Different approach to certain problems in univalent function theory

Abstract

Using different approach we consider some problems for the class $\mathcal{S}_{ex}^{\star}$ defined by the condition $\frac{zf'(z)}{f(z)}\prec e^{αz}$, $0<α\leq1.$ Our method is more simple than that used by Das and Sarkar in their work: \textit{Sharp coefficient estimates for the exponential starlike class $S^\star_{ex}$} (\cite{DS26}).

On quaternionic analysis and a certain generalized fractal-fractional $ψ$-Fueter operator

This paper introduces a fractal $ψ$-Fueter operator in the quaternionic context inspired by the concepts of proportional derivative and Hausdorff derivative ({fractal derivative}) of a function with respect to a fractal measure. Moreover, we establish the corresponding Stokes and Borel-Pompeiu formulas associated to this generalized fractal $ψ$-Fueter operator with respect to a vector valued function induced by truncated exponential functions.

Radii of Starlikeness of Spirallike Functions

A normalized analytic function $f$ defined on the unit disk $\mathbb{D}$ is called $α$-spirallike if $f(\mathbb{D})$ is an $α$-spirallike domain, that is, for every $z\in f(\mathbb{D})$, the $α$-spiral $ze^{-e^{iα}t}$, $t\ge0$, is contained in $f(\mathbb{D})$, or equivalently, if $\operatorname{Re}\!\left(e^{iα} {zf'(z)}/{f(z)}\right)>0$ for all $z\in \mathbb{D}$. The 0-spirallike functions are the usual starlike functions. The function $f$ is parabolic starlike, if $\operatorname{Re}\!\left(\frac{zf'(z)}{f(z)}\right)>\left|\frac{zf'(z)}{f(z)}-1\right|$, and lemniscate starlike if $|(zf'(z)/f(z))^2-1|<1$ respectively. In this paper, we determine the radii of parabolic starlikeness and lemniscate starlikeness of $α$-spirallike functions. Our approach combines geometric characterizations of the underlying regions with the resultant method for eliminating auxiliary variables, leading to explicit equations for the sharp radii. Some known radius results are recovered as special cases.

Modulus estimates and cavitation in higher dimensions

We explore the phenomenon of cavitation in higher-dimensional elasticity, defining it as the mapping of a punctured ball onto a non-degenerate ring domain. Crucially, for the class of locally quasiconformal mappings (or more general mappings) defined on the punctured ball $0<|x|<1$ in $\mathbb R^n$ that we examine, cavitation is equivalent to a failure of continuous extension to the origin. While existing modulus estimates prove insufficient for reliably detecting cavitation in this setting, our study establishes refined modulus bounds. This is achieved by introducing a novel directional dilatation which, in conjunction with the known angular dilatation, overcomes the limitations of previous methods. We illustrate our theoretical findings with several examples that demonstrate both cavitation occurrence and its absence.
