BKP and CKP hierarchies via orbifold Saito theory

Semisimple Dubrovin-Frobenius manifolds can be used to construct integrable hierarchies, following the work of Dubrovin-Zhang and Buryak. Examples of such hierarchies include the Kac-Wakimoto hierarchies, the KP hierarchy, among others. In all these examples, the Saito theory of isolated singularities played a crucial role. In this note, we show that the BKP and CKP hierarchies can likewise be constructed from Dubrovin-Frobenius manifolds. This new construction, however, utilizes the orbifold version of Saito theory for isolated singularities endowed with a symmetry group.

Elements of Saito theory via Batalin--Vilkovisky algebras

Saito theory associates to a quasihomogeneous isolated singularity the structure of a Dubrovin--Frobenius manifold. This structure is not unique, depending on the special choice of a primitive form or, equivalently, a good basis. We study primitive forms and respective Dubrovin--Frobenius manifolds via BV-algebras. In particular, we give recursive formulae for the primitive form of K. Saito and the R-matrix of Givental using BV-algebra computations.

Orbifold Saito theory of A and D type singularities

Saito theory associates to an isolated singularity rich structure that plays an important role in mirror symmetry. In this note we construct Saito theory for A and D type Landau--Ginzburg orbifolds. Namely, for the pairs $(f,G)$, where $f$ defines an isolated singularity of A and D type and $G$ is a group of symmetries of $f$. In total we consider five families of such pairs. In particular, we construct the orbifold versions of Brieskorn lattice and the Gauss--Manin connection computing them explicitly for the A and D type Landau--Ginzburg orbifolds.

Genus zero Whitham hierarchy via Hurwitz--Frobenius manifolds

B. Dubrovin introduced the structure of a Dubrovin--Frobenius manifold on a space of ramified coverings of a sphere by a genus $g$ Riemann surface with the prescribed ramification profile. This is now known as a genus $g$ Hurwitz--Frobenius manifold. We investigate the genus zero Hurwitz--Frobenius manifolds and their connection to the integrable hierarchies. In particular, we prove that the Frobenius potentials of the genus zero Hurwitz--Frobenius manifolds stabilize and therefore define an infinite system of commuting PDEs. We show that this system of PDEs is equivalent to the genus zero Whitham hierarchy of I. Krichever. Our result shows that this system of PDEs has both Fay form, depending heavily on the flat structure fo the Hurwitz--Frobenius manifold and coordinatefree Lax form. We also show how to extend this system of PDEs to the multicomponent KP hierarchy via the $\hbar$--deformation of the differential operators.

Mirror partner for a Klein quartic polynomial

The results of A.Chiodo, Y.Ruan and M.Krawitz associate the mirror partner Calabi-Yau variety $X$ to a Landau--Ginzburg orbifold $(f,G)$ if $f$ is an invertible polynomial satisfying Calabi-Yau condition and the group $G$ is a diagonal symmetry group of $f$. In this paper we investigate the Landau-Ginzburg orbifolds with a Klein quartic polynomial $f = x_1^3x_2 + x_2^3x_3+x_3^3x_1$ and $G$ being all possible subgroups of $\mathrm{GL}(3,\mathbb{C})$, preserving the polynomial $f$ and also the pairing in its Jacobian algebra. In particular, $G$ is not necessarily abelian or diagonal. The zero-set of polynomial $f$, called Klein quartic, is a genus $3$ smooth compact Riemann surface. We show that its mirror Landau-Ginzburg orbifold is $(f,G)$ with $G$ being a $\mathbb{Z}/2\mathbb{Z}$-extension of a Klein four-group.

On B type family of Dubrovin-Frobenius manifolds and their integrable systems

According to D.Zuo and an unpulished work of M.Bertola, there is a two--index series of Dubrovin--Frobenius manifold structures associated to a B type Coxeter group. We study the relations between these structures for the different values of these indices. We show that part of the data of such Dubrovin--Frobenius manifold indexed by $(k,l)$ can be recovered by the $(k+r,l+r)$ Dubrovin--Frobenius manifold. Continuing the program of arXiv:2007.11974 we associate an infinite system of commuting PDEs to these Dubrovin--Frobenius manifolds and show that these PDEs extend the dispersionless BKP hierarchy.

