Pre-geometric Black Holes with Spherical Symmetry
Abstract
Pre-geometric Gravity investigates the non-metric features of spacetime near the Planck scale, from which the gravitational interaction arises as a low-energy effective theory via a mechanism of spontaneous symmetry breaking. With a view of amending the classical singularities found in black hole geometries, in this work we study pre-geometric black hole configurations with spherical symmetry, and present exact solutions for different pre-geometric theories in vacuum via the correspondence principle. These solutions are the pre-geometric analogue of the (anti-)de Sitter-Schwarzschild metric, from which such type of black hole geometry is thus expected to emerge. In one case, the pre-geometric solution also exhibits an (anti-)de Sitter core of Planckian size. The main result is supplemented with an analysis of the pre-geometric version of Birkhoff's theorem.
