Quiver Demazure algebras I: Residue descent, finite quotients, and PBW bases

Abstract

We study quiver Demazure algebras through residue covers and root-power quotients. The cover determined by the zero-root subsystem identifies the additive algebra with a finite fixed algebra of Sauter's generalized quiver Hecke construction. Her basis theorem then gives additive PBW in every finite Weyl type, for arbitrary admissible residue data and uniform quivers. A sequence-cover argument gives global multiplicative PBW in simply-laced type. Under a directed-path condition, root-power quotients are finite dimensional and the formal exponential identifies their additive and multiplicative forms. For arrow-free quivers, we reduce mixed-residue quotients to matrix algebras over finite skew group rings, obtain sharp nonvanishing criteria from coinvariant geometry, and determine their simple modules. In a mixed type-$D_4$ family we compute an explicit coefficient presentation, dimensions, Loewy lengths, and Cartan matrices. We also specify the direct and finite-cover comparisons with Liu's algebras.

A Tensor 2-Product of 2-Representations of $\mathfrak{sl}_{2}^{+}$

We construct an explicit abelian model for the operation of tensor $2$-product for $2$-representations of $\mathfrak{sl}_{2}^{+}$, specifically the product of a simple $2$-representation $\mathcal{L}(1)$ with a given abelian $2$-representation $\mathcal{V}$ taken from the $2$-category of algebras. We study the case $\mathcal{V}=\mathcal{L}(1)$ in detail and identify the resulting $2$-representation. Our $2$-product construction partially confirms a conjecture of Rouquier from 2008.

Intertwining operators for representations of covering groups of reductive $p$-adic groups

Let $G$ be a covering group of a reductive $p$-adic group. We study intertwining operators between parabolically induced representations of $G$ and prove that they satisfy certain adjointness relations. The Harish-Chandra $μ$-function is defined as a composition of such intertwining operators for opposite parabolic subgroups of $G$. It can be seen as a complex rational function and we give an explicit formula for it in terms of poles and zeros. The adjointness of the intertwining operators is an important ingredient to prove the formula for the $μ$-function. To locate the poles of $μ$, we construct a continuous family of Hermitian forms on a family of parabolically induced representations.

The refined Broué conjecture for RoCK blocks of double covers of symmetric and alternating groups

Recently, Kleshchev and Livesey proved the existence of RoCK $p$-blocks for double covers of symmetric and alternating groups over large enough coefficient rings. They proved that these RoCK blocks of double covers are Morita equivalent to standard ``local" blocks via bimodules with endopermutation source. Based on this, Kleshchev and Livesey proved that RoCK blocks are splendidly Rickard equivalent to their Brauer correspondents. The analogous result for blocks of symmetric groups, a theorem of Chuang and Kessar, was an important step in Chuang and Rouquier ultimately proving Broué's abelian defect group conjecture for symmetric groups. In this paper we show that the Morita and splendid Rickard equivalences constructed by Kleshchev and Livesey descend to the ring $\mathbb{Z}_p$ of $p$-adic integers, hence prove Kessar and Linckelmann's refinement of Broué's abelian defect group conjecture for these RoCK blocks.
