On the invertibility of quantization functors

Abstract

Certain quantization problems are equivalent to the construction of morphisms from "quantum" to "classical" props. Once such a morphism is constructed, Hensel's lemma shows that it is in fact an isomorphism. This gives a new, simple proof that any Etingof-Kazhdan quantization functor is an equivalence of categories between quantized universal enveloping (QUE) algebras and Lie bialgebras over a formal series ring (dequantization). We apply the same argument to construct dequantizations of formal solutions of the quantum Yang-Baxter equation and of quasitriangular QUE algebras. We also give structure results for the props involved in quantization of Lie bialgebras, which yield an associator-independent proof that the prop of QUE algebras is a flat deformation of the prop of co-Poisson universal enveloping algebras.

Reverse Module Categories of Vertex Operator Algebras

We study the realization of the reverse braided category of the module category of a rational vertex operator algebra V. Using holomorphic extensions and commutant constructions, we prove that this realization property is preserved under suitable cosets, tensor products, extensions, and finite-group orbifolds. As applications, we establish the property for unitary Virasoro minimal models, affine vertex operator algebras of types ABCDE at positive integral levels, the corresponding principal W-algebras of type ADE, and related parafermion vertex operator algebras.

Semisimple module categories with fusion rules of the compact flag manifold type

We classify semisimple left module categories over the representation category of a type A quantum group whose fusion rules arise from Levi subalgebras. The classification is connected to equivariant Poisson structures on compact flag manifolds in the operator-algebraic setting, and on semisimple coadjoint orbits in the algebraic setting. We also provide an explicit construction based on the BGG categories of deformed quantum enveloping algebras, whose unitarizability corresponds to being of quotient type. Finally, we present a brief discussion of the non-quantum group case

Two Non--Commutative U(1)-Gauge Laplacians in the Quantum Hyperboloid

In this paper, we will characterize the spectrum of two $U(1)$--gauge Laplacians, which do not commute with each other, on the upper sheet of a two--sheet quantum hyperboloid equipped with a concrete differential calculus; while we provide a thorough and comprehensive study of the geometric structures on the related quantum spaces.
