A Twisted Affine Interpolation of the $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded Integrable Super-Liouville and super-Sinh-Gordon Equations

Abstract

This paper is a third one in a series devoted to the construction of $2D$, $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded, integrable Toda field theories. The first paper introduced parabosonic models obtained from Rittenberg-Wyler color Lie algebras; the second paper explained how to deal with parafermions (the $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded super-Liouville theory) from finite Rittenberg-Wyler color Lie superalgebras. This new paper extends the construction to the infinite case of (twisted) affine color Lie superalgebras. A $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded extension of ${\widehat{\mathfrak{osp}(2|2)^{(2)}}}$ allows to interpolate the super-Liouville and the super-Sinh-Gordon models, recovered as special limits. The $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded extensions of three frameworks are here discussed: the Polyakov's soldering, the Leznov-Savel'ev Lax pair (zero-curvature) formulation and the Bäcklund transformations. As a byproduct of the construction, the Hamiltonian reduction from the $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded ${\widehat{\mathfrak{osp(2|2)}^{(2)}}}$ WZNW models induces a $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded color Lie superalgebra which admits three inequivalent superVirasoro subalgebras; they are the ${\cal N}=2$ superVirasoro, the $(1,\frac{3}{2},\frac{3}{2},2)$ $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded superVirasoro and the $(\frac{3}{2},\frac{3}{2},2,2)$ $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded superVirasoro.

Ground State Energy of Dilute Fermi Gases in 1D

We study the one-dimensional spin-$J$ Fermi gas, interacting through a general repulsive 2-body potential, and prove asymptotics of the ground state energy in the dilute limit. The asymptotic behaviour is given in terms of the ground state energy of a spin chain, which is the Heisenberg antiferromagnet in the case of spin-1/2 fermions. We determine similar asymptotics for the Lieb-Liniger-Heisenberg model, showing that a product trial state used by Girardeau is not optimal.

Magnetic Hardy inequalities with singular integral weights

In this paper we present Hardy type inequalities for magnetic Dirichlet forms with singular integral weights. We analyze the local and global optimality of the integral weight and discuss several examples in details. An application of our results to spectral estimates for magnetic Schrödinger operators is provided as well.

Perturbative anomalies in quantum mechanics

In this work, we propose a cohomological approach to studying perturbative anomalies in quantum mechanics. The Hamiltonian $\hat{H}$ together with the symmetry generator $\hat{S}$ forms a unitary representation of the two-dimensional Abelian Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}\cong \mathbb{R}^{2}$ on the Hilbert space $V$. We show that perturbations of such a system are related to the first Chevalley-Eilenberg cohomology group $H^{1}_{CE}(\mathbb{R}^{2},\mathfrak{u}(V))$. In turn, the perturbative anomalies of the symmetry $\hat{S}$ are related to the second cohomology group $H^{2}_{CE}(\mathbb{R}^{2},\mathfrak{u}(V))$.