Hodge diamonds of the Landau--Ginzburg orbifolds

Consider the pairs $(f,G)$ with $f = f(x_1,\dots,x_N)$ being a polynomial defining a quasihomogeneous singularity and $G$ being a subgroup of ${\rm SL}(N,\mathbb{C})$, preserving $f$. In particular, $G$ is not necessary abelian. Assume further that $G$ contains the grading operator $j_f$ and $f$ satisfies the Calabi-Yau condition. We prove that the nonvanishing bigraded pieces of the B-model state space of $(f,G)$ form a diamond. We identify its topmost, bottommost, leftmost and rightmost entries as one-dimensional and show that this diamond enjoys the essential horizontal and vertical isomorphisms.

A construction of open descendant potentials in all genera

We present a construction of an open analogue of total descendant and total ancestor potentials via an "open version" of Givental's action. Our construction gives a genus expansion for an arbitrary solution to the open WDVV equations satisfying a semisimplicity condition and admitting a unit. We show that the open total descendant potentials we define satisfy the open topological recursion relations in genus 0 and 1, the open string and open dilaton equations. We finish the paper with a computation of the simplest nontrivial open correlator in genus 1 using our construction.

Integrable systems associated to open extensions of type A and D Dubrovin-Frobenius manifolds

We investigate the solutions to open WDVV equation, associated to type A and D Dubrovin-Frobenius manifolds. We show that these solutions satisfy some stabilization condition and associate to both of them the systems of commuting PDEs. In the type A we show that the system of PDEs constructed coincides with the dispersionless modifiled KP hierarchy written in the Fay form.

Mirror map for Fermat polynomial with non-abelian group of symmetries

We study Landau-Ginzburg orbifolds $(f,G)$ with $f=x_1^n+\ldots+x_N^n$ and $G=S\ltimes G^d$, where $S\subseteq S_N$ and $G^d$ is either the maximal group of scalar symmetries of $f$ or the intersection of the maximal diagonal symmetries of $f$ with $\mathrm{SL}_N(\mathbb{C})$. We construct a mirror map between the corresponding phase spaces and prove that it is an isomorphism restricted to a certain subspace of the phase space when $n=N$ is a prime number. When $S$ satisfies the condition PC of Ebeling and Gusein-Zade this subspace coincides with the full space. We also show that two phase spaces are isomorphic for $n=N=5$.

3-dimensional F-manifolds

F-manifolds are complex manifolds with a multiplication with unit on the holomorphic tangent bundle with a certain integrability condition. Here the local classification of 3-dimensional F-manifolds with or without Euler fields is pursued.

Hochschild cohomology of Fermat type polynomials with non-abelian symmetries

For a polynomial $f = x_1^n + \dots + x_N^n$ let $G_f$ be the non--abelian maximal group of symmetries of $f$. This is a group generated by all $g \in \mathrm{GL}(N,\mathbb{C})$, rescaling and permuting the variables, so that $f(\mathbf{x}) = f(g \cdot \mathbf{x})$. For any $G \subseteq G_f$ we compute explicitly Hochschild cohomology of the category of $G$--equivarint matrix factorizations of $f$. We introduce the pairing on it showing that it is a Frobenius algebra.

Mirror symmetry for a cusp polynomial Landau-Ginzburg orbifold

For any triple of positive integers $A' = (a_1',a_2',a_3')$ and $c \in \mathbb{C}^*$, cusp polynomial $f_{A'} = x_1^{a_1'}+x_2^{a_2'}+x_3^{a_3'}-c^{-1}x_1x_2x_3$ is known to be mirror to Geigle-Lenzing orbifold projective line $\mathbb{P}^1_{a_1',a_2',a_3'}$. More precisely, with a suitable choice of a primitive form, Frobenius manifold of a cusp polynomial $f_{A'}$, turns out to be isomorphic to the Frobenius manifold of the Gromov-Witten theory of $\mathbb{P}^1_{a_1',a_2',a_3'}$. In this paper we extend this mirror phenomenon to the equivariant case. Namely, for any $G$ - a symmetry group of a cusp polynomial $f_{A'}$, we introduce the Frobenius manifold of a pair $(f_{A'},G)$ and show that it is isomorphic to the Frobenius manifold of the Gromov-Witten theory of Geigle-Lenzing weighted projective line $\mathbb{P}^1_{A,\Lambda}$, indexed by another set $A$ and $\Lambda$, distinct points on $\mathbb{C}\setminus\{0,1\}$. For some special values of $A'$ with the special choice of $G$ it happens that $\mathbb{P}^1_{A'} \cong \mathbb{P}^1_{A,\Lambda}$. Combining our mirror symmetry isomorphism for the pair $(A,\Lambda)$, together with the "usual" one for $A'$, we get certain identities of the coefficients of the Frobenius potentials. We show that these identities are equivalent to the identities between the Jacobi theta constants and Dedekind eta-function.

