EOS version 1.1: A Software for Flavor Physics Phenomenology
Abstract
EOS is an open-source software package for a variety of computational tasks in flavor physics. In this article, we describe new developments for version 1.1 of this software and discuss changes with respect to version 1.0. These developments and changes include theory predictions for additional decay and scattering processes, such as semileptonic charm decays, hadronic tau decays, and $e^+e^- \to$ hadrons scattering. Overall, these changes have contributed 1063 additional (pseudo-)observables. Beyond the physics capabilities of the software, the changes include improving the quality and reducing the computational costs of posterior sampling; providing a more versatile and testable figure framework; and improving the overall user experience.
