A Cost-Aware Agentic Architecture for NL-to-SQL over Nested Enterprise Schemas, with a New Benchmark

Natural-language-to-SQL systems have ad- vanced rapidly on academic benchmarks, yet production enterprise schemas exhibit graph- like, semi-structured, deeply nested structure that current benchmarks do not measure. We make two complementary contributions. First, we introduce the DevRev NL2SQL bench- mark: 900 execution-verified queries with nested-type and link-graph structure, accom- panied by the Semantic Depth Score (SDS), a schema-agnostic rubric for analytical reasoning depth. Second, we present a cost-aware single- generation agentic architecture whose schema- selection, metadata-retrieval, and error-repair components are designed for the requirements this regime imposes. On the DevRev NL2SQL benchmark the system attains 91.7% answer correctness, a margin of 54.6 percentage points over the next-best baseline; on the Spider 2.0 Snowflake public dataset, it is competitive with leading systems at a single-generation operating point.

Succeeding at Scale: Enterprise Retrieval Benchmark Construction and Index-Preserving Query Adaptation for Multi-Tenant Search

Large-scale multi-tenant retrieval systems generate extensive query logs but lack curated relevance labels for effective domain adaptation, resulting in substantial underutilized "dark data." This challenge is compounded by the high cost of model updates, as jointly fine-tuning query and document encoders requires full corpus re-indexing, which is impractical in multi-tenant settings with thousands of isolated indices. We introduce DevRev-Search, a passage retrieval benchmark for technical customer support built via a fully automated pipeline. Candidate generation uses fusion across diverse sparse and dense retrievers, followed by an LLM-as-a-Judge for consistency filtering and relevance labeling. We further study and systematically evaluate index-preserving query-only adaptation strategies that fine-tune only the query-encoder while keeping the document indices fixed. Experiments on DevRev-Search, SciFact, and FiQA-2018 show that parameter-efficient fine-tuning of the query encoder delivers a remarkable quality-efficiency trade-off, enabling scalable and practical enterprise multi-tenant retrieval.

EDA Corpus: A Large Language Model Dataset for Enhanced Interaction with OpenROAD

Large language models (LLMs) serve as powerful tools for design, providing capabilities for both task automation and design assistance. Recent advancements have shown tremendous potential for facilitating LLM integration into the chip design process; however, many of these works rely on data that are not publicly available and/or not permissively licensed for use in LLM training and distribution. In this paper, we present a solution aimed at bridging this gap by introducing an open-source dataset tailored for OpenROAD, a widely adopted open-source EDA toolchain. The dataset features over 1000 data points and is structured in two formats: (i) a pairwise set comprised of question prompts with prose answers, and (ii) a pairwise set comprised of code prompts and their corresponding OpenROAD scripts. By providing this dataset, we aim to facilitate LLM-focused research within the EDA domain. The dataset is available at https://github.com/OpenROAD-Assistant/EDA-Corpus.

Change in spin-down rate and detection of emission line in HMXB 4U 2206+54 with AstroSat observation

This work presents timing and spectral analysis of 4U 2206+54 using data obtained from LAXPC instrument onboard India's AstroSat mission. This source was observed with AstroSat in September 2016 and October 2016. We report detection of $5648 (4)$ s pulsations at MJD 57669 in the latter observation of 4U 2206+54. The pulse profile is sinusoidal and the inherent shape is independent of energy up to 30 keV. The pulse fraction increases with energy from $\sim 0.5$% to $\sim 0.8$%. We report an updated spin down rate of $2.95 (14) \times 10^{-7}$ s s$^{-1}$. This is about 0.40 times smaller than the previously reported long term value. The energy spectrum is best modelled with an absorbed power-law with high energy exponential cut-off. We have detected presence of broad emission line in 4U 2206+54 at an energy of $7$ keV with equivalent width of $\sim 0.4$ keV.

Single Crystal Functional Oxides on Silicon

Single crystalline thin films of complex oxides show a rich variety of functional properties such as ferroelectricity, piezoelectricity, ferro and antiferromagnetism etc. that have the potential for completely new electronic applications (1-2). Direct synthesis of such oxides on Si remains challenging due to the fundamental crystal chemistry and mechanical incompatibility of dissimilar interfaces (3-16). Here we report integration of thin (down to 1 unit cell) single crystalline, complex oxide films onto Si substrates, by epitaxial transfer at room temperature. In a field effect transistor using a transferred Pb0.2Zr0.8TiO3 (PZT) layer as the gate insulator, we demonstrate direct reversible control of the semiconductor channel charge with polarization state. These results represent the realization of long pursued but yet to be demonstrated single crystal functional oxides on-demand on silicon.