Integrable hierarchies associated to infinite families of Frobenius manifolds

We propose a new construction of an integrable hierarchy associated to any infinite series of Frobenius manifolds satisfying a certain stabilization condition. We study these hierarchies for Frobenius manifolds associated to $A_N$, $D_N$ and $B_N$ singularities. In the case of $A_N$ Frobenius manifolds our hierarchy turns out to coincide with the KP hierarchy; for $B_N$ Frobenius manifolds it coincides with the BKP hierarchy; and for $D_N$ hierarchy it is a certain reduction of the 2-component BKP hierarchy. As a side product to these results we illustrate the enumerative meaning of certain coefficients of $A_N$, $D_N$ and $B_N$ Frobenius potentials.

Open Saito theory for $A$ and $D$ singularities

A well known construction of B. Dubrovin and K. Saito endows the parameter space of a universal unfolding of a simple singularity with a Frobenius manifold structure. In our paper we present a generalization of this construction for the singularities of types $A$ and $D$, that gives a solution of the open WDVV equations. For the $A$-singularity the resulting solution describes the intersection numbers on the moduli space of $r$-spin disks, introduced recently in a work of the second author, E. Clader and R. Tessler. In the second part of the paper we describe the space of homogeneous polynomial solutions of the open WDVV equations associated to the Frobenius manifolds of finite irreducible Coxeter groups.

Open WDVV equations and Virasoro constraints

In their fundamental work, B. Dubrovin and Y. Zhang, generalizing the Virasoro equations for the genus 0 Gromov-Witten invariants, proved the Virasoro equations for a descendent potential in genus 0 of an arbitrary conformal Frobenius manifold. More recently, a remarkable system of partial differential equations, called the open WDVV equations, appeared in the work of A. Horev and J. P. Solomon. This system controls the genus 0 open Gromov-Witten invariants. In our paper, for an arbitrary solution of the open WDVV equations, satisfying a certain homogeneity condition, we construct a descendent potential in genus 0 and prove an open analog of the Virasoro equations. We also present conjectural open Virasoro equations in all genera and discuss some examples.

Hochschild cohomology and orbifold Jacobian algebras associated to invertible polynomials

Let $f$ be an invertible polynomial and $G$ a group of diagonal symmetries of $f$. This note shows that the orbifold Jacobian algebra $\mathrm{Jac}(f,G)$ of $(f,G)$ defined by the authors and Elisabeth Werner in arXiv:1608.08962 is isomorphic as a $\mathbb{ZZ}/2\mathbb{ZZ}$-graded algebra to the Hochschild cohomology $\mathsf{HH}^*(\mathrm{MF}_G(f))$ of the dg-category $\mathrm{MF}_G(f)$ of $G$-equivariant matrix factorizations of $f$ by calculating the product formula of $\mathsf{HH}^*(\mathrm{MF}_G(f))$ given by Shklyarov in arXiv:1708.06030. We also discuss the relation of our previous results to the categorical equivalence.

6-dimensional FJRW theories of the simple-elliptic singularities

We give explicitly in the closed formulae the genus zero primary potentials of the three 6-dimensional FJRW theories of the simple-elliptic singularity $\tilde E_7$ with the non-maximal symmetry groups. For each of these FJRW theories we establish the CY/LG correspondence to the Gromov-Witten theory of the orbifold $[\mathcal{E}/ (\mathbb{Z}/2\mathbb{Z})]$ --- the orbifold quotient of the elliptic curve by the hyperelliptic involution. Namely, we give explicitly the Givental's group elements, whose actions on the partition function of the Gromov--Witten theory of $[\mathcal{E}/ (\mathbb{Z}/2\mathbb{Z})]$ give up to a linear change of the variables the partition functions of the FJRW theories mentioned. We keep track of the linear changes of the variables needed. We show that using only the axioms of Fan--Jarvis--Ruan, the genus zero potential can only be reconstructed up to a scaling.
