G$, we define two topologies of topological group on $G$, which take into account the topology on {\mathcal{K}.

Twin masures associated with Kac-Moody groups over Laurent polynomials

Let $\mathfrak{G}$ be a split reductive group, $\mathbb{k}$ be a field and $\varpi$ be an indeterminate. In order to study $\mathfrak{G}(\mathbb{k}[\varpi,\varpi^{-1}])$ and $\mathfrak{G}(\mathbb{k}(\varpi))$, one can make them act on their twin building $\mathcal{I} = \mathcal{I}_\oplus\times \mathcal{I}_\ominus$, where $\mathcal{I}_\oplus$ and $\mathcal{I}_\ominus$ are related via a ''codistance''. Masures are generalizations of Bruhat-Tits buildings adapted to the study of Kac-Moody groups over valued fields. Motivated by the work of Dinakar Muthiah on Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials associated with Kac-Moody groups, we study the action of $\mathfrak{G}(\mathbb{k}[\varpi,\varpi^{-1}])$ and $\mathfrak{G}(\mathbb{k}(\varpi,\varpi^{-1}))$ on their ''twin masure'', when $\mathfrak{G}$ is a split Kac-Moody group instead of a reductive group.

A new axiomatics for masures II

Masures are generalizations of Bruhat-Tits buildings. They were introduced by Gaussent and Rousseau in order to study Kac-Moody groups over valued fields. We prove that the intersection of two apartments of a masure is convex. Using this, we simplify the axiomatic definition of masures given by Rousseau.
