Erd\H{o}s-Moser Equation in Arithmetic Progressions

We consider the Erd\H{o}s-Moser equation $1^k+2^k+\cdots+(m-1)^k=m^k$ in arithmetic progressions. We prove among other things that when $k=2$, for any solution to exist, the above sum in arithmetic progression must consist of two or four terms. In either case, there are infinitely many solutions that can be completely characterized.

Effective Estimates for a Class of Farey Fraction Sums and Bounds for Mundici-Type Constants

Let $D_{2}(Q)$ denote the sum of squared distances between consecutive Farey fractions in the full interval $(0, 1]$. Daniele Mundici conjectured that $C(Q):=D_{2}(Q)\cdot Q^2/\log Q$ is less than 3 for all $Q\geq 2$, which is confirmed true in \cite{DLN2026}. In this paper, we generalize this result to subintervals of $(0, 1]$ and to $h$-spacings. As applications, we obtain Mundici-type bounds in these two settings, extending the full-interval consecutive-spacing case of Mundici's conjecture.

The $\theta = \infty$ Conjecture and the Riemann Hypothesis for Automorphic $L$-functions

The $\theta=\infty$ conjecture asserts that the mollified second moments of the Riemann zeta function remain bounded for mollifiers of arbitrary polynomial length. We investigate an analogue of this conjecture for automorphic $L$-functions associated with cuspidal representations of $\text{GL}_m(\mathbb{A}_{\mathbb{Q}})$, exploring its implications for the distribution of their nontrivial zeros. Extending the framework of Bettin and Gonek, we prove that if the mollified second moments of these $L$-functions remain suitably bounded for mollifiers of arbitrary polynomial length, then the $L$-functions are non-vanishing in corresponding regions of the critical strip. Furthermore, we establish a version of this criterion for families of $L$-functions, demonstrating that the $\theta = \infty$ conjecture for a family of $L$-functions implies a quasi-Riemann Hypothesis for that family.

Bilinear forms with Kloosterman fractions and applications

We establish improved bounds for bilinear forms with Kloosterman fractions of the form ${\sum\sum}_{m,n} \alpha_m \beta_n e(a\overline{m}/(bn))$ with $M<m\le 2M$, $N < n \le 2N$ and $(m,n)=1$. Our approach works directly with arbitrary coefficient sequences $(\alpha_m), (\beta_n) \in \mathbb{C}$, avoiding the temporary restriction to squarefree support used in prior work. While this requires handling additional arithmetic complexity, it yields strictly stronger bounds that improve upon the estimates of Duke, Friedlander, and Iwaniec \cite{DFI} and Bettin-Chandee \cite{BC}; in the balanced case $M \approx N$, the new saving over the trivial bound is $1/12$%, compared to $1/48$ in \cite{DFI} . As an application, we prove a generalized asymptotic formula for the twisted second moment of the Riemann zeta-function with Dirichlet polynomials of length $T^{1/2+\delta}$ for $\delta = 1/46$, extending beyond the previously limiting $\theta = 1/2$ barrier established by Bettin, Chandee, and Radziwi{\l}{\l} \cite{BCR}. We also establish bounds for related Hermitian sums involving Sali\'{e}-type exponential phases and develop techniques for more general bilinear forms with Kloosterman fractions.

Zeros of Polynomials in Derivatives of Automorphic $L$-functions

Let $\mathfrak{F}_m$ be the set of all cuspidal automorphic representations of $\mathrm{GL}_m(\mathbb{A}_{\mathbb{Q}})$, and let $F(s,\boldsymbol{\pi})$ be a polynomial in the derivatives of $L$-functions associated with representations $\pi \in \cup_{m=1}^{\infty} \mathfrak{F}_m$. We establish an asymptotic formula for the number of nontrivial zeros of $F(s,\boldsymbol{\pi})$ with $0 < \operatorname{Im}(s) < T$. We explicitly determine the main term of this formula in terms of the dimensions, the arithmetic conductors, and the orders of differentiation of the component $L$-functions. Furthermore, we show that, under certain conditions, almost all nontrivial zeros of $F(s,\boldsymbol{\pi})$ lie near the critical line $\operatorname{Re}(s)=1/2$.

Cannonball Polygons with Multiplicities

We generalize the Cannonball Problem by introducing integer-valued and non-increasing arithmetic functions $w$. We associate these functions $w$ with certain polygons, which we call cannonball polygons. Through this correspondence, we show that for any $Z\in\mathbb{N}$, there exists a cannonball polygon with multiplicity 8 and largest side of length $Z$. Moreover, for any multiplicity $s$ greater than 8, we provide an asymptotic formula for the number of distinct classes of cannonball polygons with multiplicity $s$.

Exponential sums twisted by general arithmetic functions

We examine exponential sums of the form $\sum_{n \le X} w(n) e^{2\pi i\alpha n^k}$, for $k=1,2$, where $\alpha$ satisfies a generalized Diophantine approximation and where $w$ are different arithmetic functions that might be multiplicative, additive, or neither. A strategy is shown on how to bound these sums for a wide class of functions $w$ belonging within the same ecosystem. Using this new technology we are able to improve current results on minor arcs that have recently appeared in the literature of the Hardy-Littlewood circle method. Lastly, we show how a bound on $\sum_{n \le X} |\mu(n)| e^{2\pi i\alpha n}$ can be used to study partitions asymptotics over squarefree parts and explain their connection to the zeros of the Riemann zeta-function.

Strange and pseudo-differentiable functions with applications to prime partitions

Let $\mathfrak{p}_{\mathbb{P}_r}(n)$ denote the number of partitions of $n$ into $r$-full primes. We use the Hardy-Littlewood circle method to find the asymptotic of $\mathfrak{p}_{\mathbb{P}_r}(n)$ as $n \to \infty$. This extends previous results in the literature of partitions into primes. We also show an analogue result involving convolutions of von Mangoldt functions and the zeros of the Riemann zeta-function. To handle the resulting non-principal major arcs we introduce the definition of strange functions and pseudo-differentiability.

On the order of 4-dimensional regular polytope numbers

In light of Kim's conjecture on regular polytopes of dimension four, which is a generalization of Waring's problem, we establish asymptotic formulas for representing any sufficiently large integer as a sum of numbers in the form of those regular 4-polytopes. Moreover, we are able to obtain a more general result of the asymptotics for any degree-four polynomial $f$ satisfying $f(0)=0$ and $f(1)=1$.

An Equidistribution Result for Differences Associated with Square Pyramidal Numbers

We provide an asymptotic formula for the average value of the sequence A351830: $a_{n} = |P_{n} - y^{2}_{n}|$ for $1 \leq n \leq x$, where $P_{n}$ is the $n$-th square pyramidal number and $y^{2}_{n}$ is the closest square to $P_{n}$. Moreover, we supply asymptotic formulas for the $k$-th moment of the same sequence, for any fixed natural number $k$.

Almost all primes are not needed in Ternary Goldbach

The ternary Goldbach conjecture states that every odd number $m \geqslant 7$ can be written as the sum of three primes. We construct a set of primes $\mathbb{P}$ defined by an expanding system of admissible congruences such that almost all primes are not in $\mathbb{P}$ and still, the ternary Goldbach conjecture holds true with primes restricted to $\mathbb{P}$.
