Hochshild cohomology of the associative conformal algebra Cend_{1,x}

Abstract

It is established in this work that second Hochshild cohomology group of the associative conformal algebra Cend_{1,x} is zero. As a corollary, this algebra split off in each extension with a nilpotent kernel. Key words: associative conformal algebra, splitting off radical, Hochshild cohomology.

Wreath products of cocommutative Hopf algebras

We define wreath products of cocommutative Hopf algebras, and show that they enjoy a universal property for coalgebra-split extensions, analogous to the Kaloujnine-Krasner theorem for groups. We show that the group ring of a wreath product of groups is the wreath product of their group rings. The enveloping algebra of the wreath product of two Lie algebras is the irreducible component containing the identity in the wreath product of their enveloping algebras. We recover the aforementioned result that group extensions may be classified as certain subgroups of a wreath product, and that Lie algebra extensions may also be classified as certain subalgebras of a wreath product.

Polynomial Identities and Codimensions of Certain Three-Dimensional Metabelian Non-Lie Leibniz Algebras

Over an arbitrary field, we conduct a comprehensive study of the polynomial identities and codimensions of two- and three-dimensional metabelian non-Lie Leibniz algebras. In addition, we compute the images of multihomogeneous polynomials on two-dimensional Leibniz algebras and, as a consequence, prove that the image of any multilinear polynomial evaluated on such algebras is always a vector space. Our analysis includes the three nontrivial isomorphism classes in dimension two and the ten isomorphism classes in dimension three, all of which are metabelian. In particular, we determine finite bases for their corresponding $T$-ideals and provide explicit bases for the associated relatively free graded algebras.

Gorenstein homological invariants and monoidal model categories of Hopf algebras

Let $H$ be a Hopf algebra over a field $k$ with a bijective antipode. It is proved that the Gorenstein global dimension of $H$ coincides with the Gorenstein projective dimension of the trivial left (or right) $H$-module $k$. Then, $H$ is finite dimensional if and only if the Gorenstein projective dimension of $k$ is trivial. Although monoidal Morita-Takeuchi equivalence of Hopf algebras does not preserve the global dimension, we demonstrate that it does preserve the Gorenstein global dimension and the Artin-Schelter Gorenstein property; this supports Brown-Goodearl's question of whether every noetherian (affine) Hopf algebra is AS Gorenstein. Finally, for $H$ and an $H$-Galois object $B$, we show the categories of modules $_H\mathcal{M}$ and $_B\mathcal{M}_B^H$ are monoidal model categories regarding Gorenstein projective model structure, provided that the Gorenstein global dimension of $H$ is finite. The corresponding stable categories are tensor triangulated categories.
